Great location. Such a clean hotel for such good value. The pool is great. The air con could be better as there is only one setting but it got the job done.

Location is perfect, close to everything.

The staff had zero flexibility with a future booking. We stayed an extra day on the front end of our reservation and requested to cancel a 4th night to leave a day early. We asked 3 - 4 days in advance. The staff had zero flexibility. It’s a bit odd because the date was on a weekend in the first weekend in December. They had 100% certainty they would rent the room out but wanted to be paid twice - by me and whoever else rented it. It was a bit awkward staying there for a few days after they told me that. Other hotels have offered MUCH more flexibility with shorter stays. BB Mantra has a great location tho.

Very lovely little hotel! Such a nice vibe - pool area was beautiful for the price we paid and let’s in a great amount of sunshine , all the greenery looks exactly as the picture shows and we got the impression that it’s very well looked after. Our room was very nice and overlooked the pool (I think all the rooms do). Staff were very friendly and I liked how they put out a mini complimentary, continental breakfast for guests ( I believe this is only if you pay for your stay with cash and not via card payment)- it was a nice little touch to keep me going for the morning. They also sell drinks and snacks throughout the day for a very reasonable price! Location was decent lots of food markets within 20 mins of walking and shops and restaurants close by! We really enjoyed our stay here and felt very settled after only staying for 3 nights, would definitely recommend to people looking for a nice comfortable place to stay on a budget!

The shower was difficult to use without getting bathroom wet but apart from that everything was pleasant.

The location is perfect. The surrounding area is quiet but close to everything you need. There are many eateries and laundry facilities close by. This is my favourite part of the old city to stay in. The pool is the highlight of this hotel. The pool and gardens are well maintained and beautiful. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a nice size. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted us to call a songthaew a few times.

Breakfast is free when you pay cash, but may not be suitable for those who are more health conscious. The only reason I do not give a higher rating is because of the "windows" in the bathroom. The bathroom is next to the front door of the room and faces the walkway that is used to access the rooms. There is no glass in the window frame but rather just hard plastic blinds. It is meant to allow ventilation but the effect is that there is no sound proofing. It is extremely disturbing when other guests talk and slam doors. Also, everything you do in the bathroom can be heard in the walkway... That being said, overall, it is a great place to stay in the old city.

The location is great the staff is very helpful in organising transport and also they are very kind. We enjoyed our stay the bed is humongous and we had the chance of staying in a very quiet room. The minibar offers a small singha beer for 50 bath so that seems quite fair. Shower has hot water

Only down point would be that there are some paint stains on the floor and that there was a little leak in the bathroom. In the end nothing bad but that would be the only thing that doesn’t make it a 10 for us

The location was great in Old Chiang Mai. You could walk to some temples and easily get food closeby. The hotel pool was great, as was the air-conditioned room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bed linen and towels had frayed edges and were old. Some were stained and had holes in the linen. This was a real let down. Otherwise it was an affordable hotel in a good location.

Great location in the old town, lots of small bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful front desk, for tours, taxis and problem solving. Great room cleaning service and comfy bed. Quiet aircon and nice balcony. Breakfast not included, but… a simple and plentiful breakfast offered free for those who pay the hotel bill in cash.

Pool area quite small but appreciated at the end of a hot day visiting, bar drinks available. The hotel is not a recent building and is a little ‘tired’. But…well maintained, clean and comfortable so not a real problem.

We had a pool view room which had a lovely little outside space and sun lounger. A great place to relax by the pool. The room was not luxurious but comfortable with plenty of space and very clean. Although they dont officially offer breakfast, there were drinks and light food available in the mornings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was easy to book excursions, transport etc through them. They also very kindly took us to the hospital when our son needed to see a doctor. Fantastic location with plenty of restaurants, cafes, amenities and all the historical sights of Chiang Mai on the doorstep. Altogether excellent value for money.

Would be useful to have a better system for valuables. There was a lockable drawer in the room but ours didn't work properly.

We loved the pool, great spot to relax and take a break from the heat at times. We loved the second room we were in, with a pool view and balcony. We booked two different types of rooms by accident, and although the first one (standard room) was more basic and had less natural light it was still nice, with a small balcony spot looking at street. Great location too, in old town and lots of cafes and good food close by, plus the local fruit market where we got mangos every morning for cheap.

The staff were helpful enough but there was confusing communication at times between what we had emailed them about in advance and then what we were provided with once there. But overall, nice!
