Extremely helpful and gentle staff - they helped me with all kind of issues, always ready to reply, speaking good English and somebody - Russian. + I had a free upgrade of my room (i initially had 2 separate reservations and stayed in the same room thanks to this free upgrade). The hotel is beautiful, situated in a calm neighbourhood, there is a hamam which is superclose to the hotel - Cukurcuma - really recommended to have an experience of turkish hamam. Very comfortable bed, bottles of water provided in the room every day. Breakfast which can be included when you want. Possibility to have a room service until 23.00 Lotion, shampoo, conditioner and gel of good quality and with a nice smell.

The sound isolation is not great - i had to sleep with earplugs. The window in my room was to the breakfast area - i would like to have black curtains, because the light coming from there was disturbing. It would be great to have coffee of a better quality for breakfast.

The location was great.... In a safe neighborhood, filled with charming antique stores, art galleries and cafes, and the Museum of Innocence just round the corner. Main shopping street Istiklal Caddesi is a 10-minute (uphill) walk away, and so is Istanbul Modern. If you head the opposite direction. I also loved the stylish interior decor, and the cute breakfast room.

The street noise as there are sometimes cars driving by blasting loud music. But once you shut the windows, it's fine. And just in case, ear plugs are provided as part of the amenities kit in the bathroom, although I never needed to use them. For a quieter room, ask for one on the fifth floor.

Excellent staff, very polite and impressively eager to help. The first night we arrived, we didn't like much our room because we it was kinda small, so we asked for a change, and the next morning we were given 2-3 options to choose from, so they gave us another room, bigger and more comfortable. They had left us some wine and fruits as a welcome gift, and then every day, at cleaning time, they left in our room a bottle of water for each guest. The room was nice, clean and pretty quiet despite being near a noisy and lively neighborhood. The bath and shower were also very comfortable. The breakfast was ok, a plus bonus was that there was a menu from which you could order for free an extra plate of an omelette, pancakes and other things. There was a private parking right next to the hotel, a very useful thing if you travel by car. Very good location, very close to Taksim Square.

Regarding the breakfast, i didn't like the lack of variety and the repetitiveness. I stayed 6 nights at the hotel. and the choices we had for breakfast were exactly the same every day. The access to the rooms is a bit strange, as you go up to some with the elevator but then you have to go up and down some stairs

Loooved this hotel! It's so quirky and cute but they've also really put effort into all the little details to make sure you have a comfortable stay and the staff are amazing - so friendly! Everything is impeccably decorated and feels full of character. The breakfast was really amazing quality, much better than I was expecting for a hotel buffet and I loved the area with all its little art galleries and coffee shops. I can't wait to come back!

I didn't have any issues during my stay but my friend had a room near the breakfast area which he found quite noisy so this may be a consideration. Also keep in mind there are steep staircases and a quirky layout which may require going up and down stairs. This wasn't a problem for me but if you have mobility issues it might be. Make sure to request a room with access from the lift if you need it. The staff are also lovely and will help with luggage etc.

Staff were excellent - extremely helpful. Assisted me in purchasing tickets to the Basilica Cistern and offering helpful advice on the transport system. We had the balcony deluxe double room - very comfortable bed. Shower had great pressure. Tea, coffee, kettle, fridge in room. High quality furnishings, heavy doors, hair dryer, toiletries provided. Room small but fine for us as a couple. We had breakfast at the hotel on our last morning. It was very good - nice selection with bread, fruits, cold meats, some hot items. You can order a hot meal too - I got the omelette. We liked the location quiet but close to restaurants - 8min walk to the tram at Tophane to take us to the Hagia Sophia area. The area is pretty steep so make sure you can handle walking steps and hills. Taxi goes straight to hotel door. There is a lift at the hotel - although small, it does the job of getting your luggage up and down.

We stayed for three nights and other guests on same floor was making some noise just on one night in the common area near lift which was a bit annoying but you get that in any hotel. They settled within 30mins so we didn’t contact reception. Otherwise the room itself was quiet, couldn’t hear our neighbours.

The hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very romantic and we felt very comfortable. When we come back to Istanbul, we will definitely stay in your place again.

The hotel is amazing. I never saw so much white and perfect sheets. Super clean. The stuff is very nice and ready to help. Rooms are very beautiful and stylish. Elegant. In the room there is really everything that you need. And the breakfast is also amazing. You can order a hot dish just for you. Much better than all other hotels when I was before.

It misses a little bit of sound isolation from the main hall. If someone came very late for check in, you will hear everything. Even if the location is kind of close to Taksim, it's very hard to climb the hill from hotel to metro. With one suitcase I would say impossible. Plus a bit creepy during the night to come if you are a lonely young girl.

This hotel really is a hidden gem right in the heart of Istanbul. It is a 3 star property but it is more than that. Great facilities in the room. Bathroom stunning and spacious. A very comfy bed after doing over 20,000 steps a day in this crazy city. This hotel was just the best and I am so glad we stayed there. So much choice nearby of great places to eat and a 10 minute walk to the nearest tram to take you to all the sites. The staff at the hotel were just brilliant. Every one we came into contact with could not do enough to help. Thank you especially to Ergis and Baris (sorry I hope this is correct)

I was welcomed by Isa & Nikita, the process of the check-in was less than 5 mins. The hotel is really cozy and the team are friendly. I rented the Deluxe King Room it is lovely room packed with everything you need even earplugs and eye masks to get well sleep at night. The breakfast was basic and simple but they also offers warm meals ( omelet and pancakes ), I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Berkay, the marking manager and had many recommendations to try, he was kind enough to give complimentary Turkish sweets. I would also mention Ms. Nerges, she was delightful and hard worker. The hotel is tiny and would recommend it for couples or solo traveler who are looking for quite places.

The staff, and I mostly dealt with Narghiiz, Nikita and Nizam, could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had a tough day getting to Istanbul, having had an unpleasant incident on the way, and when I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and care and my room was so clean and welcoming. It was a great relief getting to The Soul and I never felt other than cared for the whole time I was there. The location was excellent being very close to the hub of activity and with easy access to Karakoy and the Old City. I walked to Karakoy regularly and used trams, buses and the ferries from there.
