The location of Hotel Saba is excellent for being a tourist in Istanbul. It is easy walking distance to the Hagia Sofia, Bleu mosque, the Cistern, the grand bazaar and the local tram stations that allow you to quickly and easily reach the spice bazaar and the boats at the Bosporus. We used these boats to quickly get about further Around the city. The view from the breakfast terrace is amazing, with the blue mosque, Agra Sofia and the Bosporus all in view. The breakfast is varied every day and plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was new and the shower was good. The hotel was clean.

Our room was on the top floor with the breakfast terrace and although it had an amazing view of the Bosporus it was a very hot room because it was all windows, the smell and noise of breakfast came early in the morning and the curtains did not cover all of the windows so it was very light.

I like the location of the property. Was very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The staff were excellent and very kind. The cleaning group who cleaned our room did a great job. The breakfast was very good also.

The things I did not like about the property was the TV did not work and there was issues with the AC.

The staff in the reception and breakfast are very helpful and welcoming. They let us to check in earlier than the regular time. Breakfast is in the last floor with great view to the Blue mosque and the sea. There was a great selection for the breakfast. We could also enjoy sitting in the terrace of the last floor in the evening.

The room that we stayed had an interior window without good air circulation, so it was a bit dificult to have fresh air in the room. Also when we had the window open we could hear the noise from other rooms that also had interior window. The towels were clean but rather old, it would be great to replace the towels with new ones. When we arrived the room had a stong coloride smell which was because of cleaning but maybe a bit less smelly products can be used for cleaning.

Fabulous location for exploring the old city. Only a few minutes walk to major sights and also close to Sultanahmet tram stop. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast to set you up for the day and view from the breakfast room terrace is superb. Hotel located on a side street which is relatively quiet for a city centre location. No intrusive traffic noise at night. Room clean and comfortable. My room deal included a free taxi transfer from IST airport, which went very smoothly.

No significant negatives. Just two minor points: I stayed 5 nights and the tea and coffee sachets in the room did not appear to be automatically replenished every day. To be fair, when I asked about it, it was taken care of immediately. Second minor point: having breakfast on the terrace is a great experience but watch out for the seagulls - if you leave your breakfast unattended they will help themselves to your breakfast!

The hotel was a great experience for us and we would return here when we come back to Istanbul. Everyone in the staff made us feel welcomed, made sure that we had what we needed and made us feel lile we were at home. The location was perfect, 4-6 minutes walk to the area that includes the Blue Mosque, Ayasofia, and Topkapi Palace. Also, it was 12-15 minutes away from the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. You also had multiple general markets, restaurants, souvenirs shops, pharmacies, aswell as a tram station nearby that you could use to get to ferry boat tours and Dolmabahçe Palace. At night, the neighbourhood was calm and peaceful, and it was safe overall. The breakfast was delicious and fresh everyday, offering a wide range of alternatives. The ladies who were serving and preparing the food were very kind, joyous, and always willing to help you. The room was nice and neat, offering AC, TV, fridge, and the means to prepare coffee or tea in the room. Room service was also great, always making sure the towels were changed and everything was clean everyday. Last but not least, the receptionists were very hospitable, kind, wholehearted, offered plenty of information, and always welcomed you with a smile on their faces. To wrap it up, the hotel benefits from a perfect location, amazing and very friendly staff, great food, beautiful rooms, and neat room service. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul, whether you are a first-time traveler, or willing to have a full experience of the city. P.S. The view from the terrace where the breakfast is being served is breathtaking.

There were no issues with the hotel

I like the hotel for its beautiful rooms and kind staff, especially mr. Omar. Also, the breakfast is very diverse and tasty! They are also in contact with many activities that you have to try out, for example the Dinner Cruise on Bosphorus, which is extraordinary! You can negotiate even these activities.

Unfortunately, I do not like the hotel for its other staff except Omar and the parking service which you will find out that is not in the price specified in the booking details.

The location was great - walking distance to all the major attractions in Sultanahmet and practically next door to the Blue Mosque, The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious and very clean with good storage space.

The breakfast was really poor - we spent 4 nights and only on one morning was there a good selection of bread and various items. On the other days the dishes were not topped up. Also the breakfast room - which has a fantastic view of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia - is reachable by stairs only, People with mobility issues will not be able to make use of this facility.

Absolutely best hotel and staff I have ever been in. I stayed in Saba Hotel for 4 nights - a few hours after departing (and already in Capadocia), I noticed I had left my engagement jewel in my room. The hotel staff, and specially Mustafa, went way out of their way to find it and sending it to me ASAP. I can only praise their honesty and involvement over the whole process, and I am deeply grateful to them for having reunited with my necklace. As for the hotel, it’s extremely well-located, clean, and reasonably priced. 10/10, absolutely recommended!

None.

It is an excellent location if one is interested in being in the heart of the old city. Beautiful view of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the sea having tasty and fresh breakfast on the terrace of the Hotel.

The description of the rooms on Booking was very accurate, so we knew what to expect. The room didn't have a proper window, but we knew that. The room, including the bathroom, was very nice and much better than we expected.

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful giving me advice from the day I checked in to my departure. The views from the terrace are really beautiful and open to guests all day with the beautiful Sultanahmet Camii and Hagia Sophia in the background as well as views from the Bosporus. Definitely a highlight having breakfast on the terrace with those views.

Nothing related to the hotel but the neighbourhood is somewhat expensive as it is a tourist area.
