The breakfast was very good Taiwanese food (we asked which buffet plates were vegan and they prepared us our own dishes too). There is free orange juice and coffee 24/7, and the lounge is large and nice. The showers have soap dispensers.

The room smelled strongly of mould and damp. We told the staff this, and they sent in some workers to do something for 20 minutes in the room (I have no idea what). After that it was better but we could still smell it. The fire alarm went off at 4am, we used the fire escape but it was full of junk and it was filthy. Also, we were told the alarm was set off probably by someone smoking, but that was the only information we got for sitting around at 4am for an hour scared.

The staff were excellent, reception all I talked to were very professional. , and even the cleaning lady. Includes a daily Taiwanese buffet breakfast, WiFi , some satellite TV, Aircon. Water replenished daily and toiletries all replenished. The walker is a great budget option in Taipei city. Easy to get to from the airport and to travel to other places in Taipei.

Positives 1. The hotel is located in Sanchong District. Just one bus stop away from the Sanchong Metro. 2. The bus stop was located just outside the hotel, giving convenient access to travel in the city. 3. The room provided had a King Sized bed. 4. The room had a balcony, from which we could see the high rise buildings in the vicinity. 5. The room had fresh air, ventilation and natural sunlight. 6. The bathroom was large and spacious, having a bath tub. 7. All basic facilities were provided, like electric kettle, complimentary water and slippers. 8. The Breakfast was delicious and healthy. 9. The hotel provided complimentary coffee and juice, which could be consumed any time during the stay. 10. The hotel staff were helpful and understood our requirements well. Negatives 1. The hotel did not have permanent plates, cutlery and utensils. They provided plastic plates, spoons and bowls, which added to the trash. 2. As we were vegetarians, we had limited choices of vegetarian food. 3. There were no salads or fresh fruits in the buffet.

Hotel is walkable from Sanchong metro station, which happens to be stop on the train from airport. Although the walking route is not straight, it doesn't have any major intersections to cross. Two convenience stores very close. The desk staff is extremely efficient. Luggage can be left. Breakfast decent and opened early. Room AC is strong, and shower had lots of hot water and pressure.

Suggest the hotel needs to give consequences to smokers ... charge them a fee (if possible, on credit card) even after they've checked out and left a degraded room behind them.

I was a little hesitant because of the mix reviews of this hotel. I may say that it's decent. The hallway smells like cigarette smoke but it does not go in the room. Our room is very clean and is good enough for solo and couples. CR has shampoo and soap provided. Towels are also provided. You can also request for your room to be cleaned without additional charge (they will mention this upon check in). Breakfast was a plus! A number of choices is available. Receptionists are all helpful and they could all speak in english which is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this!

There was tissue in the cr bowl when we arrive but it's not dirty.

The breakfast was really good. There were not only toasts, but also Taiwanese meals. And the location, the staff, and the facilities were all good too.

The facility served good healthy food but it would be better if they have sunny side up egg and sausages. They are very attentive to their guests and very helpful and would even facilitate your needs/ requests in as much as they can. Front desk staffs were friendly and nice, too.

I would recommend that the management will strictly implement no smoking rules inside the hotel rooms so as not to pollute the aisle and the smell of the cigar will not spread towards inside of the neighbors room Or if not do some proper exhaustion as it has a strong smell of cigar when you enter the aisle towards the room.. it would be better if they can maintain a refreshing scent on every rooms and aisles. They have a comfortable bed to relax the only problem was the ac unit its not cooling that much there was no ac control to adjust the temperature.

UPDATED - DONT EVEN READ OTHER COMMENTS, this places is the BEST IN ALL TAIPEI I CAN NOT INMAGINE SOMETHING BETTER. Amazing Taiwanese tradicional breakfast, rooms are ultra good high end. We have Visited 70 COUNTRIES and this hotel is ultra good, rooms are good for me as a Brazilian it is a 4 starts hotel súper good, cheap and friendly, good WIFI close to the Bus stop that tales you to all Taipei, Close to Metro Sanchong very very good!

NOTHING IT WAS ULTRA GOOD

The hotel location is quite okay with the walking distance from MRT to the hotel. I love the 2 double beds in the room which fit to our family (2 adults and 2 kids). Bathroom was okay, it comes with the bath tub.

In my view, the room size for a family with 2 kids is a bit smaller than I expected. I would suggest the hotel to provide the shower curtain so the water won't be splashed out during a shower in the bathroom.
