Burse Ipekyolu Hotel located at the end of Cumhuriyet Caddesi, which is the "Istiklal Street" of Bursa. I really liked the Hotel location, which allowed me to take the Cumhuriyet Caddesi from the end to the beginning, reaching the touristic places after passing by local markets and shops. In case I walk opposite to Cumhuriyet Caddesi with a little bit inclined street, I'll reach a couple of Turkish markets similar to "Carrefour". Hotel was also near to a metro and bus stations, 5 and 10 minutes respectively, with the latter being on a little inclined street (There are other bus stations but I chose that one). Staff were kind and respectful.

One significant disadvantage was the whole hotel was running on motion sensor lights, except for reception and private rooms for sure. This means whenever you comeback at midnight, or you decide to leave before sunrise, you'll feel like you're walking inside a haunted abandoned building, because there will be a 1-2 seconds of total darkness until the next light turns on (I should mention that the sensors are really good and it works before you reach them, but still you'll be in dark places). For sure they can fix this by leave a single light always working in each corridor. I didn't report this to the reception as it wasn't a problem for me at all, but if my family were with me they'll have some fear and be unhappy. After all, It was a good choice and I was happy staying there.

Perfect location, short walking distance from the city gems. Comfy room with stylish vintage wooden beams and wooden floors. Breakfast included in the price kept us full. Overall great value for money.

There's a laundry service available in the hotel. We asked to wash a small bag of clothes and we got information it would be 700 TL, which was ridiculously expensive. The next day when we asked another member of the staff we were informed it would be 200 TL, but we would be charged 300 TL since the other customer didn't pay for the service [???]. Eventually we used external dry cleaning company and the cost was 250 TL. Our room was across the patio and WiFi didn't work there. The room needs little touches here and there, like fixing falling out towel hooks or broken light bulbs.

If you want to feel the real buzz of the city in a traditional atmosphere this is a perfect choice. The building is situated just next to the old bazaars and other attractions of the city.Τhe decoration is considered to give the right ambiance. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast with limited choices but was decent (perfect cheese and sesame paste) and was served in a cozy dining room. We parked the car in the private garage of the hotel at no extra charge.

The neighborhood becomes noisy after 9.00 am and a light tram passes by. The sheets and the toilet were very clean but some plumbing needed to be fixed and the whole impression was that the toilet was a little neglected and needed renovation. WiFi was very poor in the room

Everything.. Staff, location, the design was like a fairytale, room space, large bed, breakfast in a nice place with fireplace. Best hotel I have stayed in Turkey at least

Unfortunatelly there was a bad smell like cigarette or maybe from the carpets and I was waking up almost sick. Smoking is not allowed thought. And the mirror must be replaced, but everything else was perfect and if we come back we will choose it for sure!!

Located near the metro station(Demirtaşpaşa), nice atmosphere and beautiful interior decoration(old antiques, paintings, furnitures).Reasonable price. 5-10 minutes' walk to the city center, mosques, shopping/cafe/restaurant area and sightseeing spot of Bursa. No problem at all with heating system in room in winter, clean bathroom, fridge, electric plugs(type:C) and TV, adding to Turkish traditional breakfast in the morning.

Some of the facility seemed old and should be replaced.Hair dryer was broken and didn't work. Might be a little bit noisy sometimes because of tram train running close the hotel until late at night, and some young guys talking on the street. Anyway, for me it wasn't a big problem at all.

Good breakfast served in the garden. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Pleasant staff.

The room was described as a luxury room but I think that was a bit of an exaggeration as it was quite small and nothing special. When I got into my room I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. When I turned the tap on the top of it came off in my hand. When I then came out of the bathroom and closed the door the door handle also came off in my hand. To be honest though these are only minor points that didn't impact on my enjoyment of my stay .

The location of the hotel is very close to the Ulu Camii and Koza Han as well as Bursa Teleferik & Uludag. Very worthwhile. The room was clean and perfect for the three of us. Clean bathroom Hotel staff like Mr. Samet & Ms. Pinar they were all very friendly and helpful. The Turkish breakfast is interesting & everything is good and very amazing. Leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime There is nothing we don't like. Everything is fine

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the position is nice, next to the city center and the bazaar

While the hotel has a covered private parking (which is perfect), it is not that easy to reach by car (you have to drive along a narrow road where also tram passes- Bursa traffic is hell). The hotel staff was very nice to come and guide me once I was nearby the hotel

This hotel is very nice and built in a traditional style which was the first thing I liked when I entered it. Not only the reception and the common areas, but also the rooms are particular. I have enjoyed my stay here even if only for one night. There is also a big court inside where they serve breakfast outside when the weather is nice. There is also a private parking place.
