Super Friendly and welcome service Staff, location is great 👍 Comfortable room , good view from Mountain and trian Station. I feel very comfortable there, I will definitely go back to stay again. Thank you for providing a good vacation experience.

Lovely room, spacious and nicely decorated with more character than most hotels. We didn’t use the shared facilities but they looked similarly inviting and comfortable. All the staff were friendly, responsive and remembered us. We travelled with a dog and this was the first time we had been welcomed with treats for him, and food and water bowls provided. We were able to have breakfast in the room, which was convenient for us, as was the late checkout that I was able to add to my booking. The location was even better than I expected - right next to the train station but with no train noise at all. Several highly rated cafes/restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and walking distance from the high street, castle, etc. My aim in choosing this hotel was a comfortable, stress-free trip where we could both relax in the hotel and easily visit other places by train, and it delivered on all fronts.

The bathroom was not especially well designed - the screen on the bath was far too small to stop the whole room from getting wet, and the faucet was hard to reach and too powerful, and too high for a young child. The TV also didn’t seem to offer many channels or offer an easy way to connect to a phone or log in to a streaming service. It was fairly pricey, particularly with the supplement for the dog, which was more than in any other hotel I’ve stayed at with a pet. But for us it was worth it for the comfort and convenience.

Our stay was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. Marc, the front office manager was exceptional, greeting us with genuine warmth and a welcome drink. He also secured us a beautiful room on an upper floor. The breakfast was generous and the personnel throughout the hotel were consistently attentive and friendly. They also surprised my partner with a delightful little cake and a candle on his birthday. Furthermore we were grateful for the excellent restaurant recommendations. We took their advice and dined at one of the suggested establishments and had a great experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly memorable stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the new railway station and a 10 minute walk into the old part of town. The staff were very welcoming right from the start in a very relaxed but still professional manner. Whenever you met staff around the hotel they were always polite, said "hi" and wanted to know if everything was OK. The room was compact but of sufficient size for a short stay, especially the bathroom and walk in shower. The mini bar was checked and stocked each day as needed and housekeeping always c;leaned however late the room was left empty. We did not try the buffet breakfast but there was a variety of restuarants cafes within a 5 minute walk including a Chinese all you can eat buffet.

Whilst the location is great. the hotel is not easy to find the first time as the outside doors are not well signposted, and like other reviewers, I had to ask someone. Not really a negative, more a small challenge :)

Check in was fast and very gentle/ friendly. The hotel is new and well located on the second floor of a shopping (pharmacy, a small market, cheese and wine store, etc); room was very clean and well decorated, shower is excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good and tasty (salmon, cheese, etc). I chose The Hotel D because of the garage and the proximity to Gruyeres but the experience overall was very good! The train station is beside but you can not hear anything from there, zero noise. The Bulle center is very close and cute with little restaurants (it is not necessary to use a car).

The size of the room is on the limit for 2 women. I received by whatssap a msg explaining the entrance of the garage one month before my arrival and I could not find it at the time. It is easy but tricky, not exactly where Google maps shows the adress of the hotel. We left the car on a paking lot very close and asked the reception directions.

Very cute design, the room was big, furniture looked new, staff was very friendly and efficient. High chairs for baby during breakfast. Complimentary tea in the lobby. The hotel is conveniently located near the train satiation and the parking is spacious. There is a coffee shop, restaurants and a big supermarket nearby.

The minibar was very dusty and the shower was a bit smelly. Also it was hot in the room - up to 25 degrees. If you open the windows, it’s noisy, and if you close it - it’s hot. You can adjust the AC, but only for 3 degrees which wasn’t enough.

Difficult to find initially no signage. It is actually right next to the train station in a mall. Mall is convenient with shops, restaurants and a very nice food store Milagros.

Parking garage was not easily located but a kind security guard went with my husband and showed him where it was . It does eventually come up right below the hotel and you can take an elevator right up to your floor. Rooms have no drawers or closets so we upgraded but had to put everything on the couch or you actually live out of your suitcase.

Brand new hotel with delightful furnishings, very stylish and extremely comfortable, lovely colour tones in the rooms and bar. Great bed and bedding, big shower, a novelty in Europe often. The welcome we received from Marc was the best we’ve ever received, he was so warm and friendly, and continued to be as we saw him later. He is a true credit to the hotel. Close to a supermarket and restaurants, very convenient.

Nothing really, the parking is a bit tricky to find if you’re not local, but the hotel sends good info regarding this and if you follow that, it is fine.

They gave us a free upgrade. This is a very good 4 Star hotel and it made feel like we are in a Five-star hotel. The staff were very welcoming very hard-working, very polite, and going out of the way to help us in every single way. Nice firm Big Double Bed Great Breakfast….. which started early around 6:30 AM which was great compared to other hotels which would start only at around 8 or 9 AM……. Check out was 12 PM which was another plus point but we didn’t wait that long. We left by 10 AM. It was just too good in all ways and we will definitely return again .

A perfect overnight stay on a transit journey. After reading reviews I was slightly worried about finding the parking. But it was super easy for us. And the parking is big with some dedicated places for hotel guests right after entrance. The were a lot of restaurants to choose from for dinner. The staff was efficient and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable rooms, pretty big too. The hotel is close to the train station but it was super quiet. You do not hear the trains at all. We will stay again.
