The hotel's location is hard to beat, on the edge of the medina and just a short walk to everything else, the beach and the railway station. It's a short, cheap taxi ride to the long distance louage station. The rooms are small, but comfortable with very nice patio areas to relax in. The showers/ toilets were super clean and in good working order, as was the wifi. Staff gave helpful advice related to my travel plans.

I chose a room that didn't have AC and, as it was the middle of summer, it was uncomfortably hot at night with the fan not helping much. This was my choice, but it is an important consideration if you are going in summer.

The location was perfect and the staff a genuine delight- a tremendous mixture of happiness but without infringing on your personal space. It was clean, always open and there’s a lot open space. Pound for pound the best place I’ve visited in Tunisia so far, a lot of other places could learn from this very professional and organised business.

Unfortunately I think some people in the property learned to speak in a helicopter. A common area for phone calls or the occasional suggestion to loud people to quieten down would complete this hotel- although I’m aware this is a difficult task to perform.

Concerning Hotel Paris, all the item are splendid except two items. One they cannot accept credit card. Second actually the location is so near (just only 10 steps) from the Main Entrance with Mosaic Wall, such statement isn’t written in Booking’s guidance. So I took some time to find your Hotel very late at night.

Great location, near the train station, in the medina, and close to the beach. Excellent value, hostel prices for a private room, with lots of common spaces -- a small kitchen, living room, rooftop and courtyard. I was very happy to have an electric tea kettle available to make coffee in the morning (a rare find in Tunisia). Lots of blankets available since medina buildings are cold in the winter.

The quality of the rooms is variable, I got a great room, but you could have one where the window opens towards the inside where people hang out and smoke. The rooms are small, but functional. No sound insulation whatsoever.

I loved the location in the medina and near to shops and bakeries. Lots of friendly staff in the hotel. The cleaning was excellent and the property was spotless. There was a nice roof patio area to relax. I could walk to the train station in minutes to get the morning train to El Jem and also to Monastir and Mahdia. The restaurant next door was good value either tasty food. Staff were helpful. I was here during Ramadan and the staff were able to.suggest where to eat, as most restaurants and cafes were shut. This was very helpful. Tunisia at this time was very peaceful and relaxing.

Very good location and easy to locate. The guy who check in me around afternoon time is super kind as he is able to put me in to a better room. At first he put in the room without window and I request for change. it didn't bother me if I only slept for a night but I'm staying for four nights. So if you stay longer you may let the staff know to maybe change for a room with window or more bright room. I think if you not coming in the peak period, I'm sure they able to accommodate your request. There is also a share kitchen, fridge and kettle where you can use. (don't expect much, pretty basic) The female share toilet is really clean and modern. It seem like they just renovated the toilet and the shower water pressure are strong. The housekeeper clean the toilet twice a day. I stay in the room 12 and is pretty near the toilet. If not you might need to walk a little as also stated by some other reviewer. Also the staff speak perfect english which I really appreciate. Sometimes google translate is pretty tiring as it always not giving u the right translate.

I didn't know that they accept payment in Euro. The price is better to pay in Euro rather than in Dinar. The wifi is strong if you in the common area but in my room the connection is more like intermittent but bearable..u just need to connect and reconnect. I think could not fault the hotel as my Orange 4g also do not have the connection in the room. 🤷

It was a simple stay in a private room with a shared bathroom right in the middle of the medina. Location is great if you want to explore the Medina in Sousse. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. I only stayed one night and it was fine.

They sprayed the room with a deodorizer when checking me in and it was just too strong of a smell. Took a couple of hours with the fan to get rid of it. Wifi didn't work well in the room, but that was like a lot of places in Tunisia. The Medina area closes quite early, so it's completely quiet at night. I returned at 11 one night and it was completely deserted. Not a problem for me, but just something to note.

As this was the second time my friend and I stayed in this hotel, I think anyone could deduce that we really like it. Very well located in the medina, close to the train and bus stations, it is quite basic, but very clean and cosy, with a terrace where you can stay and even socialize, if you choose to. The wi-fi was the best in Tunisia, and the AC very well adjusted to the dimensions of the room. They do not serve breakfast, but there are a lot of restaurants, pubs, food stalls, etc. in the neighbourhood. Staff at the reception desk are prompt and always willing to help.

All was all right, except for some "visitors" - ants - which appeared for the first time now. I hope the personnel will take measures.

The Hotel Paris was conveniently located in a safe area, just a 6-minute walk from the train station. The hotel was situated within the historic walled city, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and other attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service, attending to our needs attentively. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sousse.

While the hotel and staff were excellent, providing clearer written directions and being more accommodating with language barriers would have further improved the experience. A little extra patience goes a long way when helping guests navigate your city. Example: telling people to walk down the street in search of a restaurant isn’t enough details, especially when the restaurant is on the top floor. Just a little tip to help improve your guest relations.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Paris in the heart of Medina, Sousse, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The owner is an amazing person who is doing a wonderful job running this charming hotel. The staff are professional, always smiling, and eager to assist with any needs. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in maintaining the rooms and common areas is impressive. The location of Hotel Paris is perfect, situated right in the heart of Medina. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the vibrant surroundings and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We highly recommend Hotel Paris to anyone visiting Sousse. It’s a delightful place to stay, and we’re confident that you won’t regret choosing this wonderful hotel. There are bedrooms with bathroom inside and bedrooms with shared bathroom. I haven’t read the details, and we had a bedroom with no bathroom inside, but it did not ruin our stay. The sheared bathrooms were spotless. For the money you pay, you receive much more value. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Paris for making our stay so memorable
