Room was clean, and had all the basics covered - chair to relax, separate desk and chair, plenty of space for suitecases and clothes, etc. Bed was comfortable. Staff (from across the street) was nice. They are quite patient considering how many times they have to help with the self check-in process (see below).

It was broken when I got there and after almost 30 minutes of trying to check in and then waiting for them to fix it, I eventually had to complete the process across the street. In a two day stay, almost every time I saw someone trying to check in, they were either having problems or actively being helped by a member of the hotel staff. Read the other reviews. I cannot state strongly enough how badly the self check-in process works. It's a shame, because otherwise the hotel was a good choice and we were quite happy with it. It's expensive, but in-line with Swiss prices and cheaper than many other options in St. Gallen.

We were travelling around Switzerland by train and this hotel was a good choice for us thanks to its close location to the train station. Our first staying in a self check-in hotel and we were satisfied with the process. The room was clean and very spacious.

Maybe it would be nice if there would be some lockers for the suitcases, where we can leave our bags before check-in time or after check-out.

Check-in process was simple and straightforward. Room was well-equipped and was cleaned while I was away for the day. Hotel is in a great location just a 5 minute walk from the main train station.

Price was very expensive for what the hotel was, however this is normal for Switzerland.

The amount on my credit card was booked twice. One booking will be released eventually, but it blocked the amount in CHF I planned for other expenses.

The location to the station and all the sights of the city was perfect. The room was quite spacious for what I paid and had everything I needed and more.

The check in machine wasn't perfect for others (worked ok for me) and constantly ran out of battery. It was off when I came to check out so I just had to leave my card.

The check in was kind of slow. Only had one machine to do it and there were other people so we had to wait quite a while only to be told by the machine that we has to wait 6 minutes to complete check in.

Great location with free parking on the street on weekends. Little terrace under trees to enjoy a refreshment on open air. Easy checkin with help of hotel across the street. Perfectly clean and quiet room.

Had a hicckup with the self-checkin machine but everything was quickly and seamlessly resolved with phone instruction to seek assistance at hotel across the street with very pleasant staff

Convenient location. Clean rooms with TV and coffee machine. Communal fridge to store our food on the ground floor and quiet seating area outsite.

Staff - really the main reason why going here. Always willing to help and very kind. Rooms are quite large and clean with lots of light.

We were at the last floor, the only floor without elevator. To be honest the room fee was lower so It was more than ok.
