Really beautiful bathrooms Lovely staff who were only too happy to help when we asked Quiet - there is a bar over the road, but they did not make much noise and it was pretty quiet by 10.30pm Stayed here after arriving on overnight train from BKK and liked it so much we stayed again when we returned from Pai Very close to morning market and evening food stalls near the old city walls so all your meals are covered. Can highly recommend the lady who cooks toast for breakfast over hot coals Would definitely stay again

It is not really a dislike, but a few more seats around the pool would be nice.

I have stayed at Chiang Mai Boutique House many times over a number of years and have to say it is hard to beat for the price. The cheaper rooms are very well appointed with tv, air con and tastefully decorated bathroom. The larger rooms are similarly appointed but with increased space and some extra furniture. The windows are colored glass affording subdued light resulting in a good nights sleep. The hotel has a small pool which was in constant use during my stay. The hotel, located near the moat in the Old City, is just around the corner from Chiang Mai Gate market and just a short distance from Saturday Night Walking Street. The young lady in reception (who also cleans the room and, I think, does the laundry) is extremely helpful with any queries you may have and will organize transport to the airport should you need it.

Be aware there is no elevator to upper floors.

Perfect location, can easily walk to most of the city. Staff were very friendly, same lady at reception every day who was always smiling and accommodating. Nice cold pool and relaxing area. The whole place felt very peaceful. Room was a good size and lovely shower. I would recommend the local restaurant Baan Na Na which was pretty much opposite!

Not really an issue and I’m sure they would if we asked but no one cleaned our room during our stay. Not sure if it was our fault and we needed to request this or not? You could get clean towels by the pool though so it was ok

Location was great! Close to pretty much everything - temples, restaurants, market, night markets, and other notable tourist spots in the Old City. The boutique was a quaint, beautiful place to stay. The staff was great and friendly. It was our second time to stay here, and will be staying here again soon, which is already booked. Highly recommended! 👍

This is one of my favorite places to stay at in Chiang Mai. Its very close to my favorite things like Chiang Mai old town (obviously), Chiang Mai breakfast world, a night food market and just tons of food and bars. I’ve been staying at Chiang Mai Boutique House for years going back to 2012. You won’t find anything like it for the price. But it’s the staff that really make the most of the place. So kind, friendly, professional and helpful. We will be back again.

Things are getting aged and tattered the owners should consider putting some money into new pool chairs and some odds and ends in the hotel. It deserves a little TLC.

The rooms are very cosy and look beautiful. The pool is lovely to hop into after a hot day out and about, and there are towels at the pool so you don’t have to use your room towels. It was just a short walk up the street to the night market, as well as lots of nice places to eat and a 7-Eleven.

The smell coming from the bathroom was quite unpleasant, almost like the vent was clogged or something, as it just smelt like silage and gas. It was worse when the bathroom fan was on.

Nice pool to refresh on, aircon in rooms, toulet, bathroom impressive.

Unfortunately, the bar in front/karaoke of the hotel can be quite loud until 01:00 AM (preventing you from sleeping until they close). Nothing that the hotel is responsible for but it will affect your stay. We found a pair of socks and a sun cream left behind by previous customers, which lead us to think that they didn’t cleaned all the spots of the room. Otherwise a good stay.

Clean, comfortable. We had a bit of a problem with the noise from the construction workers since they were installing internet lines at the moment we were there. We kindly asked the owner that we would like to cancel the rest of our stay, he was resonable and full of understanding, even himself canceled booking so we dont have to pay anything to the app. Really kind of him.

Cozy hotel with pool and a nice walking distance to the night market, temples, cafe and massage across the street. Cute cat. Friendly staff. We recommend staying here.

The pool is mostly shadowed all day, makes it cold. There were feathers in it. We could hear some noise from the bar across the street. The bed was a little hard.

The hotel was nice in general. The bathroom was extremely nice, with nice quality materials and nice hot water. The pool was also nice. The hall area has a 2 big tables, which makes it nice to work from there. The staff even thou they don't speak English was very nice.

The internet in the rooms wasn't good. The connection wasn't strong enough, and you had to come down to the hall to get good speed. If you need to work from the room, it's not suitable. Also, be careful with the AC; it's quite strong and at night you can get a cough easily.
