convenient location close to perfect beach area (just about 5-10 minutes) with no long low tides distance. very polite and helpful staff. there are disco nights. as for me it’s an advantage. it may be too noisy for some people - I had so active days that even loud music didn’t disturb me during the night. if you have a sensitive sleep earplugs could help. there is a bar from the same owner at the beach line with several sun beds and umbrellas - for hotel guests is a special price for rent. very convenient (but it could be better to provide its renting for free 🙂)

not all rooms have a “sea view” though it’s written in description. It was my filter for searching a place but finally I had a construction site view. regards other positive moments had smoothed it.

This stay was great value for money. The grounds of Cocobello are absolutely beautiful and artistic, huge restaurant/bar, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious with 2 balconies, and comfortable. The management and staff are were the friendliest and made our stay so much better, special shoutout to Jay, Ezekiel, and Christine. The location is perfect close to the beach in Nungwi and close to Kendwa as well by water taxi or bike. When we arrived for NYE they had just opened Club Cocobello around 500 meters walk away, so no parties are happening at the hotel.

The food at the restaurant takes very long to arrive, and the room is not air conditioned which we knew before, but it was very warm for this time of the year maybe more fans can be added.

Excellent value for money, our room was lovely, super clean with a great view of the sea from our top floor. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - very friendly and welcoming. amazing club on Sunday and Wednesday - very loud music until 4am and floods with people but the hotel make sure you’re aware of it before you come

No full English breakfast as stated in the details, only option is fresh fruit and eggs which were nice - they should correct the hotel details.. The hotel is really a club with rooms, very quiet and isolated when it’s not club night. Most restaurants and hotels to get out and be around other people are along the beach which isn’t safe to walk along after dark.

Colorful and positive design, good food. It’s party place with crazy party 3 times per week. Amazing show of the Freedom Dancers crew. Nice view (from room no 13).

The staff in the restaurant during the breakfast and day time could be more energetic. In the room there was a fun on the ceiling but due to heave textile above the bed you couldn’t feel the air while sleeping. Would be enough to change this material to the net same as on the sides, then the air will go through.

Everything was very nice, friendly and helpful staff. They cleaned the room every day and provided fresh towels and linen. Very close to one of the nicest beach in Nungwi and close to many restaurants in the area. We had 2 nights with party at the club but we knew before what to expect. Also now the club moved 500 m away from accommodation and no need to worry about the music anymore.

A colourful spot surrounded by nature really close to Nungwi beach, 7 min walking (where you'll find also a private Beach-Bar called "Cocco Beach "where u can listen good music, chill an meet new people around the world) Staff super friendly always smiling and ready to help you in case u need it. Owners Nicole and Tommy as well, cool and super friendly since the day arrived in Coccobello. About Room same, colourful, fresh (specially during the night, an clean. (You'll have also Cleaner sevice every day) One of the best experience of my life.

The first impact on the beach will be for sure a bit annoying because you'll be surrounded by Beach Boys that they will try to sell you gadgets, tours, excursions ecc. (not only in Nungwi but in general) But dont worry about it, just be friendly saying you're not interested and they will move to others tourists.

It's a lovely colorful place and my room had a great style and terrace..perfect for reading and relaxing. Very clean overall. The staff is great and very helpful, very friendly and all speak English very well. The owners are also amazing and I really reccomend the place. It's quite easy to get to the town center and the beach area. I felt safe in the area even in the night. Cocco Beach bar is also a must! Good vibes and good music, close to the hotel. Prices are fair for food, and the food is delicious. The Coccobello parties are great! Good value for money. I would return.

Room is quite hot with no AC. It can be a challenge when it's extremely hot. The fan is helpful though. No fridge in the rooms.

Nice room, double balcony, all is new and working properly. Clean place at the rooms. Friendly workers.

At night it is too dark to walk around alone. The sea view is too far. It is not front beach. It is 80-100 mts from the beach.

Everything was very welcoming, especially Shaggy (Rohan) who helped us organising our excursions and diving. He’s the best!

absolutely everything. the staff are awesome, the place is really chill, the music. this is really like Jamaica in zanzibar. everyone is cool. the beach is 3min walk. the club is on fire twice a week from 11-4am. the music is really loud so if you’re not into that, don’t go there. we loved it. it’s close to all other hotels and restaurants and activities.

not about the property but the beach: so many beach boys bothering you every 30s so be prepared for that.
