Banbua Grand Udon Hotel so far was one of the best hotel in Udon Thani. The location is a win-win it's nearby the Bus station, Central Plaza and few meter walk to UD-Down night market also when you wanted to visit Bangkok Hospital for check up it's just a corner away. Me and my Husband visited Udon Thani for our wedding honeymoon and stayed in this hotel. We are truly exceptional satisfied with the services! They have pleasing, great and respectful staffs, good breakfast, neat, tidy, and spacious room! What's more great is that they have a pool to relax when you ever want to dip in! Stayed Jan 14-17 2024. The room is big and clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff at reception is polite and friendly and is fluent in English so no issue in asking for direction, places to eat. WiFi is good and shower water pressure is strong. Hotel has a coffee house and they have a happy hour from 3-5 pm. The hotel is a standout along the street of bars (organised and well behaved) and there is a DIY laundry and 2 massage parlours along the street. Central Plaza shopping mall is about 8 minutes walk away and the bus terminal is across the road from Central Plaza (another 5 minutes). The train station is about 10 minutes away on food. Next to the train station are - night stalls, food court, restaurants and a supermarket

Our room faces the back of a market and bazaar. Can hear the noise from there in the evening.

Location is excellent.Rooms/bed spacious and comfortable. Staff helpful and smiling. Pool could use a few more lounges, but then there's not a lot of room. Pool attendant/bartender makes lovely drinks and the food served npoolside was quite nice. Breakfast buffet was good - the cook on station makes a lovely omelet and there's a decent variety of all else. Loved the espresso machine in the room, once I figured it out with the help of a staff member when we called the front desk.

Not much. My wife's only complaint was that the parking was mostly uncovered and the sun hot

First time in this hotel, but already visited this area several times: Nice location, some minimal noise from the area. Short walk to shopping center and evening market. Parking space in good shape. Good WIFI. Good room facilities, nice bed, good working airco. Small balcony. Average breakfast in cramped breakfast room.

1-The breakfast restaurant has space issues. The tables for couples are too large and this makes that it's not easy to pass other persons walking around with their plates. At 8.15 in the morning a lot of the breakfast food was already gone and did not seem to be topped up. No so logical placing of the (single) coffee machine gave a long cue and issues for others to get to the bread. Next time we are going to skip breakfast here. 2- Multiple mosquitos in the bed room, hard to kill them, but they got us during the night..... Not sure if we would stay here again. We are visiting this area a couple times a year and have other options nearby.

Have stayed in many hotels in Thailand in the 10 years we have been living here. I think that this hotel ranks at the top of my list! Most of the time we find the breakfast are cold but here they leave the hot plates on! There is a rain shower and unlike other places the water pressure is very good. Also the water was still hot at 1am.

The only thing that we would like to see are some fans to cover the outside seats around the bar area.

Never had the hotel buffet breakfast , though many guests did . I prefer an English breakfast that can be had at the Brick-house bar / restaurant ( turn right out of the hotel and 50 yards on the right ) The staff were very friendly and the manager was polite , friendly and helpful . The hotel was spotless and super comfortable bed with linen sheets . Excellent spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water and pressure from the shower , both vertical sliding and overhead rain shower . A fair selection of English speaking movies on the large bedroom TV . I have stayed in many Thai hotels and the Banbua Grand is one of the best .

My only criticism was on leaving the hotel there is a steep section of the drive leading to the road . When it rains it can be slippery . There should be a set of steps with a handrail .

The staff are 5 star and nothing is too much for them to ensure your stay is perfect. Everyone is polite, courteous and genuine! The manager is exactly the same and leads by example. "Let me know if there is anything I can do to make your stay better?"at least once a day, whilst not overwhelming you. We had a connecting room, it was fantastic. Facilities great,breakfast great,no complaints. Even a poolside happy 2 hours , perfect ! Our 2nd stay there and we'll be back.

If I was to be picky, I couldn't find anything to fault.

Great Hotel, had to stay in Udon for about 4 Weeks for buisiness. The Rooms are new, very neat and clean. The staff is super kind, courteous and attentive. After a few days they allready knew wich kind of egg I prefer for breakfast and had it prepared shortly after I sat down. In the end I even received a small gift from the chef with whom I talked a few times during breakfast. That never happend to me in another Hotel. Actually I was quite stunned. Greetings and thanks again to the staff and specially the chef. Might have been the best stay I ever had. Hopefully I have to go to Udon again one day.

Appreciate the location, pool, room w balcony, elevators, housekeeping and staff.

The gym is limited and one can't easily access free weights without injuring/pinching fingers as the rack is poorly designed and there are limited machines.The surrounding view of adjacent site is a bit of an eyesore but not much can be done about that.

one of the better options to stay in the heart of Udon Thani. walking distance to Central shopping mall and UDtown where you have endless food options. it's located in a street full of lady bars so outside can be noisy at night but the rooms are pretty sound proofed so i had no issues in that matter. The swimming pool is great, and have a nice gym as well. rooms are very comfortable and clean. its great to have a balcony.

the view is not great but that's part of staying in the center of town. I wish the pool was a bit bigger. more expensive than other options near by.
