The place has a very nice vibe, it's authentic. The staff was very kind and helpful. Great location - right next to a market where you can find delicious shakes for 20 BHT or wonderful mango sticky rice for 30 BHT. If you are planning a trip for the weekend you will be right next to the Saturday market which is an amazing experience.

The room was very clean, there was everything needed. However the pillows were a bit big and hard (but we used the small decorative cushions so it was ok). If you get a room with a transom light over the door it might disturb you to sleep.

Frey was the best host. Easy going & friendly. My plane was delayed, and she stayed late to check me in and show me around. The room was beautiful. The aircon and shower worked perfectly. Rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels. The building itself is perfect for history buffs. Old school irons, typewriters, radio, etc, displayed in the venue. The location was excellent. Minutes walk from 711, night markets, old town gates, tattoo shops (Made My Day) , Kalm Museum, Yoga studio, and safe to walk around as solo female. I extended my stay for 3 more nights. I didn't want to leaveeeeeee :)

This is a very clean and quiet boutique hotel in a great location. I was very satisfied with my stay. The receptionist is so lovely and pleasant. She has a great attitude and was so helpful during my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong. It’s centrally located but on a quiet street. It’s located a one minute walk from the canal and a popular market which sells vegetables etc during the day and street food at night. It was also extremely economical. I would stay there again and I would recommend it to friends.

Love the location in this corner of Old Town Chiang Mai... short walk to market, temples and to lots of good food and coffee places. The Kalm Arts and Textile Gallery nearby is beautiful. Hotel feels like a home... rooms a little small but very cozy and nicely designed. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Nice to use the little common kitchen area and tables for your own breakfast. Love the House Cat Khun Mok who watches over everyone that comes and goes. Highly recommend this place to enjoy Chiang Mai

The staff was the sweetest ever, the place was very cute and homey and I found the beds although hard, extremely comfortable and really good for your back. Perfect location close to everything but very quiet at the same time.

Although it was very clean, there were some spots like the night lamps and the tv that were very dusty. The rooms are a bit small but enough for a couple nights. We had a balcony but had no access to it since it didn't have a door but a window. The installations are a little bit old in general.

great location, in a lovely street, very close to night food market but far enough from main road to hear much noise. coffee/tea, toast fruit were available for free to have some breakfast, there is a bakery just across the road where to buy some buns. staff speaks English, was helpful and gave us a map and some information about the city. rooms are cleaned daily and have everything you need

rooms are small and it was hard to find where to open 2 suitcases. the bed is against 3 walls so one person has to climb in from the bottom. noise travels down the corridor and we could hear people in the first room but ours were the last 2!

The staff were very friendly and helpful at Huen Hug. The room was comfortable and clean. The location had interesting places nearby eg the KALM textile and art museum and was very close to the Saturday night market where we had the most delicious and cheap food. Mr Mok (the cat) was cute!

Centrally located, next to the main markets, room is clean, spacious and nicely decorated, location is quite and nights are calm (except if there are some noisy guests who talk in the hall or slap the doors). Housekeeping is done daily, all the things are replenished. Staff is great and make your stay comfortable.

I had impression that the foot towel was not changed in all 5 days I stayed there and the floor was not wiped neither during my stay.

Hotel in the center of the old town in a quiet side street! All temples are within walking distance or by tuk-tuk. The night Market and 7/11 are a 3-minute walk away. There is a kitchen corner next to the reception. Delicious plentiful breakfasts. The use of space in the room is very well thought out. Employees are above all praise. We helped in everything: we ordered a taxi at a very acceptable cost, tuk-tuks, told everything about the Loi Kratong festival (gave a detailed plan of events), helped with the choice of restaurants (we don't eat spicy). In general, we were taken care of like family and we felt at home! We recommend it to everyone! Special thanks to Faya!
