The resort itself and areas to chill are fantastic. You pay more here than other resorts because of the pool. Which is worth it because it gets hot! The location is kinda isolated, which you will either love or hate. We love the peace and quiet. The nature sounds are beautiful, and the ac was good. The rooms were clean, and the staff was helpful. (Ming or Ning) and Jack were outstanding and deserve something special. The fact that we could use our credit card was very convenient. The resort also offers direct transport to the hotel, which was awesome for our first time.

The food was a bit pricey and could use some less fried options. There are a few other restaurants at klong koi Beach, but you have to have cash. So bring enough with you for your stay. There is taxi service at the end of the beach that runs all day and can take you to an atm or the other beaches. It would be nice for the hotel to offer shuttle service once a day at least, even if for a fee. The bathrooms need a little work, but they were clean and functional.

-I got my sea-shoes stolen that I had left in front of my room in order to not carry sand in. I don’t think it is the staff but maybe the guests staying at the hotel liked them and decided to take them away as souvenirs. so don’t leave stuff out!!! - it is not about the hotel but the sea is unfortunately not nice and not very clean because of the pier close to the beach

I you seek for a relaxing stay at the beach, this is the right choice; located at a nice beach at the southern coast of Ko Chang, there is hardly nothing disturbing close by; some other resorts and hotels at the beach offer possibilities to have lunch/dinner there or take a short walk or ride to Bang Bao, anything else is a “longer ride”, right place to enjoy calm und peace; we were off season so just a few other guest and reduced service in means of no massage treatments or restaurant/bar opening hours

Rocks in the water at the beach, need to be careful when going into the water; the stuff was friendly but a bit chaotic, when we arrived felt like they were surprised we came, although we had a booking; service was a bit low, not really proactive offering you new drinks/food

Great beachside place to relax. No crowds and a 5 minute taxi takes you to cool market on pontoons which was fun to walk around. It made a great break from chilling on the beach. There were also some good seafood restaurants there. Not expensive. Breakfast was good and the chill out beachside restaurant had good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices for the evening. (There are more beach side restaurants 2 minutes along the beach) Rooms are huge/spacious. Bed comfy. Air con good. Tbh I’m Not a big fan of the clunky wooden Thai furniture - but that’s just a personal opinion. One down point. The beach by Thai standards is very clean so it wouldn’t take much for the hotel to clean up the few bits of plastic that does wash up. We did it every day. Took five minutes. Overall 9/10 4 stars! Note!!!! Do not! take or hire motorbike on this far side of this beautiful island. 90 degree Snake Roads are narrow and steep. They are a death trap. Especially if wet. we had sun all days and we still saw many accidents and had people at our hotel in plaster casts. It reminded me of a ski resort for beginners! Take taxis! very cheap, very safe, and quick to arrive when booked at reception. Don’t spoil your holiday by getting injured. (Or worse!)

family with 2 teenage kids, looking to relax and be out of the hustle and bustle. and it ticked all the boxes!! we hired a car from Bangkok and drove over which was the best thing we did! easy drive and then we had car to explore island. the hotel has one of the best beaches and the vibe is super chilled. the hotel was comfortable and clean, staff were lovely. the food was lovely and breakfast was great. if your looking for loads to do and be around lots of people then this won’t be the place for you! but if you want to escape reality then this is a great choice.

Fantastic, beautiful place with beautiful beach and pool with a lot of natural shade due to the many trees on the area. Nice, large and clean family room. Very helpful and smiling staff who helped us with all our requests. Breakfast is absolutely delicious with fresh fruit, juices and dishes that vary from day to day. The braskfast area is just stunning with view over the sea and islands. Absolutely recommendable.

Transportation to the resort requires a 300 m walk on the beach after taking a taxi to Bangbao Beach. It is possible to reach the resort with a car but the last bit of road is rough and the taxi drivers demand extra payment for driving all the way to the hotel. The combined restaurant and beach bar is beautiful and has nice food but there is always quite loud popmusic, which disturbed the serenity and natural sounds of waves and birds.

wonderful location. Great people. very friendly. good food. beautiful resort. loved the typical Thai bungalow with wood ceilings and white walls. the pool is GREAT ! We loved every bit of our stay.

just a little sad that there are so many rocks in front of the hotel. but the next beach in front of the massage place is great for swimming. mind the sandflies. so bring repellant. we were there during rainy season…

Great spot - right on the beach. The pool and beach are beaut - the breakfast in the restaurant was really good. The rooms are spacious. This part of Koh Chang is perfect for those seeking some peace and quiet - with a bunch of bars and others restaurants a few hundred metres stroll away. Highly recommended!

The aircon sporadically shut off in our room. There’s no windows, and it was 40 degrees - so kind of a big deal. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Family sea view rooms are amazing. Spacious villas. High quality architecture, fixtures and fittings. The pool is stunning. Perfect temperature water and right on the beach with a stunning view over the bay. A short walk along the beach takes you to lots of Thai restaurants serving quality food at all times of the day. There was always plenty of sun beds available and we were here in high season. Free kayaks available for use as well as SUP boards for a small fee. Massage opportunities are the water edge at the same cost as other places along the beach. The whole place has a lovely authentic atmosphere that helped us immediately unwind and relax. Special mention to Jack in reception who looked after us perfectly from start to finish. We stayed in unit A2 which was the family sea view villa with the best location on the property in our opinion.

The restaurant for lunch and dinner could’ve been a little better. The food was ok but not quite up to the standard of the other restaurants along the beach. And the music was a little repetitive and loud. Especially at breakfast. Very small things though and not worth worrying about. This is definitely the place to stay on Bang Bao Beach.
