Hospitality and friendly staff. I was spoiled with the breakfast and its variety. But that’s how they do turkish breakfast. I wanted to experience it, and they delivered it. I booked a hot air balloon ride with the hotel at the last minute. I was not dissapointed neither by the price nor the tour! I would pay much more if I booked it in advance. I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. My double room was clean and it came with all essentials- TV, WiFi, mini fridge, a kettle with tea, instant coffee, sugar and bottles of water. Towels, toiletries and even slippers were included in the price. There was sauna but I didn’t use it. The room had no window and no air- condition but it didn’t bother me as I was out all the time exploring Cappadoccia. I’m a solo traveller. The hotel is quite big with terrances. It is situated a 5-minute walk from the Bus Station of Goreme. There is a friendly dog to look after the property:)

One of our favourite stays in over 18 countries! The staff here (especially Fatma Nur - I’m sure she’s an actual angel) went above and beyond daily to ensure we had the best time. From assisting with booking tours, hot air balloon rides, taxis to surprising us with daily fruit platters and Turkish coffee when we were just sitting in their lounge. I cannot recommend them highly enough! The location is a quick walk into the centre of Goreme and the views from their balcony over the city are just divine. Absolutely book here - you won’t regret it!

Our bathroom had a broken tap and shower head that didn’t like to stay upright. Everything still functional but a small detail that could hav me been improved.

The owner was so lovely and we were greeted so warmly. The rooms were large. We were in close walking distance to town and to walk up the hill in the morning to view the sunrise and balloons. Don't forget cash as you have to pay to walk up!

Air con didn't work well in our room and bathroom fan was very noisy. A smell in the bedroom probably coming from the bathroom - seems to be an issue in most places in Turkey.

I recommend the hotel, we will stay next time and invite friends. The room was cozy, with all the necessary amenities, things and details in it! A delicious breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful panorama will remain in our memory for a long time. Very hospitable family and hotel staff. We even felt a special attitude. For example, we needed to cook meat for our dog - please, no problem, help with excursions, taxis, transfers - that's for sure. Choose this hotel without thinking!

This hotel is really beautiful and my room was amazing! Such a luxury! I had the jacuzzi, the shower and the hammam area in an enormous bathroom. The jacuzzi every night was such a treat and the bed is the best I ever slept on! This hotel is not a cave and doesn't pretend to be: many hotels say 'cave' but they only have a few cave rooms and they're very expensive. Moreover, cave hotels are on the hilly part of Göreme and taxi may not be able to drop you off there so you'd have to carry any suitcase up the hill. The CakIltasI is not on the hilly side, so it's easy accessible to everyone. I also had breakfast one day and it was delicious, I loved the family feel of the hotel, it made my stay feel like I was at home. You'll also love the dogs there!

Everyday needs to inform about garbage and cleaning of the room. Furniture is very ancient. A lot of old carpets and looks like need to wash them.

Everything really. The decoration was the really nice, friendly staff, EXCEPTIONAL breakfast (lots of Turkish food to try!!) with amazing rooftop, Big room, comfy bed, big bathroom, clean. Really really good. Great price-quality ratio. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel.

Cappadoccia, in general, was really dusty and even though the hotel was super clean there was dust on some surfaces. the hotel is not in the city center, but it was not a problem for us since we rented a car.

The room we booked (Room No 302) was exceptionally great. The staff and people were friendly and very kind. The were very nice with my 4 year old. Really appreciate them. The room has stunning view with personal terrace to have a wonderful view of the famous hot air balloons. The breakfast was also very nice Turkish breakfast. One of the best fresh juice i had, was at this property. I saw the staff take out the fresh fruit juice. Location is walking distance from the center. Complete value for money. Highly recommended even with kids.

Some more options in breakfast food can be added. Room and toilet can be more cleaned. Room fresheners in room and toilet would add up to a better stay.

The hotel room was very large,ours included a private sauna and jacuzzi along with a shower. The breakfast buffet was very good and a lot of different choices.Superb location with such helpful and friendly staff. Didn’t have time to see all the sights but will return next year and will definitely stay at çakıltaşı evi otel again.

The hotel was absolutely perfect for us and found Göreme to be a lovely place so it’s hard to find any faults fortunately.
