The hotel is well situated, not far from Jakobshornbahn and an easy 10 min bus ride from the Parsennbahn. By Jakoshornbahn is also the train station where a free (and very comfortable) train will take you in your ski gear through a beautiful valley to Klosters. Breakfast was a straightforward buffet but at a high standard comprising (from memory) a good coffee machine (Jura), croissants, breads, cheeses, eggs (pre-boiled or self-boil), fruit juice. The restaurant is limited to a single option – a fondue chinoise – which was nice but we felt a bit overpriced for what it was. There are many restaurants in Davos Platz a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel has a decent selection of wines. Rooms are comfortable but quite small. We were perfectly happy but a bit more space would have been nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly and the young lady manning the hotel during our stay was exceptional in her manner, attitude, efficiency and ability to help.

A clean and welcoming hotel with a personal touch from the owners throughout. I especially enjoyed the comfy bed and the heavy fluffy blanket - I slept like a baby both nights we stayed there. The breakfast was fresh and very enjoyable, delicious coffee. The congress center is 3 bus stops (6min) away, the bus stop is just 100m down the street from the hotel. All in all, a very good experience. 👌

We drove 4,5h to Davos and experienced some unexpected delays on the way, which led us to arrive after 10pm. Even though we informed the hotel beforehand, we had to pay a 50chf "late check-in fee". I've never experienced that in other hotels.

Everything that was advertised was exactly as we found it. No surprises. The facilities and the staff are excellent, attentive and this hotel adds great value for you money spent. The location is also superb. I highly highly recommend this hotel above and beyond the big brand names in Davos, it’s more personalised, quite relaxing, quiet, and really a place to stay for a vacation where you come home feeling well rested.

This hotel is a very personal expression of its owners, and I thought it was beautifully organized without being pretentious. The friendliness of all personnel was immediate. The breakfast was excellent, and featured gourmet teas for me, a tea drinker. There was a very nice tranquil veranda where we could sit in the afternoon and enjoy either our own snacks, or classic cocktails from the owner. The owners are artists, and the entire hotel was populated with their beautiful artworks. An excellent stay for 5 nights!

I cannot think of anything that these fine people could have done to make our stay more comfortable or enjoyable.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Very well located - just a short walk to the bus stop and a slightly longer one to the railway station.

I was not warned in advance of how much I would be charged on checkout for a breakage in my room. An invoice would have been appreciated

Independent hotel that really care - very friendly team, very clean and comfortable rooms, very comfortable beds, quiet and excellent location near Davos Postplatz bus stop. Great breakfast sets you up for a great day’s skiing. Convenient ski room with separate access.

There’s no lift but that wasn’t a problem.

I really liked that this was a smaller and more personal hotel. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast had all the essentials. The room was warm and clean. I would like to stay there in the future.

Very nice and clean room, exceptionally friendly staff, superb location and very good value for money.

The whole electronic management of lighting was a bit cumbersome and the blue light annoying, especially if you went to the toilet at night.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, location was really good next to train station (in case you wanted to arrive by train), adjacent to one of the two main Davos ski lifts (5mins walk), with walkable access to many shops, bars and restaurants.

Room was very very small for a single occupancy with a strictly single bed. I would rate breakfast as very basic without any cooked food other than the option to boil your eggs (options included cheese, ham, eggs to be boiled, small bowl of fruits, breads and jams, cereals, yogurts and coffee). Breakfast would have benefitted from a bread toaster, some cooked food i.e. scrambled eggs and bacon, and finally some better options of local cakes or Swiss delicacies. Hotel only has 3 parking spaces available on the property however you get access to an indoor public parking space 5mins walk away. Also should note that the property does not benefit from a lift which could be limiting for people with mobility difficulties

I always love to return to the arthaus HOTEL, staff are excellent, extremely friendly and very helpful! Even new staff are wonderfully effective, friendly and efficient, so you know the owners really care about ensuring a high quality experience.

As it is a small hotel, there is no room service. But there is a fantastic takeaway and two and a coops at the bottom of the hill
