Our stay at Veraclub Sunset Hotel in Nungwi was absolutely amazing! The hotel is impeccably clean, offering a stunning view of the sunset that you won’t forget. The food is delicious and of excellent quality – truly a culinary delight. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The management clearly runs the hotel with care and professionalism. There’s nothing negative to say about our experience – it was worth every penny. In fact, we regret not opting for the all-inclusive package. We had chosen the breakfast-only option, but given the quality and variety of the food, I would highly recommend going for the all-inclusive package instead. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was reliable, making our stay even more comfortable. This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Nungwi!

The food was amazing and buffet style so there was a massive variety to choose from and the staff and cooks were super accommodating and lovely. They had a range of activities through the hotel that staff helped plan and talked you through. The manager and front desk staff were so helpful with organising a special dinner as well as transport for our numerous activities, the room and bathroom were spacious with a beautiful view. Overall such a lovely stay for our holiday and the facilities such as the pool, bar and outdoor lounges exceeded our expectations. Big thank you to all the kind staff for making our stay so amazing

The Location was great and love the Breakfast. All of the facilities we great and we really enjoyed the beach that was right there. The pool was really nice and was great that they had ping pong and beach tennis to play.

Sometimes in the morning after breakfast we would love to chill by the pool and read a book or have a swim But they were playing very loud music that was not nice at all. We are also not italian so we felt left out when the staff always talked to and invited other guest to activities but never us.

I wanted to share my wonderful experience staying at Veraclub during our family trip to Zanzibar. The location was nothing short of magical, as it was conveniently close to restaurants. The amazing team there was always ready to assist us in English, thx Marco & Paola 🙏They went above and beyond by recommending fantastic places to eat nearby, making our dining experiences truly memorable. The icing on the cake was the beautiful beach accessible during low tide – a true slice of amazing Zanzibar right at our doorstep.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has the best location on Nungwi Beach, close to the beach and other restaurants. When we arrived we got upgraded to the junior suits which was really nice. The staff were really friendly and helpfull.

The beds were a little bit hard. One thing that’s good to know is that all entertainment is in Italian. No problems for us since we always went to other restaurants in the evenings, but good to know if you’re planning to stay at the hotel most of the time.

Staff were amazing, very welcoming and attentive. Anything that you needed they would try to fulfill. Manager was also very kind.

Italian entertainment at night. So if you don’t speak Italian you won’t be able to enjoy. Also, announcements made in Italian for activities during the day.

Amazing location. By the nicest beach in Zanzibar I think. Beautiful sand, clear water and great snorkeling just a gentle swim away. Great little bar next to the hotel on the beach for sunset happy hour. Some masai markets very close as well. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. We loved Ellen who always cheered us up for brekkie. Breakfast was very tasty loved the omelette station plus the baked beans were tasty not too far off a baked bean from back home. Great sun loungers in a chilled spot overlooking the sea. Rooms were large, AC worked well plus a ceiling fan and had a nice outdoor bit to chill with a Seaview.

Beds were very firm and the pillows terrible. Could make do with the beds but really need to invest in new pillows it's like sleeping on a rock. It's an Italian resort so 'entertainment' is all in Italian but we didn't care for this as we wanted to explore the local spots anyway. Rooms need a little updating especially the shower as no shower screen so water gets everywhere.

Absolutely gorgeous place! 401 had such an amazing view perfect for a relaxing break away. Not near the busy part so super chilled. Access to the beach was great and to the nearby restaurants and bars.

The entertainment area is so big but not well used compared to nearby hotels and has the ability to be the best. Breakfast could have been more varied however I found this was similar across nungwi.

Location was perfect to everything and great service when booking outings & spa. Transport was great to/fm the airport aswell as diving. What i liked the most was that the resort wasnt too big that you were just a number in a factory, but a individual free to do as you wished without being bothered too much, while still being looked after. Loved the grass areas too.

The mattress on the bed, would be even better if they were not foam. Though i know this is huge investment.
