The resort is at a great location on Kai Bae beach, surrounded by lots of restaurants, shops and bars. The resort was very peaceful and the owners and staff were very welcoming, making us feel at home. Breakfast was good and the pool was welcoming after a hot day. The resort is not far from the beach with its beautiful warm sea. Would definitely recommend the Garden Resort, you can book with confidence. Hoping to be back one day. We really liked our stay at Garden Resort. The rooms are super comfy and spacious, the beds are soooo nice and soft 🤩 Rooms are equipped with a large fridge, coffee/tea/water and a smart tv with netflix and a large selection of movies and series. The (salt water) pool is very clean and spacious. Enough beds and pool towels are provided. The second night we changed rooms to a pool view room which seemed to have a bigger bed than the garden view room so that was nice! (Although not sure why there’s a difference) There is a 7/11 around the corner that is open 24/7 which is very convenient. Also lots of nice restaurants in the area. We did not have breakfast here so can not judge about that.

Just some small things that could be improved is that the bathroom was not super clean. There was kind of a bad smell and the shower drain was very filthy. When we used the bathroom at nighttime we could see quite a few cockroaches run off. Which I guess is inevitable in hot and humid countries but still not really what you want to experience when you go pee at night 😅

From the first moment of arriving “Mouse” greeted us and made us feel very welcome, showed us the facilities and how everything works and with a great sense of humour made our stay outstanding.

This was a lovely resort, along the main strip but rooms set back in the scenic gardens, so you could enjoy a quiet night's sleep. Our rooms were pleasant and I was particularly impressed with how comfortable the beds and pillows were, more of those of a 5-star resort. The pool was nice and shaded in parts which always helps, and if you needed any support or help staff or owner Mouse) were always there to help. Mouse is quite a character, and I enjoyed listening to how he developed the property and some of the pitfalls to be wary off if doing anything similar oneself, e.g. like building a house. Breakfast was excellent, good coffee and freshly made food along with a small buffet selection. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed the Garden Resort and can highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at Garden Resort Koh Chang! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Kai Bae, but it’s so peaceful and quiet you’d never know. The beautiful garden and inviting pool create a relaxing oasis. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. Mause, the owner, is incredibly helpful and made our stay extra special. We were lucky to catch his Sunday night concert—he’s fantastic on the guitar (he even impressed the teenagers!). The little resident dog, cat, and chicken also added so much charm, and the staff were always super friendly and full of smiles.

This is a great place to stay in Ko Chang and run extremely well by the owner Mause and his Thai wife . On arrival I was greeted by Mause who is a great and knowledgeable chap and was shown to my very nice room by the pool , a good sized room with all the amenities plus lots of films to watch on the tv if so desired . Breakfast was freshly cooked to order every morning featuring Asian and European dishes , I tried them all and all very good 😊. All the staff here are very polite and happy, the pool is excellent and uses a salt water cleaning system it's also open 24 hours if you fancy a late night dip 😊. In all I had a great relaxing time at the Garden Resort and will be back for sure I highly recommend this place . A big thank you to Mause and his wife and to all the staff at the Garden Resort .🙏🙏🙏.

The owner (Mouse) and his wife was very welcoming. They are very helpful, great sense of humour and always around.The staff were very kind and polite and always had a smile and kept the rooms lovely and clean. The family bungalow we stayed in was exceptional we had a connected door which worked out really good. Great view of the pool. Great location just a few minutes walk to the main area, near the beach and 7/11 and great restaurants and then back to the bungalows where all is quite . Mouse plays a mean tune on his electric guitar , he plays live music every Sunday at the Resort. We had a lovely time in Kai Bae and at the Resort, we were very sad to leave

We liked the location between the two best restaurants in the village (and at a 5-8 minute walk from the beach). We also liked the size of the bungalow, the cleanliness of the place, and the garden, beautifully lit up at night. Garden Resort is very good value for the money!

We had asked for an extra bed, which was unfortunately placed in the bungalow's kitchen which lacks air conditioning. This made sleeping there a bit uncomfortable for two of us, with one of us ending up sleeping on the living room sofa the last night. Our suggestion would be, in these sorts of situations, to move the living room set into the kitchen and place the extra bed in the living room (which has an excellent air conditioner).

We stayed there for 3 days and it’s fine. For the price that we paid (2300 THB) it is very, very good. But if the price is higher I would recommend other resorts on the beach side. It is quiet area and it is nice decorated, the breakfast is fine, there is espresso machine which is very important for us. The bungalow is simple, but clean. May be needs a renovation. The door to the bathroom was terrible you can broke it very easily.

I asked a quiet room away from the noice and received the bungalow just in front of the restaurant. If I am an owner I will exclude this bungalow from my list. That’s the only negative point that we had

Everything perfect! Came here with family and everyone was very happy. Rooms are spacious and clean , beds really comfy. They are cleaned every day. Location is right next to walking street of Kai bae but still quiet inside the resort. Maus the owner is funny and helpful. All staff was always friendly and smiling. There is a “all you can eat” breakfast available for 150baht pp which was always fresh and yummi! Will come back next time ! Thanks maus and team!!!
