We were greeted at the Hotel Alpina by an efficient and courteous reception team, and experienced excellent customer service from all departments throughout our stay. The Oxalis restaurant exceeded our expectations and the Chef was very accommodating at tweaking the half-board set menu to suit family allergies. The menu is available in reception each afternoon to review ahead of the evening sitting. Every dish was beautifully presented and made for a fine dining experience; the selection of desserts and cheeses was also exceptional. The Breakfast buffet was extensive and we were spoilt for choice. The restaurant staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Our family suite was spacious comprising 2 rooms with an interconnecting door and a shared entrance, bathroom and balcony. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a separate coat rack at the entrance of the suite. Large radiators in both rooms and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The Housekeeping service was excellent. We had chosen the hotel due to it's location and restaurant reviews. The Spa had not been a key factor, but turned out to be one of the highlights. The pool area and jacuzzi area was popular with families, and a separate adults (plus supervised children > 12 yrs) area comprising a pool incorporating specific water-massage zones; a shower trio of cold, mist and warm showers; an ice fountain and hammam were a treat. The upstairs sauna and relaxation room were also welcome finds. The hotel has a relaxing Bar area with a selection of large comfortable sofas, armchairs and coffee tables. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and was enjoyed by individuals, couples, and groups alike whether playing board or card games, reading or socialising. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alpina and would definitely return. Highly recommended.

A comfortable warm room, with a spacious bed and nice bathroom. The staff were very welcoming on arrival - the hotel has a very friendly atmosphere.

As I was in the room a lot to get some work done, it would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room for tea or coffee making. But, if I had been there for skiing, or other sports, not so important. As it was, I managed some road cycling, and it was a nice place to come back too. I wish I had had time to use the spa and pool more!

Everything was amazing: food was fantastic, the service friendly and professional, spa facilities very much appreciated after a day on the slopes. Location is good too - 5 minute walk into the centre. Or, a 1 minute walk up the hill (and down at the end of the day) for ski out/in.

I'm struggling to think of something we didn't like... so I'm not going to force it.

The SPA was small, but great! The staff was really nice and helpful. The restaurant had a good choice of 0,375 wines. Parking was available as well as closet for skis. If you have the skis you can hit the slopes / return to hotel from slopes ~30 metres away from hotel entrance which is a really good perk once your boots are on :)

If you're with kids and plan to have dinner at the hotel, double-check the menu or be prepared for no pasta scenario. Me and my wife liked the food, but my kid would've preferred something simpler. Not critique by any means, but something to be aware of for parents. Sometimes kids just want pasta, especially after a day at the slopes :)

The staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was a problem. The food was truly special. We looked forward to every meal. very accommodating so the children were happy too. Breakfast exceptional also. Family friendly , close to ski school, ski hire, & pistes. A perfect stay.

It would be unfair to say I didn’t like anything. It was such a lovely place to stay.

A very nice, pleasant room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a superb walk-in shower. Great value for money - I would have expected to pay more for the general standard of the hotel, the facilities (pool and sauna) and for the quality of the room.

The dining room doesn't lend itself to an easy environment for a breakfast buffet.

We had a Junior Suite for a family of 5 it was very spacious with 2 bathrooms (we were there in the summer but I imagine it's a real plus to have this space and the extra bathroom in the winter). Very comfortable beds, clean rooms and nice decor (probably recently updated), balcony had nice views. The pool is a bit dated but the Sauna it new, large and very nice (I can imagine in the winter the pool must get a bit crowded as its not so big). Amazing breakfast and dinner (good raclettes/fondues but also very well prepared Plat du Jour, so you have a choice). Restaurant is a bit "chic" and service very friendly. We could park on site, and there is a bike/ski room. Location is perfect, 5 mins walk from the centre. All the staff was super nice, we had a great Mountain Biking family week-end in Les Gets, we had checked other fancy hotels in the area, but this was an incredible value for money no regrets we stayed in Alpina.

While the whole hotel is very nicely decorated, only the pool feels a bit dated.

Location was close to the slopes and village. Staff were very accommodating. Great views from the rooms. Spa and swimming pool very modern. Would highly recommend.

Room was sufficiently spacious and had good amenities but look a little old now from a decoration point of view.

Decent size room for the location. Hotel and room was clean, but the best part was the SPA, which was very clean, modern and big for a hotel this small.

Breakfast was subpar, a lot of bread and cheese but not vegetables and no fruit.
