Location was perfect.. parking was free (plus point) breakfast was really good staff were courteous.. they let me shifted to a bigger room

Parking was free but limited to a outside small parking lot where hardly 5-6 car can fit.. . if u return late hours u may not any spot available then u have to look and spend too much time looking for a free pakring spot around the streets of this hotel.... over night parking on strrets are free until 8am or 9am.. MICROWAVE & Fridge would be a Plus point if available inside room especially when u have small children with u.. size of tv is like 14" Deskptop monitor.. upgrade TV please

Very easy to reach from Zurich central station, you just need to ride 1 tram (no need to change tram or other transportation). The hotel has a small elevator, just enough for the suitcases and maybe 1 small person so we don't have to carry our suitcases all the way up by stairs.

They had serving desk only on the ground floor, next to the reception desk. It was okay if we stay on the first floor, but I think it would be a little uncomfortable for those who stay on the second floor or above to go downstairs every time we want to make a coffee/ tea/ warm our food

The hotel's breakfast was very sufficient. There were filling and delicious options. However, the only egg option was boiled eggs, so that could perhaps be improved. The location was excellent, you can reach the city center and the train station in 15 minutes with just one tram. The staff was amazing. On the morning of our third day, the lady who served breakfast learned how to say "good morning" in our language and greeted us that way—we were very surprised and happy. The employees were always very hospitable.

The only downside was that we noticed on the second day that our sheets hadn't been changed, the bed was just made up.

We have used the Neufeld on a number of times when in Zurich and it has been very consistent in the experience. Its a small hotel away from the city centre but with excellent bus and tram connections right outside, both to the city and up to the Uetliberg for the woods and city views. Rooms are over 3 floors and the lift is a tiny two person one but rooms are clean and the corner ones are spacious, as it must have been converted from apartments at some point. Beds are very comfortable and while the bathrooms are a little tight they are well equipped with good showers. Breakfast is an excellent spread with something for everyone and staff are very helpful. There's no bar or evening restaurant but there's plenty to access within easy reach. Its seems to be a busy spot too for both business and family visitors so that is generally a good sign.

We had a problem with the TV in the room and it took about three days for someone to work out how to get it back on track despite the best efforts of a couple of the reception staff. Everything else was as expected.

The location is very close to the transport station. The receptionists, restaurants in- charge, the cleaners are all friendly and approachable. The hotel price is reasonable. They even managed to move us to a room fit for three individuals. They rectified the mistake of my booking without charging us extra; except of coursw for the breakfast buffet which my 11- year old son enjoyed.

The location was convenient. The staff was ok, but they could be a little more welcoming and helpful. We loved the balcony but during the rain it was flooded and were worried that the water would go into our room.

The room had no fridge and for the coffee or tea I had to go down the lobby. Bathroom was super tiny. Under the beds there was lots of dust. Overall we were satisfied, but compering Neufeld to other hotels in Zurich, Lucern and Lugano, it was too expensive for what they offered..

The staff was great! All were very respectful, kind, and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an elevator as well. Breakfast was good.

The last 2 nights of my stay, I had very loud people above me. They were moving furniture at 3am. When I called reception, no one answered. No one is monitoring the phones. What happens if there's an emergency? Also, the room key opened the front door as well. After 9:30, the lobby door was locked. One night, I came in late, tried opening the door, and then it wouldn't close. There were no directions anywhere on what to do. I must've been there for 20 minutes waiting for the lobby door to close.

I stayed in a single room for one night and enjoyed it. The lady checking me in was friendly and the check-in experience went fast and smooth. Tourist/city tax was charged upon check-in (as stated during booking), but you can pay it in cash or by card, so it wasn't a problem. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked fast. There was also a TV, safe and hair dryer in the room. My booking also included breakfast and it was great! The selection for breakfast was rather standard – bread, cheese, sweet yoghurts – but everything tasted great and was of high quality. Freshly baked bread and Swiss cheese were the highlight of my morning! The hotel is located in a peaceful neighborhood, so it was quiet and I felt safe even at night. It is also very close to a public transport stop (3 min walking), so connecting to the city center was very easy. Alternatively, a walk to the train station takes just 30-40 min. It was also easy to get to Uetliberg from the hotel by public transportation with just one transfer.

The placement of power outlets in the room was a bit weird. I had one triple outlet above the bed on the wall, another one by the window, and one more by the door. I eventually found an extension cord under the table and unplugged the TV to charge my devices, because I didn't want to sleep tangled in cords or leave my phone and watch hanging on the chargers by the walls.

Having the property so close to the city center made everything very convenient for us. The staff were extremely friendly and polite, answering all our questions kindly. Our room was clean with a charming atmosphere. The balcony was also very pleasant. It exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable. This will definitely be a place we consider staying again when we visiting to Zurich.

Location was easily accessible by tram and bus. The neighbourhood was good. The hotel and amenities were clean. Breakfast was well. Besides, you can find free coffee and croissants all day long at the reception. We stayed in superior double rooms, facing the Goldbrunnenplatz, view was good and there was no traffic noise. I would certainly recommend it.
