The location was terrific. It was Quiet and beautiful. Tucked away next to the beach, it avoided the loud bars and drunk tourists downtown. The staff were beyond friendly. When I left, I felt like I was leaving a family friend's house.

It was perfect for me, but the rooms are bare bones, and I could imagine it might be loud if you had a neighbor in the adjoining room. The beds were a little firmer than I like, but again, for the price, you really can't beat the price and location.

Simple and lovely place. Very caring and helpful hosts who make you feel at home. There's not a lot of bells and whistles, but the property is small, beautiful and well maintained with direct access to the beach. Rooms are basic and comfortable (especially since you are likely to spend most of your time outside), there are spaces near the beach to relax, the food is great. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and comfortable. NOT a luxury stay so don't come here looking for that. It IS very homey and peaceful.

In its bay is the most central, cleanest bungalow structure, with deck chairs and services available and you can eat Thai very well. The owners are kind and helpful, attentive to your needs and discreet, available to book us taxis and travel services. Relax assured

This is such a great place run by Pi Tik and Thom. They are great characters and run a very comfy, very clean, well organised place. They care about the small details. A small beach is accessible very nearby but they have a beautiful seawall area to sit, lounge in the sun, eat and order drinks/food. The food was great! Especially I loved the kapao muu. Breakfast was wonderful; salad, toast, eggs and a variety of different Thai food each day.

My first room was behind the restaurant and I had a noisy neighbour (otherwise it's really quiet because it's at a very chill part of the island/beach). When I moved rooms, it was paradise again! Loud neighbours with no awareness - had nothing to do with Viking Holidays.

Excellent breakfast, good restaurant, friendliness of the staff. We travelled with a 10-month-old baby and even though they didn’t had a baby crib, they made a baby bed for us and gave our baby a teddy bear as a complimentary. The small beach is ideal for kids, there is some shadow aswell and modest waves. Water is crystal clear, the beach is not trashy. Free sand toys, games and swimming toys. Awesome sea view from the room. Couple of nice restaurants nearby.

Mosquitos so bring your own repellent aswell Just instant coffee on breakfast buffet but with a nice price a possibility to order special coffee aswell! Everything was quite perfect so we extended our stay!

Amazing quiet place with a small private beach. Excellent staff team that made us feel right at home. The perfect location if you want to relax and get away from it all. We travelled with a baby and it was a great little oasis where she could just play around safely.

The only drawback was that the restaurant is closed at night and there are only 2 other restaurants within 10 min walking distance.

Set on the quiet beach of koh samet about 4 km from the main pier. The manager and staff are wonderful and an excellent breakfast full of choices was provided. WIFI was excellent the bathroom was plain but clean and the hotel provided many accessories. The beachfront was set up for a very “chill” vibe.

The room we were in were very plain with a table but no chairs. The towels and linens were about half way through their lifespan. Next time I would choose an upgraded room.

Warm welcome by Tom and Tick , the 2 managers. They look really well after their customers. Always a friendly chat and smile. It’s a homey place, near the sea with a kind of private beach. Good variation for breakfast , western and Thai food, all fresh. The staff is well trained and keeps the place clean. Tom and Tick have eyes everywhere, anticipating the customers wishes . Great place to stay

Everything perfect

It was very quiet and located right on the beach. It was very nice to have snorkeling equipment, chairs, dart board and ping pong table all available. It was nice that scooters had to park a ways away. We liked Jellyfish restaurant and Songthian restaurant nearby for dinners. The owners and staff at Viking were very nice and helpful. I appreciated the help with arrangements to get to the Bangkok Airport on our checkout day.

At times I could hear people in the room above but that’s a problem at every hotel.
