Great location in a beautiful, hip, trendy and lively neighborhood. Walking distance from many restaurants and shops and a tram station. The room was large and comfortable for a group of 3 (with extra rollaway bed). The complimentary breakfast was delicious and provided for a large time frame. The small kitchen was perfect for light meals or heating up leftovers. The hamam next door is also stunning and worth a visit. We scheduled private airport transports through the hotel which was very helpful and convenient.

The bathroom in our room was tiny and hard to move around in. For the size of the room, it could have been much bigger. For a group of 3 friends the semi transparent shower door was a little awkward - we had to find a solution by covering it with a towel. Staff was helpful but some of them were very curt and short - we preferred to ask a specific few for help/recommendations.

The location was good near tram 1 ..our apartment was very comfortable with all the facilities we needed.. The house keeping staff do a good job

The pickup at the airport was stressful we expected someone with our name on a placard to be there but we had to go and find a man who had our name on his phone who then took us a taxi. The breakfast was disappointing..we expected a buffet with plenty of choices instead we had to ask for most items..we didn't eat the Turkish breakfast,we had just cereal and bread and eggs,no juices left out and the only fresh fruit was melon and a bowl with apples and oranges non residents got a menu and could order what they needed, there was one nice girl who understood English serving most mornings my daughter only came for breakfast one morning as there wasn't any fresh croissants or anything she liked

Great location if you like antique stores, small boutiques and quaint cobbled streets. Easy walk to main shopping area (Istiklal) as well as to the Tram to access the Old Town. Lovely Hammam adjacent to the property. Very clean with good in room facilities.

Transfer organized by hotel from the airport was 45 minutes late. Breakfast was disorganized, not ready at the stated time and generally abrupt staff. The tiniest bathroom even by big city standards. We booked this on the strength of a 9.6 rating which relative to a fairly expensive price point for Istanbul did not fully meet expectations.

Hammanane came as a pleasant and wonderful surprise after dealing with rogue Istanbul taxi drivers. From the time we checked in till the time of checkout, it felt like family. Tasin left the reception to help get our heavy luggage up a flight of steps and under the pretext of balancing himself, took two bags instead of one. Hospitality and humility at its best. Always smiling Demet with her warmth and affection is someone whom you always want around. Hammanane’s welcoming DNA is embodied in the fact that soft drinks, tea and coffee are served to all guests any time of the day and is on the house. Beer had during the stay was waived off at the time of checkout. Bulant and Tasim ensure that all guests are instantly connected with the reception on WhatsApp making sure that the guests can reach out to the hotel any time and they are always more than happy to help. Our Covid test appointment took just 3 messages and 5 minutes to set up. We were put up in the loft situated opposite the hotel with all modern fittings and a terrace that overlooked the beautiful quiet and tree dotted lane. Clothes drying on the terrace were neatly folded and kept inside the room by the housekeeping staff. We have never experienced this in any hotel during our 30 years of travel. Breakfast is like heading to a cafe every morning - the best way to start your day. The lane has antique shops, local artists selling their wares and a fine hammam adjoining the hotel. You can find 25 cafes and restaurants in a 100 meter radius from the hotel. The hotel is very close to Taksim square but without the hustle and bustle that comes with it. There is no better place to stay in Istanbul than Hammamane and one reservation is all it would take for anyone to experience the same… …thanks guys - these beautiful memories sit atop our holiday experience.

Nice clean room with modern furniture. Abundance of drinking water. Coffee machine. Breakfast is quite simple but nice to have. The whole experience was very very pleasant. The location probably is not for everybody because it is quite far from metro stations. But we like to walk so it was perfect. There is Istiklal Street and a few grocery stores. bars, very good coffee shop "Probador Collectiva", Galataport. And it is not very noisy at night.

Not much. We were traveling in winter and one evening water in a shower wasn't very hot. After a couple of hours, it restored to normal. I don't know if it is a consistent problem tho

Family owned hotel, so you see a personal touch. The room and hotel are tastefully set and decorated with all essentials you can think of. Beautiful location and Istaklal Street is just a few minutes away. Presently, the approach is difficult as the street is being redone, so a little walk to the hotel. May be after a week, the approach would be normal. The room toiletries were of very high quality. Tea coffee maker available . Throughly enjoyed our stay The cheapest taxi is arranged by the hotel compared to market price.

Could not find anything negative. Yes, a hook in the toilet to hang clothes before going g for shower. Basin size is small, resulting is spills.

An absolutely fabulous stay, too short ... We stayed in the dreamy loft, which has absolutely everything to make you feel at home. A fully functional living room and kitchenette, including a dishwasher. A warm and very pleasant atmosphere. Two bathrooms, equipped with everything you need. One downstairs and the other upstairs from the bedroom. The bedroom has a terrace where you can dine in the evening or in the morning, sit with a glass of wine and admire the surroundings. About the hosts, superlatives! The guys at the reception, wonderful, always helpful, always ready to show you around, give you advice or bring you something you simply forgot in your luggage. The owner, not to mention, knows how to make a guest feel at home. We will definitely be back! Thank you to our hosts! Hugs from Romania!

Large comfortable, clean apartment in new attached building. The office staff were lovely - very helpful dealing with any issues. Just a 10-15 min walk to the tram to the historic centre and on an interesting street.

Breakfast could have had more varied & ripe fruit and service was rather chaotic. Recommend being on a higher level at weekends as Istanbul can be quite noisy
