The room, centre and its ground are fantastic with wide open spaces both inside and out. Guests have space to break out into coffee areas, outdoor seating with views out over to Sweden.

The breakfast was a little disappointing as one serving table was relatively bare and unstocked when first approached in morning, with the other providing minimal items wanted. This was rectified after we had sat down but again some items were not too hot. The views from the breakfast area were lovely, out to the gardens and over to Sweden.

The hotel consists of several complexes connected to each other by corridors. It was quite difficult to find the room, the receptionist's instructions alone were not enough. The bathroom is small but beautiful, modern and renovated, it is perfect. The room is small and not as modern as it looks in the picture, the equipment is old. We had a ground floor room with a high wooden ceiling. The bed is comfortable, it was quiet outside all night. The view was wonderful, of an endless grass and forest. Breakfast was good, excellent coffee from the machine, scrambled and boiled eggs, marmalade, butter, 3 types of fruit, cheese, cereal. Yogurt, paprika, fresh bread and much more. The breakfast raised my impression of the hotel.

Breakfast ends very early, at 9 a.m. during the week, and at 10 a.m. during the weekend. The room I was in looks much more modern and beautiful in the picture than it is in reality. In fact, it is already quite in need of renovation and it is at least about 30 years old furniture. Bad value for money. It was very expensive, nowhere in Europe, as well as outside, I have never been in such an old hotel for such a high price, especially considering that the location is remote, in a small town. There is no water heater in the room. The dining room tables could have better lights. Also, the lighting in the room is a little too weak. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything over them.

This property is surrounded by open grass fields and a net for volleyball or badminton. The majority rooms are not connected to the main lobby but all are a quick brief walk. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was included and it was wonderful! Lots of options, fresh rolls, fruit, juices, meats and cheeses, eggs and more! The staff was also very nice. It was a convenient drive to town and maybe 5 minutes to the castle. There is a lovely outdoor patio in the lobby building as well. It was a very nice stay!

The property is not on the water but it is a short walk through the back to it. Also, the parking is away from your room, in case you have any mobility issues or a lot of luggage. We saw a few people drive their cars closer for loading/unloading but they cannot be parked overnight.

View from the room was good as it was opening up to the golf course. We were quite disappointed during the time of check-in as we were not given a room based upon our booking. The hotel gave us three rooms to look at and pick from and we insisted on the room we initially booked. Finally we were alloted a room that was comfortable. The rest is history.

Suite was a good size for 3 of us. There were 2 sofas. No kettle in the room but there were free to use tea and coffee machines in the corridor and free water. Breakfast was good and we could have eaten an evening meal there if we ordered it beforehand.

Danish buses only accept passes or cash. We were travelling without a car and needed the bus to get to Konventum which is out of the town. We found a cash machine about a mile away but then the bus drivers didn't have change....

The conference centre is a architectural gem from the sixties. The hotel mext door is neautiful as well. The location is stunning and the people are really friendly.

The information on Booking.com is not correct. The conference centre and gym are not accessible during the summer in July to visitors of the hotel. Since this is lacking on Booking.com we had a big argument to get what we had paid for. But once this was sorted, everything was perfect.

An old school converted into a business and training center, in the middle of a golf course and 2 mins from the beach (great ocean view from the hotel). Coffee and tea complimentary all day, other amenities to keep you entertained even if you are stuck inside because of a storm (my case), piano, billiards...

A bit far from the main city. Not easy getting to the city center because of very few public transport options. Breakfast good but bit limited.

Beautiful grounds and building - we booked last minute as had nowhere to stay, so arrived very late. We ordered a family room and was amazed at the amount of space we were given. Nice and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast.

We would have loved to have more time to explore the grounds. Checkout time could have been a bit later too. There was no hand soap in our room.

The building was beautiful, the room excellent. The reception was so friendly and the overall feel of the place was superb. Of particular note was the guy in the restaurant who was really helpful and welcoming,and we had the best plaice ever. We travel to Sweden regularly to visit our son, and this Centre will be a definite stop if in the future .

Since hotel was booked with sport teams and artists, the breakfast buffet was great and wonderful. :) We love the possibility to grab a coffee as well during the evening.

We missed normal yoghurt at the breakfast buffet (only skyr was served). Cleaning the tables during breakfast after guests could have been quicker since the hotel was fully booked.
