Wonderful staff who helped us boom an excursion to see elephants, raft, and go to the sticky waterfalls. The receptionist also gave us a map and explained all of the things to do. The breakfast was convenient and delicious as well. It was also easy to walk to the main parts of the city. They also helped us book a taxi to the airport, and when I forgot my credit card in the taxi they reached out to me via what’s app to let me know. At that point it was too late for me to get it so they cut it up for me and sent me a picture. Such great customer service. I travel a lot and give it my highest recommendation. It

Our room was perfect for our stay with a little baby,in that the bed was in a separate room from the living space so we could put him to bed and stay up. Clean and spacious. The hotel staff are super friendly and professional.

The hotel flooded. This had never happened before and it was the worst flooding chiang mai had ever seen. We were reassured on multiple occasions by the hotel before coming that it had never flooded and we should still come. Despite this, the staff were so helpful and got us and our baby and luggage out promptly and safely. I would go back to this hotel in future if I was in chiang mai in a different season!

Staff at the hotel were wonderful. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. A special 'thank you' goes to James whose friendliness and great advice is exceptional. I'd also like to mention that as a gay couple we were treated with utmost respect by all staff. The hotel is quite beautifully designed and our room was spacious, pretty and comfortable. The pool area is a lovely place to relax and cool down after a day's sightseeing or a late night out.

We liked almost everything, only the pillows are quite thick and very hard which was a little uncomfortable. Didn't keep us from sleeping though. And it would be nice if breakfast had an additional rice-based choice like fried rice or porridge.

The people that work there all make it exceptional. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in thailand we felt the most welcome here. It’s close to the old city and is on a quiet street. The breakfast is also very affordable and made with love.

The hotel is clean, convenient and friendly. But it is an older style building and interior - If they would refurbish and renovate it would be a 4-5 star hotel with the service the provide. However, that’s also why it is affordable right now. So a bit of a catch 22.

The staf was very helpful and welcoming. The minute I stepped in I felt welcome. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has a good location, close to old city and chinatown so we mostly walked everywhere. We had breakfast only once, it was good value, plenty and well thought with multiple options.

The room, the furniture, the bathroom and the design was old and it was becoming obvious that the room at least needs a new paint job. The wifi was not good, at least from the room so I had to use my mobile but this is a minor inconvenience for me.

The Service is amazing and the rooms and the lodge are really well equipped with all your need for a fantastic stay in Chiang Mai. It’s a little out of the main tourist area while being close enough to all you need and makes touring from here really easy, as you avoid the busy areas and traffic. Loads of great restaurants walking distance like “It’s Good Kitchen & Grazie”. 7/11 a few minutes walk and they do a fabulous western breakfast at the lodge! Will be back again for sure - would highly recommend MCBL to anyone looking to book .. their rates are excellent too!

Amazing team, staff would do anything for you. I enjoyed it that much I extended my stay for an extra 6 nights. Very comfortable beds. I upgraded to a deluxe double as the room I was in was a little too dark, little natural light. Scooter rental is available as well as tours. Swimming pool is nice and refreshing. Free 2x bottles of water daily. WiFi is great, amazing speeds able to use Teams calls etc. Has a bar and can run a tab. Everywhere is walkable or you can get a grab or bolt. Plenty of recommendations to do things. ****Photos are from the deluxe double****

As the pool is in the garden, plenty of leaves, dead insects in the pool. Suggestion maybe leave the pool filtering on for longer.

Game changing is the staff... we arrived late but James gave us a heartly welcome with night swimming and cocktails at the pool (special thanks for this). The pool is salt instead of chloride, which we believed is way fresher. Also the staff gave us perfect info on all activities around. The hotel has a nice relaxed vibe and has all the facilities. The location is perfect and quiet, just off the busy ring road but close enough for Chang Mai city centre walking. Rooms are spacious, clean and have good beds. There is a very good French bakery nearby for perfect baguettes and patisserie. Big Tip for Chiang Mai. We arranged a very good private taxi and tour of two days with Mr.Limmy to Doi Suthep, sticky waterfall, Wat Phalat, Mae Taeng valley, Karen village, bamboo rafting tour through the Elephant parks (with great Elephant views), Doi Inthanon, Mae Ya waterfall and the Pa Pong Piang ricefields (our favorite).

Nice and spacious family room which consisted of 2 adjoining rooms, so two bathrooms and separate rooms for the kids, which was nice. The staff was very nice and friendly helped with information, laundry and anything we needed. Free parking was great. Good value for money. They clean the room everyday. there's a nice balcony. The room does not have enough dinning place for 4 people but you can eat in the lobby, which we did a few times.

Location about 15 minutes walk to center and not too many restaurants near the hotel itself. No elevator (they do help with the luggage if you need). Pool water was too cold to enter. they charged us about $3 for a broken glass which felt a bit petty after we had spent around $1400 on our stay there. Also they charge an extra 3% if you want to pay with credit card.

We absolutely loved this hotel, the breakfast was super… fresh fruit, everything freshly cooked to order… plenty of everything and delicious..

Love everything about this hotel. It was flawless… we were travelling in Vietnam and Thailand for 6 weeks and particularly loved this hotel. From the arrival drink and warm wash cloth from the delightful receptionist ( Nue, Nue) 😁… to the beautiful immaculate spacious rooms… we can’t say enough good things.. highly recommend this place. We needed a doctor and a taxi was called within minutes with no fuss, we were at the hospital within 10 mins of asking for help… nothing was a problem. Can’t thank them enough, staff and owner. Everyone seemed happy working there… always a good sign… thanks again
