View is superb from room. Eating area inside and out is nice. Getting to location was very easy by bus (free) from station. Rooms felt premium and 'Swiss' (as opposed to many generic hotels) as well as little touches like the blankets for chairs and table outside. Communication from Schoenegg was good before we arrived. Owners/staff were helpful, friendly and multilingual (Swiss, french, English) Breakfast was good with a range of options (cold hardboiled eggs, toast, spreads, yoghurt, fresh fruit, trailmix, meats and cheeses, juices, tea, coffee) Ability to wash and dry clothes for 10€ Location is quiet at night.

Asking for an arrival time 4 months from day of check in (September) is unrealistic and although we accidentally arrived within 1/2 hr of our indicated time we still had to wait to check in anyway (unattended, pressing the from door button) Our room was unexplainably very hot the last night with the only way of cooling the room opening the window, but the windows don't lock/latch open or create a lot of airflow anyway (this is a problem common to any hotel/closed room) Shower curtain feels a bit cheap, and inconvenient for the stall size (as opposed to solid glass.

This accommodation is a B&B,located a short bus trip from central Interlaken. Our room had stunning views. There were 7 of us, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment & large family room. Our lovely host met us upon arrival to ensure we would settle in well and to give us the free 3 day bus passes. Breakfast had plenty of options, & included local fresh produce. It was delicious, and staff were very attentive and friendly. The dining area also has beautiful views.There is a nearby restaurant. However, since we were so close to Interlaken Central, we visited one of the many options there. We were able to purchase takeaway food in Interlaken, and there is a big supermarket too. Guesrs may use the dining area for tea or coffee or to eat any takeaway food. We felt very welcome and were looked after kindly by our host. We highly recommend Gasthof Schoenegg. This guesthouse is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable. We are a family of five and were accomodated with ample space and comfort. The family room we received had a kitchen and dining area which we often used. The guesthouse has an amazing veranda which overlooks Interlaken and the river. We used that every evening for dinner. The breakfast served is incredible, consists of great options for everyone and has local produce such as yoghurts, cheeses etc. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were super impressed with everything. The description was very precise and we received everything as expected.

Location, views from room, clean bright comfortable and beautiful and safe property stayed with my parents for 2 nights and it’s located near to Interlaken Ost very close to train station just 5-7 mins by bus and easy to navigate and explore near by places. Happy to visit again and recommend to all

Nothing as such but some suggestions for improvement 1. Breakfast can be improved by added some more bread options scrumbled eggs 2. Staff can be bit more polite and helpful 3. If someone needs something like tooth brush or something should be given for once so that we have opportunity to buy the next day 4. More snacks can be provided with coffee during the not chocolaty

The loveliest b&b, traditional and with everything you could need for your stay. We had the apartment for our family of 5 and it was wonderful, exceptionally clean with our beds and everything refreshed daily. Staff are so considerate, closing our shutters while we were out so that the apartment wasnt too warm when we return. They go the extra mile! They even had socket adapters we could borrow when our own wouldnt work. Apartment had a hob, fridge and sink and a microwave upstairs in main lobby for your use which was very helpf having a baby and small kids. Fabulous continental breakfast every morning, and on our last day they made us a wonderful packed lunch to take with us as we werent going to be there for breakfast. Central location to interlaken, brienz but car or taxi would be essential to drive to these places. We loved it, definitely would recommend and honestly couldnt fault a thing. A fabulous stay for our first trip to Switzerland. Thank you.

It’s a very good value for money proposition along with breathtaking views available from the property. Would appreciate their staff for cleanliness. It’s located at a very convenient location from bus stop with bus running every 30 mins to and fro interlaken ost. It gives a perfect experience of a Swiss chalet with a calm neighbourhood with surreal location. They have taken care of each aspect of stay with everything available in rooms along with fans and they have elaborated everything pretty well in form of instructions charts.

They need a reorganisation of rooms with respect to a small family as they have separate washrooms. We as a couple and with an infant got two rooms in order to have independent washroom. So one room was practically not of any use.

The family room we stayed in had a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. The location was perfect, being only a short 4-minute drive to Interlaken town centre. The option for self check-in if arriving after 17.30 was very convenient. The staff at the property were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The continental breakfast provided a great selection. Having a fully equipped small kitchen in the family room was a bonus, as it allowed us to cook our own dinner during our stay. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional and we were pleased with the daily housekeeping service. The availability of toiletries and adaptors upon request was also a nice added touch. Overall, we had a great experience at your property and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you for providing such an enjoyable stay for us.

There was one minor issue that we wanted to bring to your attention. We found that the bed and pillows in our room were very soft, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable for us.

Breakfast was very good, especially the coffee, prepared individually for each guest! Good variety of items that come in small containers. Can have a pleasant breakfast out in the verandah with a great view of Interlaken Ost and the mountains. The water pressure from the shower was impressive - like having a body massage!

The location is served by a half hourly bus service from Interlaken Ost but that was not a problem for me. The ride one-way is only about 7 minutes. Being an old building, notice occasionally some creaking noises when guests access the main door leading to the area I was in.

The views from the room were gorgeous as it was located on a hill overlooking the mountains and river. The breakfast included a wide variety of options, and we always had a full belly before leaving to explore Interlaken and the surrounding regions. There's a washing and drying machine for $10 Francs which was convenient as we needed to wash our clothes from the previous trip. The microwave downstairs was also good for heating/ cooking instant noodles for supper. There's also snacks available throughout the day which is nice bonus.

The property is located in the nearby town of Interlaken so we had to take a 5-minute bus ride from the train station every time to get back, but this wasn't a big issue. The shower was a little small and water will spill onto the floor sometimes. The young female staff was very friendly and helpful despite communicating in English was a little difficult sometimes.
