The hotel is very new and clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! For example, Alex, the manager, gave me a lot of information about the city, were I could go walking or where I could take a taxi to, and he also printed my boarding passes and gave me useful travel advice. The location is convenient to get to from the airport and you can also walk down the hill to a small park and then up another hill towards a shopping center and city areas. The hotel is also easy to contact on WhatsApp, which is really convenient for me and you can get in touch with questions before your arrival. The hotel was very clean and a good value compared to other places in the area. I checked a lot of options and many of them were more expensive and still had reviews saying they weren’t very clean or they had problems with insects in the room so I was just hoping for a clean place with no insects but The Great Airport hotel exceeded my expectations! I also ordered room service and the food was tasty and a good value. Also there is free wifi and some free snacks and water in the room. Also the elevator is very fashionable. Very good and highly recommend!!!

I and my associate spent a total of five nights at this hotel. The best part about the hotel is the fact that it has great sound insulation, so that you don't hear the planes landing and taking off. The location is, without an iota of doubt, excellent, especially if you have either a flight connection or customers close by. Another great aspect is the fact that the mattresses are just right, not too soft or too hard. And yes, the hotel is as clean as they come. Lastly, the hotel staff is incredibly helpful and hospitable. And, lest I forget, everything that you need from groceries to Turkish cuisine, is in the neighborhood. We had a great stay and look forward to staying here again.

This is a brand new hotel. The owner was there upon check-in, and he personally walked me to my room and offered me a coffee upon arrival. It is absolutely beautiful and once people discover it, he is going to be very busy all the time. When I got to my room, there was coffee, tea, plentiful, snacks, that they provided free of charge little cookies and cakes. My AC was brand new and it was spotless. Absolutely spotless. Big thick towels really lovely.

I can’t find anything bad about this hotel. It was very affordable and absolutely pristinely, clean and gorgeous and everyone who work there was so friendly and helpful.

A short yet wonderful stay. Close to Airport. 250-300 Lyra from/to IST with hi-speed taxis (my word they drive fast)! Smooth check in and payment. Offered us traditional Turkish tea at the reception with lovely smiles, upgraded my room with a balcony (at hotel’s initiative inquiring my smoking habit), and even arranged a taxi within 5 mins early in the morning. Not to mention all the snacks and complimentary water, tea-coffee, and snacks! All the staffs are awesome! Respect my friends! Highly recommend for a long layover at IST.

New and clean hotel. The room has all necessary amenities. Kettle, fridge, slippers, shower kit, water, snacks, tea and coffee. Would be nice to add a little creamer as well. Great personalized service at the desk. Can order food by the menu and they'll bring it in 20 min to your room. Bus H-6 from airport will drop you 5 minutes away from the hotel. The taxi costs approximately 250 liras. There's not much around, however you'll find couple mini markets and cafes to eat.

The room has everything you need! It was clean and comfortable. Special thanks to the guys Alex and Yusuf, who promptly organized my transfer and check-in! Very convenient to stay between flights. I would definitely return to this hotel next time

ordered dinner in the room, but the meat should be salted and fried well! the bread was tasteless, I didn't eat it. Why am I writing this remark so that in the future this service will be established

The room was lovely shower was amazing the bed was super comfy best night sleep I've had on holiday thus far. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate me travelling as a female alone I felt totally safe and very comfortable extremely helpful in every way. I didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it would of been nice. Absolute value for money. I would highly recommend The Great Hotel if stopping in Istabul

I had a night to spend before my flight and this hotel was the best choice! Very friendly and thoughtful staff (I got upgrade from single to double room for free, so I can sleep in bigger bed), clean and comfortable room, 25 mins to/from airport by public transport (yes, in case there is a direct bus from airport). The great airport hotel is great for real 🙂

Great place to stay if you have limited time in Istanbul! It is close to the airport, transportation was great and easy! Customer service is amazing, very friendly, hospitable and kind. Room was comfortable, clean and has everything you need plus complimentary snacks and tea. I will Definitely recommend this place!

Clean, fresh, customer service

The stay was amazing! I was able to relax and decompress after the flight! The hotel is new, everything is clean and tidy, the staff is really friendly. Alex was very professional and helpful, made me smile :) There are some nice restaurants around with really delicious lamb and Turkish delights
