Good breakfast. Nice beach and swimming pools. The rooms have a fridge and everything. There are 2 ac units in the family bungalow. In general it is really great.

Location is a plus: it's quiet, far away from the narrow streets of Kai bae. But, it is far away from the narrow streets of Kai bae. Depends on what you seek. Getting there via the beach is ok during low tide, but during the full moon you can only walk there when it's 6 pm without getting wet. There are taxis. But they are a nuisance as on almost every island we've been. They sometimes want 300 baht for a 3km ride ("it's in the mountains" they say). Yeah, mountains. Even if it was in the Himalayas, the price is steeper than the Nanga Parbat Rakhiot face...

The position was awesome, the sight from the bungalow was astounding and the guys of the staff were really sweet and ready to help.

The only thing which could have been better is the air conditioning: the machine is kind of old, noisy and doesn't work properly.

A beautiful, peaceful location. Spent 16 days in one of the hillside bungalows. Comfortable, plenty of space and stunning views. On site restaurant serves great food. Breakfast is absolutely fine, despite what other reviews have said. A range of juices, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, eggs, ham, toast, eggs benedict, traditional Thai and omelettes. All staff are superb and friendly and couldn’t be more accommodating. Plenty of loungers and deck chairs around the 2 pools and on the beach. The lower pool is a great place to watch the sunset. 3 lovely cats on site as well! We didn’t hire a moped, taxis were cheap and it is a pleasant 20 minute stroll along the beach to the main town where there is a supermarket, lots of bars and restaurants. There might be a bit of wading around the closest headland when the tide is in but it is easy enough, even with children.

There is nothing to dislike but would advise keeping your doors locked as monkeys know how to open them!

Great location! Quiet beach and beautiful views. Good restaurant. They have Kajaks for rent and a little shadow on the beach.

We have stayed at Siam Bay for many years. The rooms have been upgraded as well a breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised. We appreciate all the work that has gone on since our last stay

All was ok.

The location is a little piece of heaven, paradise, it is beautiful, idyllic, peaceful. We stayed in a beach bungalow, it was spacious and had air con to keep the air cool. It had a spacious shower and dressing area. There is a tv and minibar. The prices are reasonable. I think the only thing that would've made it better was if there were a couple of chairs in the bungalow as there was no where to sit except the bed. The sea was warm and the bay is very shallow - you can walk out at least 150m. The monkeys that live in the jungle around the hotel are very entertaining. They often come down in the morning and see if they can steal any snickers from the minibars or if anyone has left anything tasty lying around! There are groundsmen who keep the beautiful gardens neat and tidy and if the monkeys are getting too nosy they trap them and release them back in the jungle.

They wanted to charge us for a new sheet because there was dye from a leather bracelet on it. Never heard of anything so ridiculous!

Super pet friendly

Not the best beach on the island, but a great beach to bring your dog to (no strays).

Seaside bungalows on the beach with a magnificent sunset view! Enjoy, relax, soak in the sun, enjoy the pool, sleep in a comfortable bed, and repeat, a few snorkeling trips and a jungle trek, wow:) loved our stay. On sire restaurant is ok, but there are much nocer ones in the little city, 5 mins ride by scooter or 35mins walk by the beach.

The resort was very quiet and picturesque, and the view of the beach, ocean and surrounding islands and jungle was idyllic. The staff at the resort where amongst the friendliest and most accommodating I have encountered in all of my time with them Thailand. They always have a smile on your face. Greeted you with enthusiasm and warm this and we are ready to assist with your needs no matter what. The bungalows and villas were spacious well appointed and clean . The gardens and beach immaculately maintained and the food whilst Thai orientated did try to accommodate western guests Would I return to this resort, most definitely  I look forward to returning in the not too distant future 

There was nothing to dislike 

We had three rooms at the Ocean and they were very comfortable, clean and had a great view. Breakfast was super with a wide selection of Thai dishes, western breakfast, salads and cereals. The restaurant is very nice at lunch or in the evening too. The beach was lovely and stunningly beautiful but at low tide some corals and rocks were exposed (this may change to be better or worse during the seasons). Low tide gives you the opportunity to walk far out to the island in front of the resort and discover nature. The surrounding nature is stunningly beautiful. This is a three star hotel and doesn't offer all the luxuries of 5 stars but we were very happy.
