Awesome establishment, from the moment we walked in through the arched front door. We were treated to a welcome coffee in the elaborately decorated front lounge, looking out over Goreme. The staff were extraordinarily helpful at all times. Our room was not huge, but comfortable, quiet and very well decorated, and looked out over the castle-like courtyard and pool. Exploring the site, the open roof with the breakfast room had beautiful 360 degree views, covered seating areas and also carpeted areas for outdoor gatherings. When the balloons fly in the early morning, this is the best place to view them as they fly low overhead. Although there is no evening dining provided in the hotel, all of central Goreme is only a few minutes' walk away, with options aplenty. Breakfast is an extensive and delicious buffet in a purpose-built glasshouse on the roof. We will be recommending this hotel to friends.

One tiny thing, more of a joke really. As you get out of the elevator on the top (4th) floor, there is a 10cm step up immediately in front of the door as it opens. If you are not careful walking out, it is a bit of an unexpected trip hazard. Certainly a bit of an issue for anyone in a wheelchair.

All of the staff were so helpful and friendly from when I made the booking to when I left for the airport. The hotel is beautiful and really clean with great facilities. The location is perfect. It's close to all of the shops and restaurants and we were able to walk to many of the attractions but it was also peaceful and quiet. The pool was lovely and never too packed to get in. In the mornings you can easily see the balloons from the rooftop terrace. We had an excellent experience here and it really made the trip even more magical.

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave to go home!

The hotel was very beautiful and had a lovely pool area. Our room was right on the pool, and from the photos online I thought it had quite a fancy vibe. I did know that it was not adults only but there were many families staying there with many children who basically took over the pool area entirely - acting very wild and the parents didn't do anything to prevent this. I did speak with the hotel and they addressed the issue. Of course there's no way to tell what type of guest will also be staying at a hotel, but if you want to relax, maybe adult only.

The location was perfect to explore Göreme Cappadocia by foot and it was perfect during winter with less visitors and the many walks through the scenic sights were enough to keep you warm and build your appetite for the countless eateries in and around the main strip. The view of the balloons at breakfast from the hotel was phenomenal.

There is nothing we didn't like at the hotel it was perfectly well constructed and very roomy. Unfortunately there was no snow on our visit, and we only got to see the many balloons on our last morning due to the high winds during our visit.

The hotel is fantastic and Halil, who welcome us when we arrived at night, is so accommodating, helpful and nice. He helped us with our day trip booking and adjusted it according to our needs. The hotel dog "Teddy" is so charming and well behave. Rooms are spacious and very neat. Breakfast was fantastic as well. After our hot air balloon ride, we had the opportunity to seat in the roof terrace and took loads of pictures. We were served with hot tea as well. All the staff are really nice and made our stay special, it's a shame that we were only there for an overnight stay (12-13 Nov 2024). * Because we were only there for a very short time and trying to do as much, I was sending messages to the hotel staff for any query prior to our arrival, and my questions were always answered promptly. We had to change our plans due to Airline issues and still the hotel has managed to be flexible with the arrangements made. We haven't arrived yet, and already we were being taken care of which was reassuring.

The location was perfect we literally walked across the road and 10 minutes down a little desert track to see 100 balloons going up at sunrise The breakfast was great even gave us a packed lunch when we left at 6am for our flight to Istanbul

Hasan and the kitchen team served up an amazing Turkish breakfast and even helped warm food for our elderly parents. Hasan from the night shift was extremely warm and made sure we had water bottles even late at night. The housekeeping staff also deserves praise for their warm greetings and impeccable service. The manager, whose warmth radiated in every interaction, ensured that we got whatever we asked for, making our stay truly personalized and memorable. Some additional information about the hotel - The rooms are spacious and there is running hot water all the time in the bathroom. The breakfast is served on the terrace which has lovely views. The hotel can help make reservations for the balloon ride. and pick up and drop off to the airport as well. Sinan did that for us. Overall, my stay at Grand Cappadocia was nothing short of perfection. It's a testament to excellence in hospitality, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience. Location is perfect, it is in Goreme. Everything is near, restaurants, markets. Everyday the room is being cleaned. Towels, water, coffee, toiletries are being replaced/restocked. During breakfast, omelette can be requested, Suti is very kind and sweet and always asked us if we want it. Staffs and receptionist are very kind and approachable. We requested to print out visa for our next travel and they are kind enough to accomodate it without any charge. If you are not sure where to go, they will also guide and point you to somewhere nice. Showers and toilet are spacious, I love it.
