The family villa was huge and so comfortable and clean. We were lucky enough to have the villa directly opposite the pool and the views were stunning. We stayed with 2 teenagers and our son took the sofa bed in the lounge. This room wasn't air conditioned but it had a fan and he didn't mind this, especially once he discovered there was YouTube on the tv! The property was very quiet and we often had the pool to ourselves, which we loved but if you want a lively hotel then this isn't for you! We stayed for Christmas and New year and the staff looked after us all very well. The restaurant was great, amazing fresh curries cooked to order and wonderful fresh juices, lassis and shakes too. The staff were all wonderful, helpful and so so friendly. A special mention to wonderful Bao who was so kind and accommodating, even when we locked ourselves out of the villa at 11pm and he came from his home to help us. A great location too, a short walk from the beach and a number of lovely restaurant restaurants that and bars- the Why Not bar and SameSame but Different bar were great beach bars and the Drunken sailor was a great restaurant on the Main Street too. A wonderfully special place that we didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

Nothing! It was perfect for all our needs!

The view from our sea villa was outstanding ! One of our favourite in koh kanta ! The room had everything we needed . Clean and comfortable . Sofa bed for child fine . Lovely balconies to enjoy the view . We loved the tree house !! So cool to sit in and relax on the bean bags with the stunning view . The staff were friendly and attentive to make our stay perfect . The breakfast was nice ( with a coupon system to select your breakfast for the day that they prepare and bring to the table ) a nice treat , instead of a help yourself buffet like other hotels . We enjoyed this relaxed approach as a change . Pool was stunning !

This place is amazing. Pool was great , staff was great, food was great. The rooms were so cool and different. All wooden finishings and great beds. We had a 2 bedroom with common area. It was much more than we expected.

The only complaint, if you could even call it that is that the restaurant is only open till 5pm. So if you’re looking for dinner it’s down the hill into town. Which is totally fine because there are multiple food options within a 15 min walk. The hill is no joke on the way back up tho, you will sweat. But if you’re looking to get some steps in. This place is perfect.

Very good value 2 bedroom pool villa for 4 adults + 1 child. Roomy rooms and bigger than expected private pool. The family owned resort had wonderfully friendly staff (from cleaners to front of house to drivers). Restaurant had decent fairly priced food (for an island), mostly the Thai style dishes were better, but some dishes too sweet. Overall felt like home.

Only issue is villas are not well insulated so heat in the middle of the day in the living room (fan, no A/C) is quite bad.

Very peaceful location (except stray dogs howling at night), amid the trees, very private. Watched monkeys from the balcony. Beautiful common areas - the pool, the restaurant, and the terrace in a tree! The kitchen was convenient and dinners on the balcony/terrace were awesome. Tip: most local restaurants would deliver the food if you walk in to order - just tell them the villa number and they’ll bring it over when ready.

The roof leaked on the bed during a big storm. They fixed it next day but since no more rain occurred, cannot say if it worked. Was not a fan of the restaurant food - various things I tasted were too oily and lacking flavour. Coffee (despite having a promising looking machine) wasn’t great either. Wifi was dropping out quite often. The price seemed quite high but I think you pay that due to the scarcity of accommodation in the lesser developed part of the island.

Everything was great. The two bed villa was perfect for us a family of two adults and three children (12/8/6). Staff were so friendly and couldn’t of helped more. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Pool and restaurant area were really nice. Quieter location towards bottom of island which we chose as we liked the beaches down this end more but so easy to get about with local tuk tuks to other areas.

Extremely friendly staff and you felt more like being part of the family. Extremely kid-friendly-place! Our 10-month old daughter was enjoying so much. Everything was possible; ride to old town, elephant sanctuary, laundry service, tickets to next destination -and with very good price compared to other hotels/agencies. Also many nice local and authentic restaurants near by!

Location is like 300m from the beach but it is fast to walk

The staff here were excellent and went above and beyond to help out. The views were amazing, the villa was gorgeous and very clean, the restaurant on site was good, location was perfect as its walking distance to the beach and some good restaurants and shops. It was my mother’s birthday while we stayed here and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for her. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Nothing - everything was great

Incredible view from the bedroom and tarrace. The pool was nice and the whole place is very specious. The staff is very welcoming. Location is great - very quiet, cozy restaurants nearby. Very close to the beach.

The place could be cleaner, when we arrived we have to returned out bathrobes becouse there have big stains on it ( from the past guests). Niche behind the bad was full of dirt.

The 3 bedroom pool villa is perfect for 2 couples. Lovely main pool which was very relaxing without constant music. It has swinging hammocks and comfortable sun beds. Spectacular views and visiting birds. Good food delivered to your villa from the restaurant. Excellent communication and staff.

We liked everything about the property but it’s not suitable for anyone who can’t manage a climb up to their villa. However, we didn’t like the area after being in the quieter KohJum.
