Staying at this hotel was a one-of-a-kind experience! Gunther, the host, made me us completely at home. His warmth, friendliness, and genuine willingness to help were truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making my stay incredibly memorable. The hotel itself is like a living museum—every corner holds a special piece of art with beautiful, unique furniture and decor that tell their own stories. Walking through the hotel felt like exploring a carefully curated gallery, yet it remained cozy and welcoming. If you're looking for a place that's not just a stay but an experience, this is it. I can't recommend it enough for anyone who appreciates charm, character, and outstanding hospitality!

Arne who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly. He saw us approaching and came outside to help us carry in our bags, told us everything we might want to know about the property and how to travel around, and then came with us to our room to make sure we knew how to use the remotes, coffee pot, TV, etc. Location is great - about a 1-2 minute walk to the AU ZH train station. It's a quiet little town. I didn't realize it was "outside" of Zurich when I booked, but the locals said they never get Zurich tourists there. It was about a 20 minute train ride to Zurich, but for the price and convenience, I think it's a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it!
Nothing - just be aware of the location when you book.

The staff was so helpful and so kind. The hotel wasn’t your usual type of hotel, it was better. The art work, decor, cleanliness, and friendliness made you feel like you were at a home away from home. Breakfast was my favorite part of the day. Gorin (I believe that’s how you spell his name) did everything he could to make you happy while enjoying breakfast and he makes the best cappuccino.
I wish I had a few more pillows while sleeping, but no big deal.

Concept of this place is unusual, hotel in a design shop. As you move around the building, you are surrounded by beautiful designers pieces in very natural way, everything you see, you can buy. My room was beautiful and had a garden view which was charming. I specifically loved the breakfast room, stunning. Special credit goes to all stuff, everyone I met was wonderful and very sweet. They even surprised me with extra creative packaging of and item I bought, when I mentioned I buy it as a present for my friends birthday. I didnt have a chance to thank the young man, who made it, so perhaps he will read it here. Thank you!

This hotel is absolutely unique in defferent ways. Excellent and, in addition, very good value for money and location. The rooms are big and beautiful. You will sure enjoy the interiors. The people in the house are amazing, very nice, friendly and helpful. You will feel like close friends. Everywhere is absolutely clean. The breakfasts are rich, the food is almost too much and everything is absolutely fresh. The coffee is excellent. In the evening at the bar, anything you can think of. Wine, grappa, whiskey, beer... Everything... They even cooked us a great dinner in the evening (normally it's not part of the hotel's program). Around you there are many art objects, interior accessories and most of these things are also for sale. There is also a shoe boutique in the house. The surroundings are beautiful. otel is near a lake. There are three different restaurants nearby. You can get to the center by cheap train, or by taxi, or by water boat. The view from the room through the huge windows is magnificent. I had a large terrace next to the room (XaiXai) ... Simply amazing. I'll be back there as soon as possible.
Everything is perfect

The place is very unique and exceptional. The manager Arne is extremely friendly, helpful and can’t do enough for you. We arrived earlier than expected and our room was not ready so he made us feel very welcome with complimentary coffees and teas. He gave us advice on places to visit and a personal tour of the shop and it should have been his day off. Sven looked after us every morning for Breakfast, which was always freshly made according to our order and we got to hear some interesting stories from him. Overall an amazing base to explore the Zurich area and if we could rate Arne, his team and the hotel any higher we would. Thank you for looking after us and making our stay so comfortable.

Great quirky accommodation, very spacious, clean and very homely. great for traveling with adult children without the need to purchase a second room. Arne was very helpful and obliging. Great place to stay when you have a rental car, parking on the premises made it very easy.
The property was a little out of town, which wasn’t a bother to us as we had a rental vehicle, if you don’t have a vehicle do your research as to what you plan to do whilst in Zurich.

We stayed in the Coco Chanel room, each room is themed and the furnishings are styled to the theme. The room was large and stylish (furnishing are all from the concept store which is spread over the first two floors of the hotel), the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom very nicely designed. The parking was easy and with plenty of connections into Zürich (train station right across the road, buses also available too). Even though it is located by a large road and train station, it was relatively quiet duringnth evenings. Great place to stay if you need to be in the Horgen/Wädenswil area.
Shower drainage wasn't great but that was only minor.

Excellent staff. The room was large, unique, clean, and comfortable. Lake and walking trails are a few minutes walk away. Train station and grocery store are close as well. A/C provided and needed for the hot summer days. Easy free parking out front. Highly recommend this hotel bed and breakfast.
One of the beds was a bit firm for what we prefer.

Arne was such an incredible host!!! Like whenever we think of your boutique hotel moving forward, we will first think of him. He gave us a tour of the property and he was so friendly and he gave us a lot of advice and answered our questions.
It was nice having a quiet neighborhood away from the city, but could have been more exciting to be a little closer to Zürich.
