The best part of the stay was the host / owner. One of the nicest people I have met in all of Thailand! She was personable, kind, helpful and just so happy to have me there. I loved getting to know her and she made sure my stay was so phenomenal!! The property itself was really cute and beautifully maintained. There was a cozy reception area with lots of information and drinking water. The grounds were beautiful and the cottages each lovely!! Cute and friendly cats too, but they didn’t get up in your area id you didn’t want to pet them. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great beds!

The owner is such a lovely host and takes care of all your needs during the stay. The bungalows are super comfortable and very spacious, also loved the patio. Highly recommend this place!

It felt like a small home where we could retreat peacefully after our adventures on the island. Jing was a great host! They recommended a lot of places to visit and great restaurants to eat. Things are arranged with so much care and convenience, with very reasonable price. We loved it!!

The shower water pressure was in our house very low. But we also didn’t mention it to the staff, so maybe they could have done something about it… for us it worked fine enough not to complain.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lanta Happy Hill! We stayed for four nights and then headed to the South of Koh Lanta for our last 3 nights (meant to be). However we loved Happy Hill so much that we had to return again for our last night in Koh Lanta. The accomodation was perfect, clean, comfortable and spacious with a terrace to enjoy the garden. 5 minute walk to the beach where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. It's also just across the road from Yawee restaurant that has the most delicious Thai food for a very good price. The best part of Lanta Happy Hill was the host and family. You are such kind people and really went above and beyond for us. We can't thank you enough! Khoob-khun ka 🙏💗 We wish you all the best and hope to return some day. Shelley & Glen

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The setting is calm and beautiful, and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves during our stay. The staff were friendly, courteous, and welcoming, and very helpful, even offering us a ride to a nearby restaurant when we lacked transportation. They helped us book our onwards tickets as well, and gave many helpful suggestions for the island. The bungalow was charming and beautiful, very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The beach is just a short walk away, and with a motorbike, the whole island is yours to explore. We recommend highly to all, and would love to stay again!

Went there for 4 nights, ended up extending to 17 :). The staff are very attentive, provide all kinds of advice of local attractions, restaurants etc. Looooooove the tranquil setting middle of the hilly forest, so quiet an peaceful at night. Did some work as wi-fi is great (sunrise with a coffee and a laptop on the balcony - missing Koh Lanta already). Get yourself a bike and tour the whole island back and forth. Don't forget to pet the 2 cats, :P. Thank you for everything!

It’s a very peaceful little cottage. Quiet in the evenings. Our host was super friendly, kind and always solved any issues or requests with ease. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was a bit hard so we asked for a topper and softer pillows. Breakfast was filling and delicious. Very close to the beach. We loved our little balcony especially in the evenings.

Nothing we didn’t like - just to note that breakfast is 100 baht per person (it wasn’t clear).

Cute little traditional bungalow in an ideal location on Ko Lanta. The bungalow was clean, bed firm but really comfortable. The staff are fantastic especially Ying who makes your stay really great - even teaching us some Thai. She will go out of her way to inform you if local things happening which you may want to see - like Muay Thai (great fun). Rented scooter from the bungalow which was great to get about the Island. Beautiful beach 2 mins away. Ying arranged our 4 island tour which was fab and our transfer to Krabi airport. Had a fantastic time, would definitely stay again.

Ying was very hospitable and made the stay in Lanta welcoming. She was very helpful in recommendations for restaurants, transport and sights to see. We arrived earlier to check in than expected and Ying was kindly able to accommodate this. Breakfast is highly recommended!! Large portion size and healthy with plenty of fruits and no/little grease. Really liked the mosquito nets and the room was comfortable.

I think we should have stayed longer and had less time in Ao Nang.

The entire staff at this property is amazing! They really make your experience so much better as they are very welcoming, attentive, informative, and helpful in every way. The bungalows are cute and spread throughout a beautiful jungle landscape. The paid breakfast located on site is very tasty. They also offer motorbike rental delivery (250 baht per day) and laundry on-site, which is very convenient. Relax Beach is located within a 5-minute walk from the property. There are several restaurants within walking distance, but I would recommend renting a motorbike as there are many more great restaurants and cafes within a short drive. The wifi connectivity is inconsistent from within the bungalows (depending on how far your specific bungalow is from the wifi router), but the speeds from the main dining area are very fast. The A/C in the rooms works wonderfully. Daily housekeeping was offered. Overall, we had an amazing time at Lanta Happy Hill and would absolutely stay here again!

Since the bungalows are located within a jungle setting, it does get quite buggy throughout the day/evening, so using bug spray is a must if you want to sit out on your patio.
