This hotel looks like it was taken from a movie scene. If you're looking for partying, night clubs and buzz with friends, don't come here, as there is nothing to do after 10pm. But if you're looking for some peace, quiet, meditation, relaxation, 10/10 this is the place to come to. Framed by tropical forest, on one side, and by a paradisiac beach on the other, you feel immersed in some sort of Blue Lagoon movie. The hotel is small sized, not many rooms which allows the perfect conditions for a restful and peaceful stay. The breakfast is served in a gorgeous restaurant on the beach where you can contemplate the sea with the scenic longtail boat. When I thought this would only be result of photoshoped pictures, this hotel just proved me wrong. Cleanliness is of the highest standards. The room is gorgeous, super comfy and the bed is amazing. There is free Nespresso coffee in the room (important, as it's not so common in Asia). If you like asian (and in particular thai) food, you must try the hotel restaurants. Food is superb, delicious and (despite no being cheap according to Thailand standards) it is still cheap as per european standards. There is also italian restaurant with very good pasta, risotto and pizzas (surprisingly). Finally, and most important of all, the service is truly 5 stars. All the staff is so delicate, so kind, so humble. They will always stop what they are doing to say hello as you pass by and they will do anything to solve any query you have. On our particular case, we had a big issue upon arrival in the airport, where we were left with no taxi and no option to come to the hotel, at night (as Krabi goes to sleep at 10pm) and Tubkaak managed to get us a taxi in 20min. To the hotel: never cease to provide highest standards of service. Summary: I've been to many 5 stars hotels but this is definitely the best hotel and best holidays I've ever had in my life. Strongly recommend.

Truly hard to find one thing, but I'd suggest to the hotel to put some sockets by the bed to charge the phones during the night. The existing sockets are not near the bed.

We loved our short break at this hotel, we stayed in two different rooms each for one night. Both were lovely but our favourite was the Sea View room. Tastefully decorated and set in such lovely grounds. The hotel has its own private beach which is absolutely stunning, there are kayaks and SUPs available for guests to use which we made use of. We would love to stay again for longer and try some of the activities they offer throughout the week. Our stay was short but loved and we would happily return to the Tubkaak again given the chance.

We visited this resort in Dec and loved it so much retuned in March and 100% will be back The staff and hotel are beautiful The spa is incredible and unique total paradise

Food and drinks are very expensive it’s a shame as it puts you off eating and drinking there . We ate twice at the hotel during our 6 night stay and the food was lovely just expensive

Where to start? The staff are so lovely. The beach is clean and feels private. Complimentary yoga, Thai boxing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Stunning rooms - also super confortable - the outdoor bathroom is very cool. The spa is amazing. Best breakfast- everything is so fresh.

Location is secluded but it's also a plus because feels very private. The food is a little pricey for thai standards. Taxi fares and excursions are also a little pricey. They forgot to tell us that kong island had a entrance fee but we were able to arrange with our boat driver. House keeping forgot our room but a phone call to the reception and all was fixed.

Tubkaak is very well laid out with amazing views of the sea. It is very quiet and peaceful especially if you love nature and enjoying waking up to the sound of birds.

Amazing beachfront view, great breakfast and the Italian restaurant was delicious! The staff were very kind. Special highlight for the massages - they were amazing.

- It was complicated to communicate in English with the staff unfortunately, we had difficulty getting our message understood. - We were very disappointed with the food at the Thai restaurant - definitely not up to the standards of other restaurants we visited (too spicy, despite asking for regular; very dry…). - Rooms lack privacy and balcony quite dangerous (no barrier). - The hotel is great however not at all suited to toddlers unfortunately - there were too many hazards for our little ones. - We were also disappointed in their sunset tent on the beach (no staff came to ask what we needed, too many “decorative food”, and sweets). And it was quite uncomfortable. Quality/price was not worth it. - Overall Price vs Quality didn’t match in our view.

It’s a very beautiful, rain forrest like scenery, where the different buildings are nestled in. When you take a boat trip right from the hotel beach, you will not see one building off the hotel, when you come back home. Just trees and the beach - unlike the neighborhood hotels, which are peaking out and almost destroy this amazing setting. The hotel pool is super nice and the way the different buildings are arranged around the pool, is quite unique.

Our room, pool facing room on the ground floor, was very small - actually compared to the price we paid, way too small. Which makes the value for money equation a bit lopsided. The prices in the hotel restaurants or the massage offerings are way over the top - which made us not using it. The location is a bit remote - which in hindsight is a plus because of it’s quite environment. But when visiting e.g Ao Nang, you have to pay a bit more for a taxi to bring you home. Services like Grab did not even respond to the request.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they work so very hard to make your stay enjoyable. We were helped a lot to book different excursions and activities. The hotel was very accommodating in meeting my gluten intolerance needs, and I was served a large range of different breakfasts that I could eat. The main breakfast is also exceptional. The views from the restaurant were great! Lots of nice touches to celebrate our honeymoon.

We were disappointed with the scuba diving trip we went on, using the leaflet in the hotel's guide. They may wish to update their recommendations as the trip was not as safe and the diving area less interesting than others we have been on in Thailand.

It was a beautiful property beautiful room open bath 😍 as me and my partner we are both nature lovers this was like beautiful gem we found in krabi there was greenery and so close to the beach 🥰 love love the place so much staffs are very helpful. Day to day activities was there Like yoga and trekking we had amazing morning breakfast lots of variety in buffet.the restaurant right on the beach 😍. Had a amazing time ☺️

Beautiful restaurant but so sorry to say food is really bad We tried both restaurant food was not really amusing as the place. I had tried better thai food at streets than the place . Italian restaurant was very disappointing we order for a pizza and a tiramisu . Pizza It was too crispy like a chips ,dry and burned ☹️Tiramisu was disappointing as well wasn't balanced . Was expecting authenticity in food,like proper Italian food as they have a Italian restaurant Doest meet the price we spend for the food. In Some dishes the portion is too small Other services are double in price from the resort . Like renting a bike and airport transfers. Bad experience with the food made me hesitate to try other service in the resort like spa 😔

Incredible place - an absolute paradise where you don’t feel like there is a lot of tourists around you. the beach is really great and everything about the hotel is so nice. we did a portion of our honeymoon there and we were very very happy. We will come back at some point

not a lot to say but for the sake of some valuable feedback. Perhaps more beanbags for the beach - happwned a few times people couldn’t sit or lay anywhere as there were not enough of them. And one last thing, perhaps some option to be able to sit and have drinks (bar style) after 10
