Quiet location outside of Zürich, but still easily reachable (there’s a train every half an hour that takes you to Zürich main station in 14 minutes. You need to walk or take a bus to the station though, but the bus stop is right next to the hotel). Amazing lake view, small but decent breakfast, welcoming staff. Everything is nice and clean.

A mosquito net would be nice! I opened the window in the evening and got a whole zoo in my ceiling. Instructions about reaching the side door weren’t super clear. The walls are paper thin, I could hear people opening the door like they were opening mine, not theirs. Didn’t bother me, but might be a deal breaker for light sleepers.

A lovely hotel The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Meilen main station but there are buses also if you don’t want to walk . I had a room on the 3rd floor with a lake view. Both the room and view were fabulous , well worth getting the lake view I would say . The hotel and room was clean , comfortable and good value . Reception and breakfast staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast itself was really good ( everything you needed really ) . Quick train ride to Zurich and ongoing to airport. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and I preferred to say her than the city given how close it was to everything. excellent.

I like all servis of this hotel, special was nice breakfast, it's was amazing! And place very beautiful, specially beautiful Zürich lake! :) I planing come back to this hotel in December in this year for Christmas :)

My room was overlooking the street this time and it made it a little difficult to fall asleep because the noise of cars on the street was heard almost all night. But next time I hope to be able to book a room with a lake view :)

We like the beautiful location and the view from the lakeside room. Meilen gives a good access to Zurich city by both train and ferry. Our hotel of choice…

There was a mix-up with our booking through Booking .com but was completely resolved by the helpful staff.

Had a beautiful lake facing room, large and comfortable. The bathroom was very large too.

For the last 2 nights we had to move to a street facing room as there was no availability in lake view. We did know about this in advance. This room was tiny and literally half the size and the bed was smaller but same rate was charged. This is not acceptable. Left a slightly bitter taste in our mouths. We are returning guests, pensioners, and stayed for a total of 11 nights.

Received a room upgrade, which was very nice with a breathtaking view over the lake. Very friendly staff. Charming restaurant terrace with an amazing view.

The hotel has no parking, but one can find free spots nearby (white zones, few hours for free). The stairways to the hotel rooms outside of the main building (in the smaller annex on the left) essentially pass the open doors of the restaurant kitchen.

Beautiful building and room. Easy flat walk to the town centre, train and ferry. Fantastic breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and accomodating. Would 100% go back!

Room was a little warm but easy to open and windows and get fresh air. Can’t really say this is a complaint but if I was being picky this would be it. Can’t really fault the place.

- i had a lake view room and the view was magnificent. - people at the reception and breakfast were very kind. - breakfast on the terrace overlooking lake zurich. - mini fridge in the room. - nice smelling shower gel. - plenty of clothes hangers - plenty of clean towels and wash cloths. - very quiet area.

- location - although it is a very pretty area looking over lake zurich, it is a bit of a pain to go round since you have to get the bus to the train station (or walk 15 minutes) and then get another train. - breakfast was very good, but certainly looked nothing like the pictures. - no lift and i was on the third floor. close the windows at night because bugs come in - obviously at no fault of the property! - no kettle.

The location is amazing and the views are amazing! Breakfast was tasty and diverse. Staff was always helpful. The lobby has nice and cozy sitting places to work, eat or just enjoy the stunning lake view.

The rooms facing the street are not quite. There is no elevator and the hotel is a bit run down. The beds are too soft, water are not draining from the shower and the heaters are not always functioning.

Great location on the lake shore. The railway station is within easy walking distance. Great breakfast and a lovely restaurant. I had a seaview from my window. There was no traffic noise from what is a busy main road.

Unfortunately I was in the annex which meant I had to walk along the road to get to the main building. This is ok if the weather is good, but not in the rain.
