Amazing service. Our maître d'hôtel Yiğit Sarikaya met us at the entrance, arranged for our car to be parked and luggage to be taken to the room. Then we had a technical issue with AC in our room (and it was very hot), so he immediately offered us a free upgrade to a big 3-room suite. This became the highlight of our stay in Ankara. The rooms are unique and stylish, bathrooms are huge with both showers and bathtubs, and a lot of products and little extras. The location is right outside Ankara castle on the main hill. Yiğit also helped us with recommendations around the city and even other cities as we were on a road trip. Highly recommend!

The vibe ✨️

I have booked a room for 4 person and paid the price for 4 person, howevre, the complimentary items (water, coffee cups, slippers, and other toiletries) were only provided for 2 person. I have extended the stay due to a flight change for a night, and the price was taken to the original and not the promised discount of booking the hotel room on the note given. Once you enter the hotel lobby, there is no sign of reception desk, and i found the breakfast average. Besides that, the location, the room, and the atmosphere is just great. And the restaurant serves a good dinner on the good city overlooking terrace.

1. The room was very spacious and comfortable (the hotel ceilings are very high like in a palace). 2. There were all necessary bath utilities in the bathroom (dental kit, shower gel and shampoo, bath sponge, hairdryer, hand towels, big shower towels, foot towel, shower cap). 3. New bottles of water were brought each and every day. 4. The room was cleaned up each and every day. 5. The laundry service was comfortable and price affordable. The clothes were washed up clean and even ironed. 6. The hotel itself is mysterious, charming with notes of history (it was once a caravanserai). You should step inside to feel that charming atmosphere. 7. The hotel is located nearby the famous Ankara Kale - the historical castle from which the city can be viewed very well. 8. Mr.Yiğit Sarikaya, the manager of the hotel, was very kind and helpful during our stay in Ankara. His English is brilliant. 9. Due to the hotel is located high in the hills the city view is brilliant from it.

1. The hotel is a little bit far from the city center, I mean cafes and restaurants, malls, city sightseeings. 2. As the hotel is located high in the hills it's a little bit difficult for strollings.

The hotel maintained impeccable cleanliness throughout, ensuring a pristine environment for guests. The room provided was spacious and well-appointed, with the beds offering exceptional comfort. The option to select from a variety of pillows added a personalized touch to the accommodation. One could even chose an orthopaedic pillow. Convenient car parking . The breakfast was being served on the table rather than a buffet. Additionally, the proximity to Ankara Castle and the charming bazaar adjacent to the hotel provided ample opportunities for exploration and immersion in the local culture.

I was surprised to learn from reception that irons are not provided in guest rooms and that ironing services through room service incur an additional charge. This policy, unlike those of other establishments, inconveniences guests and detracts from the overall experience. I must admit that this is the first instance in which I have encountered such a rule. While I understand the importance of adhering to hotel policies and regulations, I would advise the management to reconsider this particular policy. Providing ironing facilities in guest rooms is not only a common amenity expected by many travelers but also contributes to enhancing the overall guest experience.

Anakara was supposed to be just a stop on the way by bus from Goreme in Cappadocia to Istanbul by train until we read about this hotel that used to be a caravanserai, and decided to stay 2 nights. We absolutely loved our room! It had a sitting area and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bathtub. Everything in the hotel was luxurious from the high thread count of the linen, to the choice if pillows, the turn down service with the cute pillow gift (a little Turkish Delight). We had been on the road for more than 2 weeks and the pampering was very welcome. The hotel's Safranhan Brasserie served really good food. The hotel is right next to the very interesting Rahmi Koc Museum (free entrance for hotel guests) and across from the entrance to the Ankara Castle. Around it are little shops and restaurants. It is also about 400 meters to the superb Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, by itself a reason to come to Ankara.

Comfort and convenience in a distinctive, historic property. Location is ideal, within walking distance (if you don't mind a few slopes) of all major must-see sites.

There is a pervasive issue we experienced at all hotels we have used in Turkey: at check-in, reception always failed to welcome or even acknowledge the wife. We were traveling in Turkey because the wife wanted to do so. Being ignored left a bad impression. Fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice.

Wonderful that it is a restored caravansery with attached museum with vignettes of what the stores would have looked like and merchandise they would purvey. Lovely restaurant terrace with very good food and great view of Ankara skyline. Great location near the wonderful archeology museum and citadel shopping area.. very friendly and helpful staff. Great bathroom with both bath and glass doored large shower!Unique and lovely room decore.

Needed alternative to just a duvet when very hot weather such as a top sheet and cotton blanket. Room lighting was quite dark, no good reading light.

Fabulous converted inn opposite Ankara castle. Every room is unique and there is a modern extension on the back with a lovely restaurant with views across the city and a quirky museum. The castle area is a popular tourist destination but the hotel was always quiet while we were there. Restaurant serves a full Turkish breakfast and very good lunch and evening menu. Staff were exceptionally helpful.

There wasn't anything to dislike as long as you recognise it is a beautiful old building lovingly restored but you must be prepared to use stairs as it is built into the side of the hill so you step down into the hotel from the entrance and the restaurant is further down the hill.

Absolutely stunning and one of the most unique hotels I've seen. Gorgeously renovated, it comes with all the comforts of a modern facility but offers an exciting and quite authentic experience of staying in what used to be a karavansaray (roadside inn). The hotel feels luxurious and the rooms are extremely spacious, with soaring ceilings and lovely views of the city. Everything from coffee (Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules and nicely explained instructions) to a pillow menu (!) is geared towards high-end comfort, yet the price is not extreme. The location is equally appreciated - it sits just across the street from a charming and largely renovated "kale", packed with charming stores and cafes and loads of instagrammable spots. Hotel is quick to secure a taxi service and useful information for excursions farther out. The hotel restaurant Safranhan boasts an amazing terrace, where eating either the plentiful and tasty breakfast or an elegant, flavorful dinner is a world-class experience.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We heard from a couple of foreigners living in Ankara that the "kale" neighborhood can be rough at night, but we never felt unsafe and everyone in the neighborhood was extremely friendly and nice (as are all the people we encountered in Ankara). The hotel security definitely leaves you with no reason to worry about the safety of your vehicle (which is parked for free!) or the belongings in your rooms.

The staff here couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. They were incredibly keen to help with any questions we asked, including helping us with where to explore and booking transport. The building and room was absolutely beautiful and everything was incredibly clean. The breakfast in the restaurant was excellent and although they didn’t have a specific childrens meal there were options that were suitable for our toddler as well as high chairs. The hotel is in an excellent location for the castle and lovely local shops

There was no fridge in the room which could have been helpful.
