The Rebstock suited us perfectly for a one night stopover on the Via Alpini. The room was very quiet on the back side of the hotel and clean. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean. After reading some other reviews, we think people confused old style with unclean. Yes, the hotel was a little dated but great value for money in a perfect location.

Our only complaint was that there was no signage on the front door to indicate that the reception was around the back so we waited at the tables out the front waiting for reception to open for some time before someone waved us around the corner.

Excellent location on the main road near facilities. Generally, good value for a private room for a solo traveler. Appreciate the thoughtful room allocation by the young owner for my 5 nights’ stay. It makes a difference. Helpful and friendly staff. The shared bath and toilet are clean.

Basic but you can borrow kettle etc from the hotel. Furniture is rather old. It’s next to main road so expect noise from vehicles.

they didnt provide any oven or service to heat our food there. as we are travelling from other country, we packed some ready to eat food but not able to make ot bcs of it.

Excellent location. The staff and owner were easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room and shared facilities were very clean. The view from the view was stunning. You have a good view of the Schwarzhorn, with the Reichenbach Falls in the distance.

For the price, the hotel met my expectations fully. No complaints.

Ideally located on one of the main streets,Hotel Rebstock is a short walk to all of Meiringen’s facilities & attractions. There was secure bike storage for my precious steed. Although a little dated,the room was clean,and the bed was comfortable.

A slight mouldy smell was present.

Such a comfortable stay and a great location to spend a few days seeing the best parts of Switzerland! The staff were so helpful and even gave me an ice pack for my knee after a hard hike. The room was very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The patio with a waterfall view was a bonus!

The bathroomshare scared me, but there lot of bathrooms, showers and toilets, and bathtube too. More Tthan enough! The stuff are flexibile kind and gentle too. I was satisfied. Try it for yourself! Extremly clear! And ön top of all that there are feather quilt and pillow.

Excellent little hotel, situated in the middle of Meiringen, surrounded by restaurants and with public transport practically on the doorstep. Very friendly staff, and a large room with plenty of natural lighting.

Breakfast choices were not great.

Clean room with a comfortable bed in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant downstairs smelled wonderful, but I didn’t have a chance to try it.

It was pretty hot during my stay and there was no fan. The room only had one outlet.

No toilet paper in the 2nd floor gemeinsam toilette at 2300! A bit late for calling for more! Sunglasses, receipts from late April found in cupboard! Quite basic
