The staff at Nine Hotel are lovely. They upgraded our room free of charge and were always happy to answer our questions and give us recommendations . The breakfast every day is really lovely, with lots of local produce used. The hotel itself is very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and the bed was super comfy. The shower and bath were also excellent. We absolutely loved our three days in Chiang Mai and Nine Hotel was a great place to based.

It was occasionally a bit noisy with the school next door but only for an hour or so in the morning and it probably depends where your room is

The rooms were great, the beds are amazing. Breakfast had a really special atmosphere, the staff designed each breakfast differently and it was really sweet. Last but not least, the staff were amazing, so kind...

Excellent and very large bed - but it took up most of the space in the room leaving little room for storage. Staff all very accommodating and tried hard to please. hotel is new and very clean. Great value for money.

Pool is small and sunbathing area only catches sun for a short while in the morning. The early morning noise from the adjacent school can be annoying at times. Both of these comments have to be taken in the light of the of the cost of the hotel which is relatively low and the hotel doesn’t pretend to be 5 star…

The location is very central in the old town of Chiang mai and the staff of nine hotel is amazingly friendly. We had a wonderful stay in our room on the third floor. There are bicycles you can take for free to roam around old town which was a great perk. The game room is also a lot of fun and the staff can prepare amazing cocktails. Also do not forget to go to the roof terrace which has an amazing view. We will definitely return here.

Nothing nine hotel can do about this however the waterpump on the roof makes a sound (almost like starting a vacuum or an old fridge). The sound is quite frequent and it kept us awake. We put ear plugs in so it didn’t bother us for the rest of the stay. Also note that there is a school next door and they start with music at 7 during the weekdays. Nothing the hotel can do anything about but something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

Service was superb. They are very personal and helped whenever there was a question. Beautiful pool to relax in. Nice morning breakfast but due to staffing you couldn’t have it early in the morning. The team works really hard and are doing multiple jobs at the hotel. The larger suites and the larger the room was the more amazing it was

The smallest more affordable room was nice but was crammed for us. It is likely just for 2 people max. Overall if I was to stay there again I would get the larger room and it would be perfect. My family members got the larger room and there just weren’t enough rooms for us to get one also.

We loved everything of this beautiful and charming hotel with a super friendly and professional staff! The hotel has a modern, but warm design with eye for detail in every corner. The rooms are spotless clean with comfortable beds, there is a beautiful swimming pool, the breakfast area is very nice, the people are very helpfull, ..... They serve Thai breakfast (yoghurt with fruit, fresh fruit, main Thai dish, soup, salad) like in a high level restaurant. I was a little concerned about this at the moment of booking but it was such a nice discovery! For people that really want to stick to the full continental breakfast, it is maybe not the best option, but important to know is that you could also eat bread or toast with chocopaste (usefull for the kids). Based on our experience, we would certainly book this hotel again!

We LOVED our stay at Nine Hotel and wished we had stayed longer. The hotel is located in a quiet street but close to the center. They gave us a free room upgrade. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was GREAT. The pool was nice for a quick dip and they had lots of amenities (a game room, free bike rental, proper working TV with free Netflix to use during your stay). Everyone from the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We just came back from a jungle trek and asked them if they would be able to arrange laundry for us in less than 24 hours, which they did.

Keep in mind that there is a school next door, so there was some noise in the morning. It didn’t bother us though.

the staff was amazing! we stayed three nights and enjoyed two delicious breakfasts served at our table with love and great care😍. also we loved the premises and look and feel of it. the plot is not very big and a bit hidden but the architecture also of the garden and poolside was nice. the place is fairly new and a nice combination of modern and thai. we booked a double and a familyroom with three separate beds for our three daughters (7-9-11). rooms were clean and with good airco. no view but you are in the centre of the town. everything is closeby and easy to get a taxi or tuktuk in the neighbour streets.

the hotel is next to a school which, at certain hours (morning!) chants with the whole school via speakers..also the kids obviously make (happy ;-)) sounds all day. it did not bother us since we enjoyed the buzz. (waterfalls in swimmingpool breaks the sound a bit and we were out a lot. )

I recently stayed in Nine Hotel Chiang Mai with my 2 sons in a 3-person “family room”. The hotel is centrally located, an easy walk to most anything you’d want to see in the Old City. The room and grounds were all kept very clean and all of the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. Our beds were comfortable, we appreciated the free water bottles each day and my sons also enjoyed the nice pool they have.

This was our second to last stop on a 3-week long trip in SE Asia and our most expensive room of all of them and also the smallest and most basic and the only one that breakfast wasn’t included in our rate (which I somehow missed when booking). Based on that, I would only say it wasn’t a great value for the money. One other small complaint was that they played loud music in the hallway until late at night (had to ask them to turn it off one night at 10:40p) - loud enough I could still hear it in the shower - which made trying to go to sleep early a challenge. All-in-all though, it’s a nice hotel.
