Perfect hotel that met all my needs. They even upgraded me to a huge executive suite which was a pleasant surprise. Had an awesome view overlooking the city streets below and the bosphorus straits in the distance. Location was excellent; an easy 10 min walk along flat ground to the Istanbul Congress centre and 3 mins to Taksim square, 5min to the taksim metro station, funicular station, and to Istiklal street for all day all night shopping. Lively surroundings and yet, felt very safe even at midnight. Room was cleaned everyday, amenities were all functioning well. Breakfast was an excellent spread on the rooftop with a view of the Bosphorus straits. Staff were courteous and helpful and even helped us book an airport taxi.

I am shocked that on my way out, the people at reception asked to le dé them my phone: they asked me to hand them my Booking App because “they needed to check my reservation number”, and instead, they wrote a positive review IN MY NAME without telling me. The hotel service was pretty decent, so I am appalled they did this, as if I were not going to find out…..I find it unacceptable that they are willing to cheat their clients for such a dumb reason. I was otherwise going to give them a good review…..

Perfect location! Within a walking distance you can reach feels like a half of the main attractions and a variety of places to eat out. I stayed with my mum and we enjoyed the swimming pool with sauna a lot. We were twice in the pool and there was no one except us (maybe because our stay was in off season)! I was afraid that breakfast would be a typical continental stuff but luckily there were a lot of Turkish specialties like sucuck, menemen, olives, tons of types of cheese, honey, and simit. If you are big fan of typical continental breakfast, you'll find options for you as well. I'd also like to highlight the quality of service. Every day we were taken care of by the manager Pelin who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay to enjoy Istanbul without any problems. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and can highly recommend it to others.

The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to istanbul ( taksim )

The furniture in the room was a bit old.

-The staff were helpful. -The breakfast is pleasant. -The location is the best thing about the hotel.

-The room furniture and decoration does not represent a five-star hotel. -There is always a lot of noise outside the rooms through the hallways. -Many people keep knocking at the door despite the 'Do not Disturb' sign being turned on.

The location of the hotel is very good just beside airport buses stop and very close to istiklal street. Metro station is close. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I felt like in home.

Taking a vacation after 4 years with the family due to covid and many unforseen reasons, Point Taksim was a gem in the Mist of all. As a genius 3 member, we always opt for hotels that offer the best in the service, and value for the best in price. After searching for hours and days and months I was able to find Point. We booked the executive senior suite which completely full filled the requirements I wanted , the view of Bosphorus, the view of the city and the space. Everything was well organised. The hotel is well placed and near walking distance to Istiklal CD, you enjoy the view, the Taksim Square and the food. As we had travelled during the busiest months of the year. We kept a close eye on the movement. Alot of good restaurants around the area. Hotel is well equipped with all kind of facilities, best I would say the view. My kids often enjoyed the Executive Lounge with wonderful morning hostess and kept their appetite in touch. Lovely stay lovely weather and lovely view. A must stay.

The breakfast was very good but as portkal fan and coffee in.the morning those two were missing. But other than that there is nothing to dislike in this hotel. Coffee and Portkal is my personal choice.

Great location for vacation in a central spot, near to transport and in walking distance from the Istiklal street- we couldn't have chosen a better spot. All the staff was amazing, tending to every need , from the cleaning crew to the reception people. Special thanks to Merve who not only assisted with a small medical emergency but also went beyond obligations with showing special care and making sure all is ok and safe. We coudlnt' be more thankful.

Unfortunately the wonderful people working at the hotel cannot make up for the building deficiencies. There is a large issue with sound isulation- one can hear the showers working in the next rooms as loud as if in our room as well as doors banging end even lower volume speaking in the corridors. Bed mattresses were old and mushy on spots making sleep not very comfortable. The building comfort leaves much to be asked for and is not up to standards with a 5star hotel.

Outstanding place Room with panoramic view- you can see sunrise and Bosphorus . Very good quality of breakfast and turkish coffee -various choice of meals. I liked pancakes with maple syrup. Very good located in the center of Taksim- there is straight bus Havaist nr 16 goes from the airport and stops right in front of the hotel. There is also passing by near another one public bus Nr 12 in case if you are tired during walk and hotel is located on the hill, so it is very good to get this bus from ferry station (stops near) to the hotel.

Toilet brush in the bathroom is missing. It is kind of inappropriate. Please put it at any toilet - it is literally essential hygienic staff and basic need to clean after yourself . I saw this complaint before also and thought that in 5 star hotel this accessory must be.
