Great pool, very well presented room. All the equipment you might need (fridge, kettle, tv, hairdryer, pool towels). There's someone on reception from 8 to 8, but otherwise, you are left to relax in private. You can rent a motorbike on site and food can be delivered. We recommend the little roadside food stalls on the way to old town for some inexpensive but very authentic Thai food. They sold some drinks (including beer) and snacks onsite. There was a walkable shop (turn left out of the hotel) and restaurant opposite, but otherwise you would need transport.

The place is so much better than the fotos! We were so surprised for what we got considering the price. The staff is so friendly and we loved the light that the room had. The pool area was so beautiful we decided to stay some days instead going to the beach. The place is a bit far from everything so you would definitely need a motorbike (taxis are expensive in comparison to the rest of Thailand: approx 500 TBH-11 Euros to the closest beach). With a motorbike you are in the town in 2 minutes. The town is lovely too :)

- The best way to explore anywhere in Thailand is by motorbike, so the fact this hotel is a little out the way was no problem for us. You can rent bikes from the hotel at 250 baht per day and it is a 20 minute walk into the old town which has a 7/11, many shops and restaurants - Clean pool with a nice overhead seating area - Bottles of water were given every day and laundry done at 50 baht/kg - Room was large with working WiFi, AC, and hot water. Bed was comfy, too. You have a fridge & kettle with coffee. - Nice balcony area included with seats, sun hit the balcony too - Another added touch is the use of many books that are available for you to read, in the room, and by the pool area. - We left on Christmas Eve, and the lovely hosts gifted us some Christmas accessories to wear, which was a lovely touch I mean, for the bargain price you are paying, you get excellent facilities and service. We loved staying here!

Beautiful and clean facility. Low price. Very friendly and helpful staff. A quiet place surrounded by nature. As for the location, renting a motorbike is a must, but renting a car or motorbike is common sense on Koh Lanta in the first place. I think is the best hotel in Thailand in the same price range. (I have more than 100 stays in hotels under 1000THB per night.)

Baan Chainarong in Koh Lanta is a great find. The people running the place are super friendly, making you feel at home despite a few language hiccups. Sorting that out is easy, though. The rooms are modern, well-kept, and just the right size. Beds are big and comfy, and there's a handy fridge. The air conditioning keeps things cool. The best part is the chill pool area with sunbeds – a perfect spot to relax. They do laundry for a decent 50 baht per kilo and rent out scooters for 250 baht daily. Situated by the main road, it's peaceful with light traffic and the hum of insects. A quick two-minute scooter ride takes you to Old Town Lanta, a cute area with shops and restaurants, giving off a laid-back vibe. For more action, a 15-minute scooter ride gets you to the lively west coast with bars, restaurants, beaches, and diving schools. Baan Chainarong is one of our top spots for a relaxed island getaway – totally recommended.

Incredible pool, absolutely loved it. Strong air con and nice modern room. It is only 15mins walk to 7-11 and Lanta Old Town. There is a little shop at reception that sells drinks, snacks and cup noodles. The roadside restaurant right opposite the entrance to the hotel makes amazing and cheap local food.

The bed is comfy but I found the pillows to be very big and firm which made it difficult for me to sleep. Despite this I would still come back to this hotel, we really enjoyed our 4 nights of relaxing here.

Absolutely loved this place booked for 3 nights stayed 12!! Rooms are super comfortable Old town 3 mins on scooter you could walk but because of the location of the hotel you definitely need a scooter to get about easily. Lovely pool area in the garden Nice area to sit and chill with a cold beer Brilliant value for money This will suit you if you just want to chill 😎

We loved our stay at Baan Chainarong. The hotel seems really new and modern. The room and all of the facilities were lovely, really big and so clean. We loved the huge pool! Each room has a really nice little terrace area (one of the cats came to join us there quite often, she was very cute). We just met one member of staff whilst we were there, she was so lovely and helpful. She answered questions for us and helped us with anything we needed. We also got our laundry done here and we hired a moped through the hotel too. Highly recommend!

we stayed at baan chainarong for 5 nights and really enjoyed our time there. we loved the location since it's a more quiet area and not on the "busy side" of the island. it's close to the old town which is a nice way to start your day and have breakfast there. the staff was lovely and helpful, we rented our motorbike at the hotel for 200 baht which is a fair price. we would come back!

the bathroom was smelly on some days, so we had to make sure the door is always closed.

Short walk to the old town. Amazing pool which we had to ourselves! You can rent a scooter from the hotel. Rooms were big and clean. Air con was good. Shower was great. Felt like more of a local place to stay as not too touristy round here. You could hear lots of wildlife and felt like you were staying in the jungle. Staff were great and organised us a taxi. Would definitely stay here again and wish we had stayed longer!

Some ants in the bathroom but this didn’t bother us.
