The service was superb. Front of house were more than happy to answer any questions we had or provide recommendations. We were given a complimentary map and given a few places of recommendations. They remembered us and greeted us every time we walked through the reception which was a nice personal touch. The room was also fantastic - a comfortable size, very clean, comfy, several pillows and warm / strong showers. We were offered a chance at reception to share any adjustments we wanted, such as a bathtub. Usually rooms are too hot or too cold, but this room was just right in terms of temperature. The amenities are also good with a large gym and sauna. They also extended our checkout by 1 hour free of charge which was really helpful! The hotel restaurant is surprisingly very tasty, would recommend the swedish meatballs if you have a chance. Breakfast has a wide selection. The hotel location is very close to a Thorildsplans station (3 minute walk) which has the 8bit metro art. The station has direct links to Central station which means it's convenient to travel around Stockholm.

The location was relatively central but you still needed to tube to travel anywhere. The walk from Thorildsplans station to the hotel is on a huge roundabout. There also didn't seem to be a large supermarket or other local restaurants immediately outside the hotel, but this isn't a massive deal breaker as the hotel has these amenities and the tube is very close.

Location was convenient - just a 7 min walk to nearest subway/metro station. Breakfast is a very good spread and lots of things to choose from. The restaurant inside the hotel (Soth's Kitchen) serves very good food at very reasonable prices - we had dinner there twice during our stay and in both cases the food and service were stellar.

Front desk staff were helpful. However they were not "over the top" helpful as to what I'm used to in Asia be it in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Japan. Perhaps the level of helpfulness I encountered is the norm in Stockholm / other Nordic areas?

The room is perfect for a couple, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is nice too, not too far from the city center so it's relatively easy to get around. The hotel is very nice, super clean and friendly staff. I would highly recommend!

On our first night the room was a bit cold, the heating was not working properly due to the temperature suddenly dropping. But after I told staff about it, they fixed it. Also, the breakfast buffet is not suitable for vegans and vegetarians. We, as vegetarians, had very little selection of foods to choose from. And for vegans, it would be almost impossible to eat anything from the breakfast buffet. So this would be my main complaint. For vegans and vegetarians, I would recommend to visit The Green Queen instead which is nearby (about 10 mins walking from the hotel).

The room we stayed in was large and contained everything you need and expect. The breakfast was perfect and you could also pick some local pastries as well as filtered coffee that swedes usually drink. The whole hotel had a premium look to it and upon leaving we received a packed breakfast since we had to leave at an early hour to catch our flight. The location of the hotel is close to a metro station from which you can explore the whole city very conveniently at any hour of the day.

Despite an initial mistake (we got a communicating room, but we didn’t ask for it), we requested a new, non-communicating room, and we were able to swap immediately. The room was very nice, bright, and exceptionally quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect; we slept very well. The room was equipped with a mini-fridge, a TV, a kettle, and a small wardrobe. The private bathroom was also nice, furnished with an ample supply of towels, a practical shower, a huge mirror (loved it), and good lighting. We truly appreciated the breakfast, which offered a vast selection of food. The location is excellent, since it's only 5 min from metro station (Thorildsplan).

The absence of the bidet in the bathroom (but we know it's basically an "italian thing"); cleaning is good, but I think it needs to be improved.

The common areas were nice. Bar with an open fire where it was nice to have a drink in the evening. The gym was one of the largest I have seen in a hotel, with rather good equipment and a sauna. Before we decided which room we wanted to stay in, we saw a couple of different ones. The receptionist was very accommodating and wanted us to be happy with our choice of room. We chose one of the rooms that had been renovated and it was good but quite basic. Could have accommodated another armchair to make a better sitting area. The breakfast was excellent, among the best selection we have had in a hotel and is highly recommended.

Despite the newly renovated room, the feeling is that it is a hotel for business travelers. A bit impersonal and boring.

The check-in staff is warm and friendly. Room spacious for two 26" luggages. Breakfast with good varieties of choices.

We arranged an airport taxi transfer through the hotel, but the checkout staff failed to inform us that the taxi had been waiting for 15 minutes despite our anxious inquiries (not due to language barrier. Native Swedish speakers in our group). A bit more empathy regarding the guest's need to catch the flight on time would elevate the experience to a perfect 10 out of 10..

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely awesome 😀

There were two issues which put a slight ‘downer’ on our stay. Upon arrival I went to have a shower, but the shower gel bottle was completely empty. As we went out for the evening we went to put our valuables in the safe……NOT WORKING! Having reported these issues to reception, the shower gel was replenished the following day, but the safe was not even looked at, and didn’t work, for the duration of our stay!

Comfortable room with clean bathroom and thick pillows (finally!!) We slept very well. Decor of the lobby is also beautiful, particularly the modern fireplace. Polite receptionists.

Breakfast did not taste good and there was limited variety, there were also quite a few flies zooming around the food which was off-putting. Toilets in the lobby were not clean. We were also put in a room on the third floor that was right next to the pavement and roads, that did not feel safe for two female travellers.

We had a really good stay at Courtyard by Marriott. The staff were all really friendly, we upgraded our room and the room was really spacious and modern, the bathroom was amazing! Good, quality selection at breakfast with a wide variety of both hot and cold options available. Location was good, close to a Metro station, but far enough out of the immediate centre that the surrounding area was quiet.

Some minor defects with the maintenance of the room but really wasn't a problem. Would've liked slightly more decoration in the main part of the room but that's probably quite a Scandinavian way of decorating.
