Having stayed here for many years at the same time i was disappointed with the sudden price increase in the cost of a large beer chang in the restaurant at 160THB we decided to spend our money at the bar next door but one, where the price was 90THB for the same drink this is the same price i was paying at the hotel last year. Given the price difference we only used the hotel bar once during our three stays this year.

No lift service for the tower we stayed in. We asked about another room serviced by a lift and were quoted a ridiculous price. The cab driver out the front named Som and his brother Siko are involved in a scam with the floating market, watch out for them.

The Bed was very comfortable and a double,I had a fridge and a decent sized safe. The shower was ok and pressure and temp was good. The Aircon was very good,as was the Pool on the top floor. There was a lift from the ground floor to floor 5 with a few steps to the pool on the rooftop. The Breakfast Buffet was fantastic with a great choice. Only negative was this wasn't my original room,I upgraded after the first night because facilities were poor and I ended up paying more for a Deluxe Single..

The standard single I checked into didn't have a fridge,the Aircon was also very poor,it was very warm and the Bed and room was a bit small. Also no lift in that building to the 4th floor I was on. Both the Standard Single and Deluxe Single did not have a kettle or tea + coffee which seems standard these days. The upgrade made my experience much better.

Great location, set back from Khao san but close enough to go and enjoy it if you want. Some great restaurants nearby, can strongly recommend Madame Musur. The pool area is large enough, although no cushions on the sun loungers. We could pay for late check out which was a bonus as our flights were really late at night but we didn't want to pay for a room for the whole night again.

As mentioned in some other reviews, the aircon was quite loud but we had earplugs so it wasn't too much of a problem. The shower was fixed in a bad position on the wall which meant the entire bathroom go soaked when you showered, rather irritating.

This is my 2nd stay here, love the location & most things except for the terrible Wi Fi & lack of cushions on sunbeds.

The Wi Fi Is absolutely terrible every single time u return to your room or wake up in the morning u have to keep entering the Wi Fi password. For some reason it cannot save it & keep u connected, no idea why but very frustrating. I had to have the Wi Fi password written in paper by my bedside table, on the counter next to fridge & in the bathroom. Each time I needed to also use my laptop for work same thing it just wouldn’t retain the password info. Also the sunbeds on the rooftop do not have cushions so if u want to relax, swim & get some sun u have to lay on wooden sunbeds.

It’s always very clean. The staff are exceptionally helpful. I’ve been coming here for over five years. It has always been good value for money. Good breakfasts.

I do t usually stop at the bar at the front but we did whilst waiting for our ride home (we live in Thailand). I was shocked at the over- inflated prices of two drinks: one beer one glass of really nasty cheap wine cost 300 baht (approx $9 USD). Local prices would have this at maybe 100 baht. That’s outrageous. Mind you throughout that area prices for food and drink are so overly inflated.

The room was clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. The receptionist found a quiet room for us as those were our last two nights in Thailand. The breakfast which you can buy there was very good, plenty of choices and a non-smoking area.

When we arrived in Bangkok on 17.12.24, we stayed in the hotel for one night. The AC in the room was very noisy so the only solution for us was to switch it off and open the window. Well, that was not possible since the room was on the ground floor and right next door there was another building which produced even more noise. We had to survive that. On our way back home, we stayed in the hotel again but I asked the receptionist for a quiet room. We were lucky and one was available. However, the issue with the AC was the same. Luckily, as the room was in a quiet place, we were able to open a window and sleep without AC. Apart from the noisy AC, everything was fine.

Breakfast was really good. Excellent amount of options and good quality food. The pool was lovely. Staff were friendly. Location was good. Room is mostly comfortable..! Good value for money.

The air-con was awful. It was way too cold and turning it down didn't make it less cold. I had to reposition my bed so it wasn't directly under the air-con and I had to wear a lot of clothing. Please install new air-con units! Also the mosque nearby is quite loud at prayer times. The early morning one woke me up at 4.30am every morning.

I like that this property is centrally located in an area that over the years I have visited many many times and enjoy a lot. Enjoying my breakfast in the ambiance of the tranquil koi pond is a great way to start the morning. I have met some special people over coffee and breakfast. I appreciate this feature immensely. Thank you. The breakfast buffet included in my room was very good with a variety of food choices. Everything to “my” liking.😀 The rooms are very basic but clean meeting basic needs, and it’s affordable for me. This is my third time returning to this property. Thank you.

I would appreciate a hot water kettle in the room as I enjoy a coffee when I wake up before I face the day outside, and a tea in the afternoon to relax in the comfort of the aircon room away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok… a city that I appreciate in its liveliness.

I like everything about Rambuttri Village Plaza. It was my second time in Thailand and I always went to Rambuttri because of its location, the staff, the value for money, and the experience of being close to the Khaosan Road.

I wished there were electric keetles in the room. I requested for one, but the hotel didn't have any. I need coffee every morning from the moment i wake up, so the electric keetle was essential. The hotel staff were very kind to give me hot water from the front desk though, so this pretty much made up for it.
