There are only two elevators for hotel occupants which is not enough considering the large number of rooms. So people wait a lot for the elevator car and it is mostly full. They don't accept Turkish lira, only Euro or Dollar They don't have the country Palestine registered in their system, but only Israel

i wished that my stay at the hotel could have been longer. We will return if it is destined for us to do so. I liked everything about the hotel: the location, the staff, the cleanliness, and the attention to the smallest details. The speed in fulfilling requests. The receptionist Mr. Khalil and Mrs. Nancy the Egyptian were wonderful and classy in their dealings and in their quick response to anything related to our stay. Greetings and many thanks to them. I didn't dislike anything, just had an issue with my room , but the complaint was quickly resolved and changed to a better one. Thanks to all of them.

I stayed at the hotel with a sister for three nights, it was absolutely great: clean rooms, common areas, very delicious breakfast, very helpful staff at the reception. We asked for several favors, and all of them were immediately implemented. Thank you, guys, for a sweet compliment and loukum at the check out-it’s so warm-hearted ❤️ To sum up, I would highly recommend this hotel to people who look for a hotel in the center of Istanbul (2 min walk of the Taxim square) and who want to feel very comfortable for a reasonable price.

2nd stay at Nippon in early August. every day highlight was the breakfast session. excellent spread. great service. items changed daily. ask for their tasty omlettes. we used Google translate app to explain but they did understand English well. location was great for our holiday stay. short walk to taksim metro. restaurant open till late all over. great walking streets nearby. perfect tourist holiday. Nippon team gave me a better room than booked and they were attentive to all my requests. TIP: easy to get taxis but be careful not to use Uber app. 90% of the time drivers will overcharge. and in tourist hot spots all taxis will double rates. best to use local taxi apps like BiTaxi etc.

Everything was perfect; location, staff, cleaness, breakfast and even the room size which is not very large but it was better than most hotels in Istanbul I stayed in before. Most of the days we returned to find them leaving us some complementary fruits or a plate of desserts. The reception gave me a Turkish Delight box as a gift when I was checking out, this was a very elegant gesture. One of the most welcoming hotels I stayed in! I will definitely stay there next time I go to Istanbul.

I was a bit unlucky with the other guests near my room, seems a group had few rooms near me and they made some noise in the corridor near my room. But things like this are pure luck, the hotel can't control it. When I mentioned it to the staff they politely apologized and said they will try to avoid these things in the future but it is very difficult to control.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nippon Hotel, the location is great, easy to walk to near by restaurants and shops and most importantly Taksim square. has a nice gym. what I really have to point out is the extremely friendly staff, always smiling and ready to help with anything I needed. special thanks to Mr. Azad and Mr.Kaan for all their help as well as the wonderful lady with them at the reception who always helped with transportation and answering questions about places to visit. my only comment really is the AC in the room not being cold enough and always between 24-25 degrees Celsius which is warm for the hot summer, and same for the minibar (doesn’t make beverages placed inside it cold).

The location is excellent. The way they treat their guests is excellent. They even print a personalised message and keep it in your room. Even Not many top hotels does that these days. They even follow up the following day to ensure if we are comfortable and if they need anything else. Surprised to see the real hospitality these days for the price we pay for.

Breakfast Organization shall be better since the staff forget what we even asked for. Need more improvement on that. Otherwise the staffs were all courteous, warm n very welcoming.

This is my 2nd visit to Turkey, and I proudly selected Nippon Hotel for staying again The staff as before, always caring, courteous and understanding. Room service order followed in 2 minutes. The senior management is always eager to know about the stay, comfort, and facilities and, on the forefront, to get it resolved there and then. The senior guests' relations uncharge, Ms. Gabriel approached my wife a couple of times for her special needs, etc. This gesture of Ms. Gaber made us feel highly honoured. I strongly recommend Nippon Hotel for a comfortable, peaceful, and safe stay.

I have no idea how the hotel accommodates guests on wheelchair as I never saw wheelchair access. I think the guest can select the option at the time of booking.
