The property has an amazing location! I never spent more time on the balcony as I spent here. Always get the lake view as it is worth it! Spacious room and bathroom. Indoor parking facility with opportunity to charge the EV car for free ( just ask reception) very good quality breakfast! Very fit to travel with a dog with parks around to walk

The outdoor look of the building is not what you expect to see by the shared pictures. It is a very large block of flats within where there is also part of it the hotel. The vibe is basic and if there would not be the view and parking I would not rate it as I do The reception is sadly until 5 pm and the lack of staff to talk with is something you will notice - having the reception being available longer hours would make this place better

The staff was friendly and professional. They assisted us with our needs without making us feel uncomfortable. The property was clean, comfortable and had the necessary amenities for our one night stay. The lake front rooms have amazing views and we used the balcony to gather together. It has a wonderful roof top eating area or just to take in the views. It was an easy walk down hill to get to a lovely park with benches to further enjoy the view or several restaurants to eat. There is also a full service grocery store located directly across the street to grab food for breakfast or snacks. Everyone in our family ranked this hotel high when evaluating our two tour through Switzerland.

It is a 25 minute drive to downtown Lucerne but I believe there is a ferry to take back and forth. We never used it so cant be certain.

Fantastic location near lake Lucerne, situated in a small but vibrant town, which allows you to soak in the atmosphere of the alps and provide a good jumping off point for future adventures. The room was well stocked, including an English man's favourite, the kettle. The breakfast buffet has a good selection while the hotel itself has a swimming pool and sauna (extra cost). Their restaurant, while a little bit pricey and having a limited selection, was tasty as well. Never known such a hands-off hotel, if I didn't venture into the restaurant, I doubt I would have seen any staff at all. Parking seemed like a non-issue currently, maybe in summer it would be harder to get spaces, but then maybe they would allow access to the underground parking.

The curtains were too small for the window, and a few loose hairs on the pillow far too long to be my own.

Nice clean and modern room with good facilities. outstanding views to the lake and mountains from own private balcony (view and balcony are more expensive though, also other rooms facing the town side and without balcony). pet friendly and private parking (option to stay in or out).

no remarks really. we had two rooms and we were first booked on different floors, but staff was able to book us to rooms next to each other when we asked for it. reception is open only on limited times, but then you will always have the staff from restaurant so definitely not an issue.

Fantastic room with balcony providing beautiful views across Lake Lucerne to the mountains. Very nice dining area and terrace offering the same views. Pleasant and helpful staff and quiet.

These are small things - breakfast was good although no English breakfast tea and chairs on the balcony not that comfortable to relax in and enjoy the views!

The room was lovely. We were offered an upgrade with view of the lake and it was one of the most relaxing stays we have had. Rooms seemed to be newly decorated in a Alpen Chic style. Beds were very comfortable. So quiet and peaceful. Had a lovely meal in their restaurant. Really tasteful and good quality

Wow..... what a spectacular location. We were blown away!!! The room was great, bed was comfy, ensuite shower... plenty big enough. All was clean. Restaurant was yum and the waite stuff were terrific.

Coming from Australia, the cooling was a miss. But I do understand, taking into account that predominantly this a cooler climate destination. Bit warm, but that didn't spoil our experience.... loved it

Excellent views of the lake. It is a pleasure to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery (mountains, lake, boats) . The room is big enough. The bed is comfortable. Value for money if you are going to stay for a night or two

The bathroom is old and dark. All the furniture in the room and on the balcony are worn out. The facility needs renovation and better management.

Amazing staff. The family that runs the hotel are very polite , open , and generous people. Location is amazing. Hotel is a jewel inside (very nicely decorated). We got a free upgrade to a superior room with lake view. Lake view is unbelievable.

View- amazing; room- modern, well designed and very nice, location- great; transport- ferry -10min walk, bus stop - at the hotel; attractions- a lot around!!! Highly recommended!!!! Great and various type of bread for breakfast!

Breakfast- eggs for self service! Don’t work! A lot of waste with not done eggs!! Balcony chairs very not comfortable!!! No glass for soft drink like water or juice.
