I had a wonderful stay. The building, the garden and the restaurant have a charm The perfect combination of an old era and a new one. The room was very comfortable. A unique light from the windows. The view of the city and the forest is magical. Quiet . The lighting is ideal to calm you down. The interior made you feel at home, with style and soft lines. I want to go into detail about cleanliness Perhaps the cleanest hotel I have traveled to. The common areas smelled of lavender and the room was obsessively bright. The hotel staff is genuinely welcoming. The people there showed you personal interest. The location is ideal. Breakfast in the lovely garden is a very beautiful experience Of course I honored the desserts every day since they were so fresh and delicious.

Have been there a second time with the same review. Great place for a quick night over, very conveniently located, spotlessly clean, and very friendly and attentive staff members, and good breakfast, facilities and parking on site. In short: Everything you need, nothing you don't

Nothing, but some of the rooms, due to the change from campus to hotel, have big conduits running over the floor. Funny, look, no minimisation of any comfort or something, just a simple visual item that may look funky on second floor rooms

The hotel is in a convenient location to the highway, city, and park. It is incredibly clean and has incredibly friendly staff members. Spotless clean Great breakfast Plenty of parking Silent environment Park literally out of the hotel door Friendly staff members and, for an Ozzie living now in Switzerland, pretty good coffee

No TV ;-) Which can actually be an advantage

the building, the restoration (from a militar kantine to a nice hotel), rooms (with some furniture from the period), the big bar at the ground floor, the super nice terrace gravel floored... bathrooms superb

Its 10 minutes walking from the station... its nice, not in the very-centre, but this lets you have easy parking & nice big terrace... not perfect... nothing is perfect

This is a lovely property in a beautiful, convenient setting. The breakfast, available for an additional CHF 15, was fantastic and made to order. I have dietary restrictions and the kitchen was very accommodating, even giving me feta cheese instead of the usual varieties.

I found the bed way too hard and the lack of a fridge was problematic since I had items that required refrigeration. I also found it inconvenient that the room had no kettle, and I brought my own.

Architectural heritage, well maintained, true to its origins, comfortable, spacious, kind staff!

It may be out of the old time… but is this really a downside? I wonder!

This property is very unique and charming. The grounds and the area are very nice. There is a good parking and staff are friendly. The best part is the restaurant in which the food was delicious.

The pillow in the bed is far too thin and not confortable.

Very nice staff, good breakfast, interesting hotel architecture and interior design - minimalistic and a bit retro. Super clean.

Pillow was completely flat, almost like sleeping without the pillow at all.

The property was clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful kitchen bar area that was open most nights late and on at least 2 occasions were very happy spending the night there instead of wandering into town.

It may not be in the city center which may be an issue if a traveler feels they need to be closer (less than 10 minutes walk to the train) but a short walk and it was nice actually to be located where we were. I would definitely stay here again.
