Be super careful staying here! OMG 😱 the stairs going down to the rooms & villas are beyond ridiculously steep!!! I can't believe this so-called resort didn't put in even a simple handrail

The extremely steep stairs do not have a handrail and my wife fell & was severely injured, her head and both of her knees Beware !!!!! The location is incredibly difficult to reach by car 🚙 or motorcycle the road is barely wide enough for one car! Scary 🫣

Amazing views Nice swimming pool Good food but pretty expensive (and they did not mentioned that it was super spicy, as they usually do)

The beach was not clean The service was not what we expected for this price The place is super isolated, they did not warn about this (especially if you want to rent a scooter, the nearest rental shop is +40min away and you are not sure if they have one)

If you enjoy privacy and want a peaceful retreat, this is the perfect place for you. Due to the steep and narrow paths on the island, combined with the resort being at the end of the island, getting there can take some time. However, the location and atmosphere of the accommodation, along with the pool and restaurant of the resort, will not disappoint you. The staff is polite and friendly. Breakfast is available in sets, and the food is delicious. There are kayaks available for free; you can paddle across to the other side, which is the Bang Bao pier (there is a 7-11 store there).

The room is quite old and has a musty smell; the pillow has mold on it. There are no shops or restaurants nearby within walking distance. There are quite a few monkeys. The accommodation is not suitable for disabled people or the elderly because the paths are quite steep.

The best pool with the best view in the whole of Koh Chang. The staff are amazingly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your holiday is enjoyable. The resort is very relaxing and perfect for couples who want a piece of paradise. The evenings are very quiet but it's only a short taxi journey should you want some night life. After which you can return and truly relax with just the noise of the waves gently lapping on the beach. Food is very good with a selection of western dishes as well as many exciting Thai choices. But ultimately The Bhuvarin resort is made special by the team that works there. They really have got it right. I can't describe exactly what I mean but there's no mistaking their true wish to give you a holiday from everyday life. I know they are 'doing their job' but the smiles and wishes are real. In summary if you want a beautiful piece of paradise with close options for more active pursuit then The Bhuvarin resort is the perfect place to stay. Already dreaming about our return in 2025.

We honestly can't find any dislikes ourselves. It's very isolated but for us that's perfect. Plus there's a free shuttle to the local busy areas eliminating that should it be an issue for you.

Stunning view balcony, quiet there is noise of nature birds, sea waves and sometimes monkeys. The area of the resturant pool and reception with the best view because of the high. Bathroom well spaced.

Roof of the balcony not always cover from rain. there is a lot of stairs depend where is your room, from beach to the reception there is something like 50 stairs but at least shady. Little bit unclean at the shower

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The aircon in our orginal room was not working too well so they upgraded us for free. The view from both the rooms and the pool were amazing and it was a very quiet peaceful area to stay in. The staff helped us book a taxi as well as a boat trip, they even gave us plasters and things to clean a wound after my friend cut her foot at the beach. Their passion fruit mojitos were amazing!

The food was just okay and a little overpriced for the quality of it.

The quiet atmosphere, great views, lovely pool, long breakfast time, wide menu, free transfer to the pier.

Some noisy guests (on one occasion) and who also used a drone. However the manager dealt with this satisfactorily.

Deluxe villa with a view are amazing, the endless pool with the view is amazing. It's almost at the end of the island a bit remote than the rest near to ban bangboa village, so very quiet no road noises. We just rent scooters to roam the island, the personnel is very attentionate and helpful. Big plus for us was that we were early in season, so very few people, very quiet. The food is also very nice, very good chef.

Some pp complain about the stairs, well yes there are some, especially if you are at sea level, but totally worth it. Makes a little glutes and legs workout ;-) If you have bad knees maybe ask for a higher room.

The views were great from our room and from the pool/restaurant area. Fresh and tasty breakfast, lovely staff. a very fun and comfortable stay, so ee extended and spent 4/5 nights here. we had a scooter so enjoyed the bang bao area alot.

very nice and beautiful place, that is what I need it for a long time, so quiet and peaceful. Swimming pool is a masterpeace. would definitely back there next time

just a bit far from all attractions, but if you want quiet and peace then is not a problem at all
