Extremely helpful and gentle staff - they helped me with all kind of issues, always ready to reply, speaking good English and somebody - Russian. + I had a free upgrade of my room (i initially had 2 separate reservations and stayed in the same room thanks to this free upgrade). The hotel is beautiful, situated in a calm neighbourhood, there is a hamam which is superclose to the hotel - Cukurcuma - really recommended to have an experience of turkish hamam. Very comfortable bed, bottles of water provided in the room every day. Breakfast which can be included when you want. Possibility to have a room service until 23.00 Lotion, shampoo, conditioner and gel of good quality and with a nice smell.

The sound isolation is not great - i had to sleep with earplugs. The window in my room was to the breakfast area - i would like to have black curtains, because the light coming from there was disturbing. It would be great to have coffee of a better quality for breakfast.

A nice city hotel aside from noisy Istiklal. The room was really nice and quiet with a small balcony, a big cosy bed, a stylish bathroom. For breakfast you get standard Turkish breakfast + you can order hot dish of your choice (omlette, waffles, pancakes) and you can also take juices, jams, apples, variations of coffee and tea. It's not very rich, but quite enough. It's easy for taxi to stop near the entrance.

I would recommend the hotel to mend some stuff like door handles, faucets. Also the biggest thing that I didn't like - air conditioner right above the bed, so it's not comfortable to lie on the bed and cool the room at the same time. And one more thing - I'm not sure that it's wheel-chair friendly as there are a lot of high stairs.

Amazing service - the concierge went above and beyond for us. Considering we’d been travelling a lot prior to our stay in Istanbul, we made use of their laundry service which was very easy and convenient to arrange. We also had the concierge arrange a tour guide for us, and had an amazing time with our Tour Guide Yashar. The location also was absolutely perfect. We were going to stay by the Hagia Sophia but we’re very glad some friends recommended this area instead. Lots of great (cheap) restaurants and bars around, and beautiful streets with lots of charm and character. Getting into town was also quite easy as the train was at the bottom of the street and took 4 minutes to cross the bridge. Would highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel: super kind and nice staff, cozy rooms, tasty breakfast. The location is super cool for walks around this part of city. Near the hotel there are lots of restaurants and cafes and shops and local boutiques. We plan to repeat our journey and we will definitely choose Soul hotel for our stay. Thank you!

Not the fault of the hotel, bau we had some problems with catching the taxi near the hotel. Because of traffic on the narrow streets in this quarter taxi drivers several times cancelled our trip in Uber. It is easier to catch the car on the bigger street.

The Soul Hotel is in one of the nicest areas in Istanbul, with beautiful flower filled streets, with lovely coffee shops and stores. An easy 10 min walk to get onto the tram which takes you across the bridge to The Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sophia and in the other direction another 10 min walk to get to the famous Istiklal street. The rooms are lovely with lots of light and are sound proof to guarantee a good nights sleep. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and that all your needs are met. The breakfast is really good with a wide variety and a big selection.

Lights were turning off and on all the time. Electricity needs to be fixed. Floors are not cleaned.

I chose this place because it was highly rated on various websites and it really did live up to my expectations. The hotel itself is a renovated and charming old building and its located in one of the coolest and most convenient parts of Istanbul. The areas is buzzing and artistic with great shops and restaurants and very close to major attractions but far less touristy than the old town area. The staff were amazing; they were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay in Istanbul. One of my favourite hotels anywhere now!

Amazing staff - everyone we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. They also provided some good tips on where to eat in the area. The hotel had very high cleanliness standards, and the rooms were decorated nicely with some very cute interior features. The location was incredible, and we honestly couldn't be happier with it. Lots of cute stores nearby, antique shops, cafes, etc, but also some very cool bars just moments away. Also very well located to get around to the key sights in Istanbul as well as larger shopping streets.

Some of the rooms have a lot of light coming through via the bathroom window, and as a person who's sensitive to light this woke me up in the mornings. The hotel have a free sleep kit that they provide with earbuds and a sleeping mask, and this definitely helped a little, but it would have been good if they maybe added curtains or something similar to the bathroom instead of blinds for keeping away the light more effectively.

The Soul Hotel is the place you want to stay at when in Istanbul: rooms are nice, spacious, clean and well equipped. The location is perfect, a beautiful street in Istanbul's most charming neighborhood, full of antique shops and cozy cafes, quite and away from the chaos and mainstream tourism yet with a lot of good restaurants and bars within walking distance, public transports are a 10-minute walk away. In the same street you will also find a Hammam (one of the best i have ever been to) you'll be happy about it if you have bad weather... Last but not least, the staff is kind, polite and professional: Barish at the reception is very helpful and will share precious tips with you.
