Staff provided great hospitality. The breakfast was diverse and tasty. The location of the hotel is 1 street away from Galata-tower (30m approx.) and also close to Sishane M2 metro line and to Istiklal Cd.

Despite the proximity to Galata-tower, the street of the hotel's was full of trash and didn't give comforting feeling. Last morning I couldn't have breakfast because of early flight and although lunch box was discussed and so called pre-arranged, I didn't get it in the morning, the morning receptionist didn't know anything about it.

Perfect location, around the corner from cafes, shops and restaurant. walking distance to the metro station (śishane), aroun the corner from the historical place (Galatea tower), 5 min walk to Istiklal Street. Meanwhile the hotel is located in a quiet ally. Super friendly and helpful staff to help with requests. The breakfasts are being served at the rooftop, amazing view with delicious food.

The hotel did not take any responsibility in response to the missing money from the room. They advised that since the room has been equipped with a safe, the passenger is to blame if any valuables missing.

I enjoyed staying in the facilities, the staff Umit and Muscab as well as the others were awesome. I will definitely stay at that Meroddi La Port Hotel.

The only issue I had was with Booking.com, which until today has not refunded me back the money that I have paid for the hotel using their site. I have provided them with a screenshot of my bank app as well as the text message I received immediately, they have not released my money. I will never ever use Booking.com, this was my first time ever using it.

The breakfast was a bit routinely predictable.

Staff was the friendliest they could be, comfort was great, breakfast was ok, hotel standard was overall quite high.

location -in central downtown - a very dirty area of the city in the alleys of Taksim - Istanbul. Good location for people who like shopping and restaurants but walking is the way to get around. I should have researched the area better as I would have stayed in a more placid location if possible.

The location was amazing. Easy access . The room was very clean and got everything needed in it. The staff were helpful and really welcoming. I enjoyed the rich breakfast with the nice view.

I didn't like that my room was facing a wall. The staff tried to find me another room but the hotel was full. I'd like to suggest that they mention that for people while doing booking. The breakfast was the same every day maybe to try to change its components .

Visited Istanbul for 5 days and i had booked here for the first 2 days thinking i could walk around and find a better place after the first 2 days. I ended up extending my stay here for the rest of my trip. This hotel is perfectly located next to Galata tower. Although, it's not on the same lane as Galata, it's on a parallel lane but it's less than 200m from the tower itself. It can get a bit loud due to the fact that Galata tower is always busy with tourists but apart from that, everything was great at this hotel. Also, the front desk was extremely helpful. They always helped us finding the best way to travel. One of them (Umut) even gave me his Istanbulkart since i landed on a Sunday and everything was closed by the time i got to the hotel. Very good experience here 👍

- Breakfast wasnt the best but it does have a lot of options. - It could get loud at night due to the fact that tourists are always nearby. - it's a hike getting to the hotel since its on top of a hill so be prepared

Breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view on the Golden Horn. The staff was very friendly and helped organising transports and suggesting many places to visit

Well located right in front of Galata tower this property is exactly what you need if you plan to stay near Galata, Istiklal and Taksim square. The moment you’ll move out of the hotel you’ll see Rose Cafe wherein you’ll find The Best San Sebastián cake. And please do try San Sebastián from Rose cafe ONLY. Rest aren’t half as good. You’ll walk 650 meters and you’ll be at Istiklal street and you won’t have to go anywhere else. Our room was big enough for two of us with everything that we need (minus a view from our room). They have one of the best view from the rooftop restaurant where they serve breakfast. All in all a good hotel for a comfortable stay (if you don’t mind walking). It was some steep hiking.

Nothing really but yeah our shower was broken with bad drainage and low water pressure and they could only partially fix it in three days but with everything else it was worth ignoring.

The property is near the Galata Tower at 2 minutes. The hotel is very clean and we had luck because we had the room with city view at the 3rd flore. you can see all istanbul from your balcony. The people that are working in the hotel are very kind and the help you anytime when you ask them. You are not so far from the Hagia Sofia, you can take the tramvay, it’s like 20 min. Thank you Merroddi for making my vacation unforgetabble. Best hotel ever!!
