I stayed at the Royal Fine Hotel in Kaohsiung to relax and recharge, and it definitely served that purpose. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was spacious, and the bathroom had all the amenities I needed. The location was convenient for exploring the city, and the price felt like great value for a modern, well-kept hotel.

While the staff were fairly friendly and helped with recommendations, they could be a bit more welcoming. It would have been nice if they acknowledged guests more often as they came and went. However, overall, this was a pleasant and comfortable stay that was worth the money.

The staff was very helpful and patient - we requested a change of room (wanted a room with a larger window and a single mattress instead of two joined together) and the hotel manager showed us a lot of rooms (probably all that were available at that time) in order to let us make an informed decision. The room met our needs - it was clean and spacious enough for a few-night stay.

I have no idea if this is because of the building materials used or the chemicals used to clean up the space - but both corridors and the front desk area had an unbearable smell. My wife had to hold her breath in order to get out/to the room. Luckily, the room itself smelled ok.

The place was nice and the beds were comfortable. It was a good place to relax after a days work.

Smell of cigarettes. Every time we get back to the room it always smells like cigaretter even if no one was smoking from our group The fire alarm went off at 3 am even if there was no wmergency, at least we knew the alarms were working and can be heard insife the rooms

There might be some mildew in the room - even with windows there isn’t a fan in the bathroom or great ventilation but it’s a really good value & mostly clean. Just don’t look to hard and enjoy

Indeed a Fine place to stay, although nothing Royal about it.

Asked for quiet rooms when booking, but nothing was said about it during check-in and the rooms were on the busy street side. Maybe nothing was available, but it would have been nice if it was explained.

The pillows could be better (small thing)

Great location close to MRT and many ubike around. I was on the 11th floor in a big room, the window could have better noise isolation otherwise the room was calm and comfortable.

Great staff, was close to a metro station and restaurants, very accessible with the bike, the room was clean and the bathroom was big enough

Room for 2 people a little bit too small for luggage

Very nice room with three windows that allowed a pretty decent view. We were in the 7. floor so we could see above the surrounding houses. It was all clean and quiet, just be aware that the room, esp. the bathroom looks older than in the pictures (and the windows were dirty), but that was fine for us for this price.

Only the fact that the rooms are not very soundproof against outside noises from the street.

I enjoyed my stay. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Everything went well and uncomplicated. Room was quite nice for the low price.

There was an unfortunate event with an accidental fire alarm going off at 3:40AM during my stay... Also, no windows in the room made waking up in the morning difficult.
