An amazing location, right in the middle of Umeå. The breakfast buffet was great and located in an open space with other interesting stores and cafes, including the very modern Umeå library. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I had to get an early train, and the staff prepared a generous breakfast bag for me that included coffee, which was greatly appreciated.

It would have been nice to be able to make coffee in the room.

The hotel is located in the city centre, which is a great advantage. I really appreciated the breakfast which was great. The style of the hotel is a bit old fashioned but it is very cozy. The staff is very helpful.

The bed could be wider. The shutters wouldn't close completely, so the light shines into the room all night - . Our room faced the street and you could hear loud music from the cars. I guess it's a habit, driving around town in the night with the volume at the highest level.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The curtains worked well against the almost perpetual daylight, so sleeping was not a problem. We had to leave early to catch a train, and they volunteered to give us a take-away breakfast, which was ready when we checked out. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and we lucked on a really nice restaurant.

The decor of the hotel is a little strange - not offensive, just peculiar. Gothic is not quite the right word, but very dark. Not a problem at all really, just different.

The hotel is very very nice. It has a particular decor, a pleasure for the eyes! Everything is comfortable. The breakfast space is large and varied.

I was asked to pay the entire stay (5 nights) at my arrival, even before checking the room. At the departure, I asked a box instead of the breakfast (which starts at 7 and I had to leave before). I was asked to chose between tea and coffee but I only found a yogurt and a sandwich.

Location was perfect, although parking was a bit challenging. Breakfast was excellent although a bit noisy and crowded, still worked out well; I was happy about gluten-free selection and my husband very happy about his oats porridge. Beds were comfy and the bed linens and towels good quality. Very friendly staff.

The gothic style of the interior decoration probably divides opinions; it is a mix of Addams family and Pirates of the Caribbean. To our taste it was too gloomy and dark. In the attick room we only had a very small window, which made the room even darker.

Very comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children. Great view of the river from our room. Interesting style. Big bathroom. We enjoyed the soap / shampoo. Good location for walking through the city and for getting to the airport. Excellent breakfast!

We stayed on a Friday night, and we could hear the music from the neighboring club well into the night.

The hotel has a very interesting interior design concept and definitely stands out from the usual mainstream hotels. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast is really good with a variety of options. The hotel is located at the town's main square, a few minutes walk from the airport bus station.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in a very long time. One of those rare occasions where everything just works, from perfect water pressure and hot water in the shower, good storage space in the room, comfortable room temperature, excellent bed, sufficient power sockets for charging devices, a really good hair dryer (very rare for hotels!), excellent breakfast and dinner restaurant, and all of it topped off with really kind staff which was incredibly service minded, smiling, and helpful. There’s no fridge or water cooker in the room so we had a cooker and ice buckets brought to the room and it was offered with great and genuine smiles.

The colors/design is a bit dark so from first look at photos online, it looked a bit gloom. But impression in real life is really nice

Perfect location in the very heart of Umeå! A quick walk from the train station and the main bus station. The hotel is part of a larger building with several restaurants, a library, and even a movie theatre. The room was clean and stylish and comfortable. The breakfast was great with lots of selections.

very nice staff and great interior design! had a beautiful big room!

the bathroom was very cold and not connected to the heating so there was no qay to heat it up. the lamps gave very bad lighting. it was nearly impossible to do make up in any room as no mirror was close to a window and had bright lights right above it. Bigger tv would also be nice.
