Absolutely loved everything about this place. Huge room with very private pool. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Helpful staff. Only 7 accommodations so very boutique / family - ran feeling. Breakfast was insane. 2nd morning we requested a portion for one person because we felt bad wasting it. Didnt run a bath as the pool was more than adequate. REALLY good massage place next to chef taos 5 minute walk toward center of town.

Entry to the villa is underwhelming. Down an unkempt alleyway and to a simple office. But it adds to the surprise when you see the villa...my partner was like "oh this is more like how we first travelled Thailand 10 years ago" as we approached. And then blown away by the rooms.

I can’t say enough good things about Arun Dara - from the lovely staff, nice breakfast, clean and comfortable room, the HUGE and delicious breakfasts, a great location in the middle of the Old City, it was all great. But to top it all off, a private swimming pool at the room to chill and cool off after a hot day on the mountains. If traveling alone or as a couple, etc., I can totally recommend this place

Maybe an espresso machine, but that’s just a small detail for me. Great coffee at a nearby coffee shop so that had me covered.

The location & team are great. Arranged transport to the airport for us very efficiently. Breakfast in room was great, we went for the Thai options on all days. Didnt place it in the pool but very good

Not sure about the reason in the bathtub is in the room - its huge and massive and would take 3 hours to fill i guess, not that we tried while you have a mini dip pool outside. Only real comment tbh is that i think the cleanliness of the pools can be better or the pumps stronger on filtration, seemed to dusty/particles in the water. Room cleanliness is great

Lovely private pool, very secluded so no one is looking in on you. Comfy bed. Good location within the old city, only 25min walk to night bazaar. Tasty breakfast delivered to the room, we asked for the floating one but they advised not to put it in the pool because of the birds. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely bathroom with rainfall shower.

The safe in the room didn’t work but in fairness we never checked with the staff to remedy this. The side road it is down felt a little dodgy at first but otherwise the area seems pretty safe.

Exactly like pictures so very beautiful and confortable. If you want a private pool with your room in the old city, knowing many hotels here, this is the best romantic option. Breakfast in the basket was very good and fun in the pool. The temperature of the pool was perfect for this period, not too hot not too cold. Just cooling you down when coming in from the hot day outside. Thank you to the owner and the staff !

The room is amazing and big, but at the same time cozy. The private pool is the perfect size for two people to enjoy and the terrace was a great place to relax that felt secluded and comfortable. The indoor bath is spacious and enjoyable! It was my girlfriend’s birthday when we checked in, and we were welcomed by balloons and a small cake in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The staff are friendly and everything we needed was provided to us. We recommend you try the floating breakfast!

Amazing room beautifully laid out booked this for our wedding night for 2 nights and the staff went out if their way to present the room beautifully rose petals in the huge tub and on the bed chocolates laid out with a small pot of tea and some cups everything about our stay was perfect the room and outside dip pool are totally enclosed no one can see in its perfect. The staff even came and filled the large Bath and frothed up the bubbles my wife loved it and was so happy highly recomended. I was so impressed I made a YouTube video search thailand dream honeymoon night luxury apartment.

Everything was perfect

Everything about this small villa in Chiang Mai was great. We arrived early around 9am when we were supposed to check in around 2pm. They allowed us to check in upon arrival and gave us breakfast after the set tiems for breakfast. I felt under the weather after eating some bad food and they gave me medicine very quickly when requested. The pool and shower were amazingly refreshing. I never expected a hotel of this caliber and high quality in Chiang Mai

I stayed a few days, specifically for the private pool as I’m a full on introvert, and was alone. It would have been nice if they offered to clean the pool. But that didn’t happen specially after it rained one time.

Beautiful room. High ceilings and lovely decor. Plunge pool refreshing and outdoor area very nice and private. Breakfast very generous, lots of food! All staff very accomadating and helpfull. Would definitely recommend and return.

Could do with English breakfast tea bags! No English speaking TV channels.
