small family owned resort right on beach. You can take your towel and sit at the water. We ordered snacks and beer from the bar (closes at 5). Our bungalow was spotless, the aircon worked great, and it was serveiced daily. During the rain we could sit on the front deck and enjoy.... we rented scooters at a reasonable price direct from the resort. 200baht/day. This enabled us to explore the entire island at our leisure. Everyone had a smile for us and I have no complaints

I would say that the breakfast lacked inspiration. We only ate there once and quickly realized that there were many better offers around the island.

Great rooms (we had superior double) very large comfortable bed and nice patio. 2 min walk to beautiful quiet beach, nice clean white sand and very shallow clean ocean which you can snorkel in. There are some small rocks to walk over but there are a few places to the right where it's sandy. Didn't seem to have on site restaurant but plenty on beach and on road. We ate at the Silver spoon which offered a great menu but found a great Mexican place which served delicious food and very good prices, think it's called Tips Tacos. Would recommend this place and avoid the Bophut area, which we had to leave due to the polluted sea. But silver beach was so much better.

Food prices are a little high along the beach but you do get a nice view but can find cheaper great food along the main road.

This place is a real gem. It’s located right on the best beach on the island. The bungalow was super comfortable, great tv with Netflix and great aircon kept the room cool at all times. The restaurant is great, good breakfast and friendly staff. There is a massage platform also and the ladies there are great. What would be amazing would be some morning or evening yoga here. The water is so warm you can swim and snorkel for hours. The beach on the north half is good for swimming and chilling in the water and the southern half is great for snorkelling. I saw amazing sea life there! The beach in front of the hotel gets swept every day so there is no rubbish around. There are also places to eat dinner just up the road and a convenience store also a few minutes away. It is a quick songthaew or scooter ride to Lamai or Chaweng, but there are really nicer vibes on this beach so I was so happy to hang here.

- Pretty closed to the beach - Activities such as snorkeling, kayaking and paddling board. - Beach is great, many rocks but there are lots of fishes

- There is no shower shelf to put soap and shampoo on, we had to put on the floor :( - doesn't have cloth rack for drying wet cloth, we hang on the terrace rail.

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Cleaning service every day with new drinking water. Room and resort was also very quiet. Resort was on the beach, our room was a bit back from the beach but only 100m. Beach was clean with clear water and several bars and restaurants (from the other resorts including this one) to choose from. Very close to multiple good restaurants (5 min walk)

Bars and restaurants on the beach close quite early. Only bar on the beach open on Saturday night was one of the other resorts which also closed at 930pm so you need to go elsewhere for more nightlife. Not loads of restaurants nearby but enough choice for a few nights

EVERYTHING! It was the most beautiful stay we had in Thailand. We had the bungalow with sea view and it was literally 10 meters from the beach. We couldn’t be more happy when we got there and saw the place. We spent 5 nights (we couldn’t book for 7) and it was just perfect. Would spend 15 more days if possible. Staff is great, rooms are super comfortable and clean. You get water and room service everyday. 7 eleven is one block from the hotel and you also have great restaurants options next to it. The pool is great as well, we used it every day in the afternoons. You can also rent scooters. We did it one day but the rest of the days we just stayed in Crystal Beach that is the most beautiful one in the island. We were so sad we had to leave. Would recommend 100%.

We have just returned from a two week stay here. The location on the beautiful bay is incredible. It looks unreal. We stayed in a superior double room not a bungalow. The size of the room is very large, just what you need. The balcony looks out over the pool area and gardens which is wonderful. The team are amazing, the receptionist the bartenders, the cleaners and the gardeners are so friendly and attentive. The star of the show is Che. He couldn't have done anymore for us. He was so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and just seemed to be there for us day and night. I would highly reccomend this fantastic place. 10 out of 10. Thankyou Terry and Donna

Nothing concerning the hotel. If you want a bit more nightlife then you just jump on the taxi trucks which cost very little to Lamai, only takes 5 mins. The trucks frequently pass by the hotel on the main road.

The resort with its garden and access to a sort of semi-private beach was wonderful, a paradise on Earth! The personnel was incredibly polite and service-minded, though it is rather common in Thailand. Breakfast was reach and tasty. Even the massage tent was right on site. The restaurant was of good quality and reasonable prices. Scooter rent was also available on site. During our travel to Thailand we stayed at 5 locations. I found this one the most comfortable with the rather good balance of silence and active life around.

The beach was publicly accessed, even the sign on the street was showing the direction to the beach through the hotel, so it was crowded on the beach and the territory of the resort was having visitors all the time passing through, while the neighbouring resorts were having "no trespassing" signs. The food in the restaurant was very good, but the arrangements of tables could have been more cozy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thong Takien resort. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Loved the pillows! Room cleaned each day. All the staff were very friendly and the lady on reception was outstanding in her customer service going over and above to help me with any request I had. This hotel is located directly on a beautiful beach and also has a nice swimming pool. Food in the hotel restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Beautiful well maintained grounds. The Fire show outside Crystal Bay Yacht Club resort on Tuesday & Friday nights well worth seeing. Loved Thong Takian resort and will definitely return next year!!!!

Not an ideal place if you want to explore, not much in the local area and very limited options for dining. We ate at the Silver Spoon restaurant 4 times and it was excellent!

Absolutely wonderful bungalows (3.5 star) and grounds. Very clean. Copious mature greenery lined the short walk to the beach. Loved the smallish pool - very comfortable for adults lounging in the water. Beach had lots of shade options on the sand after 11 am, all the way until sunset. Lots of sunny areas on the sand too! No seaweed! Swimming is best at high tide but possible at low tide…with more rocks underfoot. Great staff. Lots of good local dining options (~12) within 5 minute walk.

Beach is ~200 m long (very small) and attracts several hundred sunbathers and swimmers between 9 am and 4:30 pm. Extremely busy with people. No sense of relaxation or quiet. Fairly rocky underwater, but there are some areas of the beach without rocks.
