Clean, friendly

We came back to our hotel in the evenings and wanted to sit down and watch the fire show but we were made leave as we didn’t want a drink (staff told us we needed time buy a drink to watch the fire show) I think this is very unfair if we have paid 4 nights accommodation in your hotel and you won’t let us sit down for 20 minutes to relax by the beach and watch the fire show.

Great location! Loved the room, really comfy bed, great aircon, modern and clean throughout and liked the fact Netflix was available. We had breakfast lunch and dinner here and all the food was great. Cocktails were nice too.

Pool area felt like it was prioritised for external customers with a lot of reserved signs out first thing. Later found out that they aren’t necessarily pre reserved but available for walk in people to purchase. A lot of people staying at the hotel were unable to get sunbeds which is really bad.

Staff of the pool bar are all very kind, pool with sea view, food and drinks were great, location is perfect, very clean, fire shows at night were great, great atmosphere

The hotel is very clean and everything looks new. The staff was very friendly and willing to help us. The rooms are comfortable and the toilet was great. We also upgraded from the standard to the deluxe room after a few nights and it was nicer with a bit more space and a more classic decoration (the standard room has a more "pop" decoration style with orange and red colors). The location is just perfect, in front of the beach and in the middle of the walking street of Chaweng full of restaurants and bars, but we did not get to hear any noises from the street. The restaurant is slightly more expensive than the options nearby but they make great pizza! A few suggestions would be to add more plants in the common areas to balance with all the concrete and also the music on the swimming pool could be more relaxing, especially during the day. We personally did not enjoy the electronic music playing all the time. Make sure to request a room away from the pool if you have issues to sleep with music playing. Our room was closer to the reception and from there it was very quiet (except airplanes, but they just go until 10 pm). overall a great stay.

It's a pretty new hotel right in the middle of all the action and Ark bar next door. It's close to the airport and it didn't cost much in a taxi to get there The pool area and the food are excellent. The staff are so friendly and the manager of the place came and sat with me for a chat. I was there over New years Eve, it was very busy and vibrant! The room has a large double bed with a patio. The rooms are equipped with a nice TV with netflix & YouTube , fridge and a safe. The room was fine for me as a solo traveller and I'm sure they have larger rooms for families. Met some great people also staying at the hotel around the pool area and at the evenings there is a fire display on the beach I really enjoyed my stay there. If you want to be In the middle of all the night life, shops and restaurants, this is the place to be.

My only issue which is not the hotels fault was there were young teens in the opposite rooms who were screaming, singing and shouting until 4am. A few of the other residents complained and the final couple of nights they toned it down. Just a word of warning, it's not a queit hotel and you will hear music until 3am coming from the pool DJ. If your room is on the main walk through, you will hear everyone walking through. I didn't mind but if you are going for peace and quiet, ask for a room away from the main walk through.

Location (right beside Ark Bar and near all the nightlife and restaurants in Chaweng) and the food (we had amazing green curry and tom kha gai there). The pool area is very nice and chill, a good alternative for it's brother hotel Ark Bar. By the way, in comparison to Ark Bar the rooms are basically the same thing, but the shower at Love was much better than at Ark Bar (no temperature/pressure oscilations) and the air conditioner seemed to be stronger. Also the guests are completely different, most of them were young couples and not single middle eastarn or indian guys.

The ceiling of my room (3202) had some weird stains that could easily be painted, especially now that Samui is still in low season and the hotel is not busy. There was also a lose tile near the shower that could cause and accident to someone, but luckily we spotted it on the first day. The light switches are a bit crazy, like the ones near the bedroom switch on the entrance light and the one near the entrance switches on the bed area light. But it's ok, it's always been like that since Love was still Ark Bar.

You get a sense of luxury at a fair price. The pool just by the beach is very nice indeed - but I sure wouldn’t stay in the rooms adjacent to it - the music would drive me crazy. I stayed in the main complex closer to the reception and even there you get your share of the beats. Thankfully it subsides at night. You also look straight into the rooms across the narrow alley, so the curtains see a lot of use. Very clean and modern room, but the light switches were very illogically split between the left and right side of the bed. Parking lot for your motorbike, but always close to full. I had no issues, though. The hotel is smack in the middle of downtown Chaweng, and everything is within walking distance. Would definite come back.

We stayed at Love Beach Resort for about nine days and overall we were satisfied with the experience. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, good A/C, hot water, a fridge, kettle, safe, and daily cleaning and water. The whole resort was clean with a "new" feeling and brightly coloured decor. I don't know who is responsible for cleaning the washrooms by the pool but they were the cleanest most well maintained and stocked washrooms anywhere that we travelled in Southeast Asia and I really appreciated the efforts of the staff to keep it that way. We ate breakfast and had drinks at the resort which was tasty and the servers were always around and quick to attend to your needs. We watched the fire show on the beach at night and enjoyed the relaxed and entertaining experience. The pool area was lovely with lots of seating available and umbrellas and there were floaties available for anyone to use. There was also a massage area by the pool but we did not use it. Overall the staff were really helpful and I felt the resort provided good value. I think the main thing to be aware of if you come here is that this is a party area of Koh Samui, steps away from the main street with many bars and restaurants. If you are looking for this type of experience and want to be right in the heart of the action then it is not a problem but if you are expecting a really quiet peaceful experience you will be disappointed.

The beach in front of the resort was beautiful and protected in the ocean from the huge waves that we saw in other parts of Chaweng Beach but it was rocky in the water and you need to wear water shoes to be comfortable. We didn't bring ours so we didn't swim in the ocean as much. I didn't realize that we were in a direct flightpath and that there are loud planes going over the resort day and night (but not when we were sleeping). I probably still would have stayed there but it was really loud so its just something to be aware of. There was also music playing by the pool all the time and a DJ playing songs. This was nice at times but sometimes it is also just nice to get a break from it for a bit.

The staff were phenomenal. A big shout out to all the staff, including Neo, the manager who makes this hotel one of the best for customers. All the amenities were close by, and food was reasonably priced within the hotel. There are 2 pools, rooms were spacious and extremely clean, and I highly recommend the premium rooms here. There was not much I could fault.

This is being ultra critical, so dont be put off I stayed in the premium rooms, but people said the beds were a bit firm in the standard rooms. The water on this part of the beach isn't the best, and 10 minutes down is better for ocean swimmers. No lifts. If you have a disability, request ground level rooms. May be a bit noisy if your room is close to the beach, but that will be similar at any beachfront hotel.
