Rainbow Hotel had the perfect location at the center of Ximending. It was an easy commute from Taoyuan Airport using the Express train to the Taipei Main Station and the Bannan/Blue Line. Different choices of breakfast and other food are easily accessible by a short walk. When you go out from the hotel, the queue for the famous fried chicken and the scallion pancakes are just outside the doorstep. You are also at the heart of Ximen shopping, ABC Mart was very nearby. Commuting to other locations via MRT was fast taking Ximen Exit 6. Our room was always clean and tidy with we got back. Front desk very accommodating and quick to provide what we needed. This hotel is highly recommended.

Stayed in Rainbow Hotel for a week and I am so impressed of how good their room is, the rate they offer and of course of its location which is in the heart of Ximending walking area so Just wow! They clean the room thoroughly everyday (can be upon guests' request of course), they change towels and they offer free snacks, beverages and bottled water at their amenity lounge at 3rd floor. Would like to say a big thanks you Ms. Liao & Ms. Lee who were so attentive and nice staff of the hotel. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next Taipei trip.

It's right in the middle of Ximending. Love the atmosphere around the hotel. Food and shopping are easily reachable. Not far from the train station.

The room air-con was leaking. Upon telling the counter staff, they fixed it. However, we were not able to on it and adjust the temperature ever since then. The sound proof of the hotel is not very good too. Every morning of my stay in the hotel (from 5am onwards), I heard a bunch of other guests shouting in the hallway.

Excellent location, right in XiMenDing. 3 min walk from Ximen metro station. Very efficient, helpful & accommodating lady at reception. Even though Check-in time stated in Booking.com was 5pm, we were early and she allowed us to check in at 1+pm, and even gave us a free room upgrade meant for 4pax. We booked 2 rooms for 4 pax. The room & everything in it were clean. Old hotel but probably renovated during pandemic. Free coffee and 5 different snacks at the dining area on Level 3, where you can watch performances below without the crowd.

No breakfast. The location is great because it is on the middile of Ximen Night Market. There are many shop and local restaurents that you can should. We early check in (about 15:00) but the room is ready for us :). The room is cleaned and have facilities enough for us.

Staff can be more friendly and should greet and talke to guest more. Deluxe Family Room should have bathtop and cloth hanger in the bathroom it will be perfect for us.

good location. easy access to train station, full of night activities at this hotel location. Food and shopping is easily done for this location. female staff at counter is helpful when i seek additional help.

the lift is a bit on the long wait, and only has 1 lift. lift is on the small size. but overall is ok experience to stay at Rainbow hotel. a bit late on the check-in but did not affect me as my flight arrival is late afternoon. they do provide luggage storage.

Ms. Sunnie, the staff at the reception when we arrived was very accommodating. She upgraded our room and when we ask her if we can stay in a family room and one twin room, she offered us 1 family room and 1 triple room since we booked 3 rooms and I asked if we can convert our rooms and she agreed. But the next receptionist the next day told us we need to change to original rooms but we still ended up staying in our upgraded rooms. They are cleaning the rooms everyday and they have unlimited drinking water supply that we can grab before going outside. We also arranged our airport transfers through rainbow hotel/booking.com.

The pantry area was a little bit of a mess when we arrived but the coffee and snacks are yummy! Would have been nice if they have free breakfast or breads and eggs that the guests can grab anytime.

Prime location in the middle of Ximending Walking Street, bustling with night life. Despite staying on the third floor, the noise from the walking street is minimal to none (though we could clearly hear our neighbours when they were walking to their rooms). Staff is very friendly and helpful, and they were able to accommodate us when we arrived early as they had a room available already. They also helped with arranging an airport transfer. :)

Located in the middle of Ximending .my room facing the road but no noise disturb when I sleep .near MRT Ximen station only 5 mins walk . Free drinking water provided for guest for free . Room clean with shampoo and liquid soap provided and housekeeping clean room everyday . We paid for late check out 200 TWD / hour which worth for it as our flt is late evening . Wifi signal is strong.

Central location, right in the middle of Ximending Shopping District with many shops and food, bubble tea options nearby Close to Ximending MRT Station (which is just one stop from Taipei Main Station) Room and bathroom are clean and well maintained

Room service did not replace our bathroom towels on two of the days Room felt a little dim, hotel itself did not have much facilities like game rooms or kitchens (although not a problem for me as I spent most part of the day touring the city)
