The standout feature of the room was the private pool. It was very hot during our stay and we used the pool very often. The breakfast was more than satisfactory and the staff was very friendly. We were fortunate to meet the owner on the first morning of our stay and he gave us some great advice on choices for sightseeing. Some great restaurants in the area.

The property is located down the side of repair shop that creates a slight concern when first arriving. The property gardens are not that well maintained which adds to the feel. This is the first time that I have visited an accommodation and been excited to change small things to greatly approve the appearance.

My stay at Arun Dara Villa in Chiang Mai was absolutely wonderful. The villa is ideally located close to the airport, beautiful Buddhist temples, and the vibrant night market, yet it's tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. I loved the private saltwater pool, which was such a refreshing touch. The breakfast options were extensive, from American to Thai and Chinese styles, and everything was delicious, including the fresh fruit platter. The villa was spotless, and the comfortable beds and luxurious bathtub made my stay even more relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. Just remember to pack some mosquito repellent, but other than that, it was a perfect stay, and I can’t wait to return!

We loved the indoor onsen and the private infinity pool. The room is spacious with large high ceilings. When the Chiang Mai heat was too much, staying in was a joy because of the luxurious accommodation. We particularly loved and relished the floating breakfasts. We tried both the Thai and Western breakfast. Our host, Mike, and his staff, So, were just fantastic! So was attentive, helpful, charming, and spoke good English. She gave great recommendations for spas, attractions, and experiences. The location is accessible to most attractions inside the Old City. A 7/11 is right outside the villa. Restaurants, spas, and temples were literally less than 5 minutes away. Big plus for us that there's a coin laundry service just outside the villa!

Private pool was amazing, and was getting full sun from around 11 am til about 2 pm, at least during April (hot month, lovely to have a pool!). Breakfast was amazing... in fact way too much food to eat but very nice. Villas were very quiet, so it was peaceful. Only downside was the initial "curb appeal" of the alleyway that you have to enter to get here with the cluttered garage with stuff everywhere and 7-11 garbage... but be brave, the villas themselves are very clean and welcoming! High ceilings, large rooms, great staff!

The location of Arun Dara Villa very good and the staff exceptional. Upon arrival our first impression was that the property was a little unkempt the grass out front badly needing a mow and tidy up. The room however was immaculate, modern clean & beautifully presented. The staff could not be more helpful.

Without a doubt the bed was dreadful really was like trying to sleep on a concrete slab. We spoke with staff who provided a topper which improved the beds comfort only very slightly.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredible. It's near the city center. There are a lot of restaurants and activities in the area.

The huge bath tub and the private pool in the villa were an amazing touch for the pricing. The helpful and responsive staff that catered to our requests and queries. Excellent location as it's just located opposite to one of the main temples in Old City and is within walking distance to most other attractions.

My wife expressed that the villa feels like a giant locker room as it lacks soft features in the decor. Visibility of the villa's location can be improved as it's tucked away in a narrow alley from the main road.

We loved the private plunge pool, which was such a lovely treat after wandering the Old City in the heat. The bed was very comfy, and the high ceilings made for a spacious and luxurious stay. The room was kept lovely and clean each day and the staff could not have been more attentive. One of the best stays on our 2-month trip. Highly recommend for a few nights.

Breakfast was just okay but that was our experience in most hotels in Thailand. Not for us.

Really beautiful room that is modern and clean. Staff go out of there wait to make you feel comfortable and the location is great. You can call reception for a cup of coffee and croissant at any time of the day!!

Although the pool was amazing, it was in the shade so the water was unbearably cold. We didn’t use or enjoy the pool as much as we thought we would just because it was too cold, even when the weather was 30c. We filled up the bath tub once, by the time it filled almost to the top, the hot water ran out. Then when we wanted to shower afterwards there was no hot water left!

Had everything you could possibly want or need. Clean, quiet, well located, private pool, huge bathtub, great shower, good water pressure and temperature, A/C and a fan, hair dryer, toiletries, safe, some hangers. Beds were your typical hard, yet soft beds that really motivate you to seize the day! Staff was great all around.

The pigeons who kept eyeing my breakfast when I had it in the pool! 😅
